I
had
a
lovely
stay
in
the
Killeen
House
Hotel
after
trekking
holiday
in
the
McGillycuddy's
Reeks
nearby.
I
stayed
with
a
group
and
we
had
3
rooms.
Ours
was
in
the
courtyard
section
which
has
been
recently
renovated.
Our
room
was
great.
Very
comfortable,
great
shower,
bed,
flat-screen
tv
and
generally
all
of
the
comforts
you
would
expect.
The
price
was
very
good
considering
the
location
and
time
of
year.
The
best
thing
about
the
hotel
is
definitely
the
food.
Rozzer's
restaurant
is
superb.
After
a
long
and
arduous
trek,
and
a
summit
earlier
that
day
of
Carrauntoohil,
our
group
was
delighted
to
tuck
into
beautifully
presented
and
delicious
food
at
prices
we
felt
were
very
reasonable
for
the
quality.
The
breakfast
the
following
day
was
delicious.
The
staff
were
very
friendly
&
helpful.
The
small
bar
was
cosy
&
the
Guinness
received
the
seal
of
approval
of
our
most
demanding
pint
connoisseur.
It's
a
very
pleasant
hotel
that
we
found
charming.
