We spent only one night in this lovely hotel and everything was absolutely fantastic! Very, very attentive staff members, will go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable! Excellent breakfast! Lovely and relaxing Spa area! View from the room, despite the weather, was beautiful!

We have just spent two nights at the Brehon Hotel , It was a fabulous stay , we had dinner in the restaurant on first night and bar food the second night, the food on both nights were delicious. The staff are all very friendly and polite. Our room was lovely and spotlessly clean. We will be back .

This is a beautiful hotel omg! We stayed there yesterday and I really loved it. Very friendly staff especially Ricardo and Pedro originally from Portugal, they always make sure that their customers will look after them. The food is really good from breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner. We are a really satisfied, highly recommended hotel. They have a nice swimming pool, sauna, steam room, foot spa, jacuzzi hot and cold and many more. Photos will be added soon.

Best Hotel I've stayed in, very luxurious. Lovely views, central to all the attractions, friendly staff, great restaurant and spa, and the bed was very comfortable. Couldn't have been better, I will definitely stay there again when I visit Killarney.

I recently stayed at The Brehon and could not have asked for a better experience. The grounds and building are beautiful, there is also plenty of parking. The check in/check out process was simple and the staff I interacted with were all lovely. This hotel is located quite close to the town center, although not directly within, you could walk to shops and restaurants. The bedroom and bathroom were quite large, everything about the room was clean and tidy. I wish I was able to spend more time there as I didn’t get to try their restaurants or the spa. I would absolutely recommend staying here for any occasion!

Amazing experience for our family holiday at the Brehon. The hotel is immaculate, the food is exceptional and the team there are just so accommodating and kind. A special mention for Maria one of the managers who just went over and above to help in every way that she could. She is such a kind and helpful person and made our experience truly 5 star !!

One of the BEST places I have ever stayed. We stayed 5 nights and didn’t want to leave. The hotel is gorgeous. The rooms are clean and spacious. The breakfast is fantastic. The spa is incredible. The staff are a delight. If you are going to a convention, you absolutely want to stay here - the center is right next door. Downtown is a short walk, as is the National park. If you don’t stay here in Killarney, you are making a huge mistake!

Quite frankly, the best hotel room I have ever had. Everything about the hotel was wonderful. The only negative thing I noticed was there were no luggage racks for your luggage. But that is just being petty. My wife and I are already planning a return. I cannot recommend this place enough.

An impressive building a few hundred yards from Killarney's shopping precinct. The rooms are enormous with huge well fitted bathrooms. Unfortunately my bathroom needed a revamp with some amateurish silicon repairs and discoloured grouting which distracted from the "grandeur". The breakfast was really good with selections of cold and hot foods to please most English and American tastes. The restaurant staff were attentive, as were the reception.

I was here for a wedding last year and it was an amazing place. I never slept so comfortably. Didn't have much problems but if your here for a wedding prepare for around 3 hours wait before you can enter your hotel room. I know it's not the hotels staffs fault as there was a lot of rooms that they had to prepare but we had to wait outside or in the lobby. Other than that it was great.

By far the best hotel ive ever stayed in, The bar and restaurant for food is top class with a fantastic food menu and all coverage of beverages including the invested Cocktail menu. I have to give a huge Shout out to Sean who sold us the hotel wedding package when we arrived for a look around back in early 2022. Sold me the wedding package with a confident personalised approach. Our Wedding Coordinator Caitríona and the team at hand where nothing short of being hidden gems. Its hard to make a couple on the big day feel at complete eash and feel stress free but it was 100% accomplished from the minute we set foot through the doors on the day and months of planning before hand. Genuinely the Brehon Hotel has it all with a 1st Class service and the best guest experience overall. This hotel from start to finish had every detail locked in as asked. Staff are truly amazing with the leadership of fantastic managers which is clearly visible. The Brehon hotel and spa is truly a couples retreat and definite feature to be visited when visiting. Cold plunge pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, rain shower, ice scrub, foot bath and water jets within the vitality pool. The only advice for future guests is that there are people in training and learning the trade which hopefully can be taken into consideration. Remember its nice to be nice and enjoy the experience.

Beautiful hotel in great location. Our room was wonderful with a gorgeous view. We tried the pool/ spa area. Very nice. Staff extremely helpful and welcoming. Highly recommend for a stay in beautiful Killarney.

Everything was great! We were not planning to use the spa but with storm Agnes going by and an orange alert we took advantage of it. Server Lorenzo at breakfast and diner was friendly and competent. Room was spacious a d bed comfortable. Thank you to staff for thinking of our safety first and for the breakfast box early in the morning.

Managed 2 nights here in 2018. What an amazing spot! I was given a SUITE. Rooms were the largest we had during our 2 months in Ireland. Brilliant, helpful staff and friendly bar team. Many a Guinness flowed over those days and it was much appreciated. Slante

Rooms are just what you need from a hotel we were in 314 at the front , wide screen TV good choice of channels, Bath and shower, and cool box . Lovely beds good mattress 👌. The breakfast had a choice hot and plenty of it ,we sat at the same table for four mornings and I looked at the same dirty windows, the chairs in dinning room were chipped and in need of a replacement. The bar was also used as a restaurant, the menu was expensive for bar food and wasn't great, bar service was poor, the lamps over the bar hadn't seen a duster in weeks ,also the bottles on the top shelf needed a good clean . I had worked as a barman for 17 years so I know what I mean, to many staff talking and not keeping an eye on people at the bar ,one said he had waited 20 minutes for a drink, its was more like ten minutes but the bar wasn't that busy.

We had an amazing afternoon tea in the Brehon. The menu was perfect with a mix of sweet and savoury and all the staff were extremely friendly. Our lovely server Claire surprised us with glasses of Prosecco and a dessert for my moms birthday. This made the day so special and a wonderful experience!.

Fantastic hotel, service, comfort and location are top notch. Parking was plentiful. Stayed 4 nights in late February and the hotel was mostly empty. We had the deluxe superior room which was on a corner with views on two sides. Not that we spent any significant time in the room, but it was still a nice experience. We ended our days in the bar/restaurant and the spa which was heavenly after a day of hiking, driving or bike riding. Service the restaurant was great, we got to know the guys and enjoyed sharing our daily adventures with them plus learning a bit about them as well. One gentleman in particular was an avid gardener and we shared our passion for working in the yard and what flowers grew best in Killarney versus where we are from in Central Florida.

A beautiful hotel top to bottom! My room was so nicely appointed, comfortable and quiet. The bar and dining provided great service and delicious fare. Breakfast was beyond amazing. Fresh, so many choices and staff that served our large group with skill. A perfect place from which to explore the surrounding area.

Positive feedback; Bar & spa staff was a lovely atmosphere and smells Spa facilities were lovely but little outdated Beds were okay nothing amazing. Waiting staff were very nice. Negative feedback; . Restaurant; Chicken wings had barely any sauce it was all at the bottom not over them Waiting over 1 hour for mains even with small starter. We had no water on our table also. **Only for Ricardo the waiter he apologised for the service not being up to standards and looked after us so thank you ❤️ Bedrooms; Not worth the money for the bedroom, stains on the walls beside the beds and on a cushion to which looks to be blood. Room & interior very outdated. No extractor fan in the bathroom. Light switches awkwardly. Walls are very paper thin and you can hear everything outside your door. I wouldn't be coming back to stay unfortunately.

This is the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in. Rooms are absolutely beautiful, with everything you could possibly need. I stayed in a room with a balcony and the view was incredible. Staff are lovely, restaurant on site serves beautiful food. Pool and spa also on site. Would come back tomorrow if I could!

Stayed in Brehon hotel a while back as was heading to a George Ezra concert. Myself and the wife forgot our charger and asked at reception after check in. The staff were most obliging to help us and had gave us one till we were checking out. Went for dinner before we headed to the concert and food was lovely. After concert we had a few drinks in the lobby. Had a good night sleep without hearing a word

The Brehon is a nice hotel by itself, but the team that runs it, to the main desk, to the restaurant or the little hands, everybody is welcoming and helping. A special thanks to the new spa manager, she was really kind and nice. Management take notice : you have a good team 👍 This is a place where I would like to return.

Our room was lovely nice n airy and dressing gown n slippers provided . Unfortunately when I took a shower a lot of black dirt appeared on the shower tray obviously not from me . Shower wasn't cleaned properly after previous occupant . We weren't allowed access to our room until 5.30 despite presenting ourselves earlier and were told we would be contacted as soon as room was ready . We weren't contacted and only for a few trips to reception finally accessed our room.

Just back from 5 nights with the family. An excellent hotel I genuinely have to say each and every staff member go out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Nice airy rooms. Good atmosphere in the bar in the evening. The location is great as you are a stones throw away from the parks and a 10 min walk to the centre. The only small annoyance was that the key cards that are used for the rooms kept failing and we had to get them recoded almost every day. Other people travelling with us had the same gripe. Only a minor irritation it didn’t stop us having a great time.

This is one of the best hotels in Killarney. We have visited this hotel multiple times throughout the years. It is kept to an extremely high standard. Staff are eccentric and the service in my view is 5 Star not 4 star. The only negative about this hotel is the stars are 4 and I believe it should be a 5 Star hotel it is so great. The location is ideal and it is about a 30 minute walk to the town centre. It is not far from the Killarney National Park either. I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Killarney. I would highly recommend this hotel for afternoon tea, your wedding venue or even just a romantic weekend away. There is nothing bad about this hotel and it is very family friendly also. I would highly recommend a visit to this hotel. We have never been disappointed with a stay here.

Everything about this hotel was amazing. The staff were all so helpful and kind, the service was beyond expectations- we had delicious Irish breakfast delivered right to our room every morning. The spa is an absolute must try if visiting this hotel, so relaxing and just what I needed after long days of traveling. Perfect for couples!

We had the most amazing stay at the Brehon. They always did a great job servicing our room (the deep tub was AWESOME), The hotel was always neat and tidy, the staff was incredibly helpful, and it was hard not to have a great sleep when you have a bed that comfortable. The Brehon Bar had amazing food and the servers were incredible (Kenny especially!!) And the continental breakfast at Danu was the best breakfast I have ever had at a hotel... And it was free! If you have time you should check out the thermal spa downstairs, it was an extremely luxurious experience at no extra cost. Thank you for a great stay everyone!

Stayed here multiple times and it's one of my all time favourite hotels. Very beautiful lobby and gorgeous clean and modern rooms. Great food and service, really can't go wrong with this hotel. The pool area is very relaxing as well.

If you visit Killarney, this is the absolute best hotel there. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had amazing views all the way around. I can't express the kindness of the staff at the bar. The bar supervisor pronounced Una (can't remember the spelling of her name), Ricardo, Martina, and of course little Gilbert were so amazing the first night we were there that we canceled our dinner reservations and ate at the hotel the second night. It was such a great atmosphere that we ended up staying at the bar way longer then anticipated and we made friends with some local Irish folks and fellow Americans. I can't rave anymore about the level of service that we recieved especially from Ricardo he is the epitome of customer service!

An outstanding break away for my partner and I, hotel service and staff were excellent, the hotel was spotless. We stayed on a very busy weekend the bike festival which was unknown to me prior to booking but the atmosphere was great. A special thanks to Pádraig who looked after us with the parking facilities and our breakfast he is a great addition to the hotel a gentleman won’t stay anywhere else when visiting again.

The Brehon Hotel is such a beautiful and amazing hotel. I cannot say enough about how kind and attentive the staff were to me and my family. This was our first trip to Killarney. The rooms were spacious, clean and beds were so comfortable. We had the breakfast buffet. The food was so delicious with many food choices- both hot and cold items. A true Irish breakfast. We ate every night in the Brehon Bar. Fantastic food! Many choices on the menu. The Guinness soup was amazing along with the salmon pasta with bacon. We were able to use the spa as well. Incredible stay. Our trip to Killarney was fantastic. A huge thank you to all the staff at the Brehon! We are looking foward to returning soon.

Our return visit to the Brehon bar for food was a much improved and a most enjoyable evening. The new menu is to be commended. All dishes were fresh and filling. Lots of choice on the menu too. We will definitely be returning to the Brehon Hotel for bar food. Service was excellent.

Just home from a fantastic stay in the Brehon. The hotel is beautiful and rooms are very spacious and comfortable but the real stars of the show are the staff. Nothing is a problem and everyone has a smile, hello and good humor. Helen on reception is lovely and helped with our return reservation, now we just have to count down the days to our much looked forward to return

We went for afternoon tea with our 16 month old toddler. Having not been since 2018 it was lovely to come back and the food was amazing. However our server was not. Despite booking 2 adults and a 16 month old she asked if we still wanted afternoon tea for the "baby". What was he supposed to do exactly as we had come as a family. She was unfriendly and rude and completely different with guests staying in the hotel which made me see she thought she would get no tip from us and she'd have to clean up after the baby. We left no mess behind and no tip. Because at a place like this one expects better. The last time we were there in 2018 I was pregnant and looked forward to coming back as a family. But at ten months old my baby girl died and we were back with our son today so it was actually a very important family outing for us, it was indeed already bittersweet...💔 Claire could have made it more enjoyable but instead she made us feel like a burden to her. Really what a pity because I'm not sure I'll bother coming back

Stayed here for three nights and it was perfect! Such a beautiful hotel. The room was gorgeous and spacious, the food was lovely in the bar and the staff were absolutely amazing, so helpful and pleasant. Can't recommend it enough, can't wait to go back!
