Beautiful hotel. Very relaxing atmosphere and of course a beautiful setting. Staff were fantastic. Have to mention Ellie who served us for breakfast and dinner. She had such a lovely manner, was very friendly and helpful. I booked a massage for my stay and have to say that this was a bit of a let down. It just didn't seem to be organized very well and the treatment rooms are just off the pool area, so you could hear everything going on in the pool, including the children playing. Which wasn't a very relaxing background noise. The 'relaxation' area was also just a glass table with two chairs. Just didn't seem to fit in with the rest of the hotel and would expect a lot more for treatments at a five star hotel.

First class hotel. Stayed here for a wedding and this hotel caters perfectly for large functions. Rooms are well appointed. Great views of the Gap of Dunloe from some of the rooms. Service is good here and very well managed.

We recently got married at the Dunloe Hotel and it was the greatest decision we made. From the minute we went through the door for the very first time, right through the tasting to our wonderful wedding, the entire staff at the Dunloe made our wedding spectacular. They listened to everything we wanted and delivered. The day was so seamless we didn't have to think of one thing on the day, just had to enjoy ourselves. Their coordination was honestly flawless. Due to the weather, we had to have an indoor ceremony, and I'm happy to report the setting was stunning with windows overlooking the gap. The food was unbelievable, and there was loads of it, plenty of wine and top ups too. All of our guests are still gushing about every single element of the day, from the canapés, the service, the dinner, the rooms, the activities. One of our guests with a nut allergy said it was the most thoughtful, and reassuring service she has ever had eating out as it was so considered. Other guests took full advantage of the hotel offerings with their children. They used the pool the morning after the wedding and went pony trekking on the grounds of the hotel. They made some magical memories. If you are considering The Dunloe, don't think twice. I would like to especially thank Rachael, Simon, Jason, Klaudia & Bridie for all of their genuine care and attention- you're a power team! We will definitely be back for our first anniversary. Very relaxed, tranquil location, excellent staff, great for food. Spa is small. Great tennis and the pool is fabulous, gardens are matured and maintained. Room service was exceptionally good from Michael. Looking forward to going back.

Killarney is one the most beautiful parts of Ireland. Dunloe is a beautiful hotel and Garden resort. Amazing food and services. Hotel room with a breathtaking view. Breakfast and dinner was fabulous. The view from the restaurant is the cherry in top!

We stayed for a few nights this summer with the two kids. They had a great time swimming, playing tennis and horse riding. The restraunt was great, a good selection and the staff are extremely professional. Lucie was brilliant. The bar was perfect for us in the evening, it had a nice atmosphere and the pints were lovely. We were all disappointed to be leaving, we'll definitely be back for a longer stay next year.

What a lovely experience. Our first time in Ireland from the United States and this was one of the best stays ever. I loved the indoor pool, the play areas for my little one to enjoy. The fairy garden trail map was so fun, we enjoyed looking for all the fairy houses. We eloped in a nearby national park (Killarney) and the hotel was kind enough to let me take photos in my wedding dress around the grounds.

Great for families, not that great for couples. We've stayed here for one night and it was a very mixed experience for us. The hotel itself, the room, the food and staff is really great. The view is perfect and the surroundings with the sheep and horses is also very picturesque and very Irish. But... if you are looking for a relaxing, calm hotel with a serene spa or if you don't have kids yourself, then this is not for you. When we were there, there we a lot (!) of families with multiple kids. So the huge indoor pool felt more like a very loud public swimming pool. There weren't enough lounge-chairs, kids jumping in the water and what not. The showers were full of toys and other kids-stuff and no staff around to check. Then again, this is just my personal opinion. The only real let-down is the "Steam-Room". It feels more like an oversized, steamy plastic-box (which it is) and smells rather moldy. Please do something about this. So again, for families with kids this is a great hotel!

My Husband and I recently got married at The Dunloe Hotel. The service we received was second to none. The wedding coordinators are extremely efficient. They really made the planning process go so smoothly. The atmosphere is inviting and feels very personal. I do think this is due to the well lead team. The food is delicious, the service impeccable and the staff are considerate. Special thanks to our waitress Bridie who was serving our top table. Not one of our guests went hungry! Even weeks after our wedding we are still hearing comments about how outstanding the food was at the Dunloe. If we could give a higher rating, we would! We will definitely be returning for our one year anniversary! Thanks again for everything.

We stayed here during the week and really enjoyed it. It was quiet, delicious food, comfortable, spacious (though weirdly laid out) and reasonably priced. We had a gap view room with a terrace. We could open the window and take in the fresh air and admire the view. We enjoyed it so much we came back a week later. Service is great. I really recommend a visit. I found the pool and recreation area to be a little hectic, and I really don't like the smell of the sandalwood bath products. I wish they would use their lovely products in the spa!

My sister, my daughter and I called ti this beautiful hotel on Tuesday 20th September. We had coffee and scones. Delicious!! The staff were so lovely and welcoming and told us we could view upstairs wedding venue as a friend of my daughter is getting married there. We didn't want to leave!!,

We stayed at the hotel which was very nice however I’m giving my star based on our experience with bringing a dog with us. When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted outside and I entered the hotel while my wife was escorted across a field to the dog entrance with our dog. Once we entered the hotel the doggy shower was conveniently located beside the entrance but the included cleaning products supplied was Fairy liquid. The hairdryer plug was not working either unfortunately. On the second day we got locked outside the dog entrance as the keycard reader works by NFC but out cards we’re not set up to be read by this reader - our cards had a chip. The doggy shower was also full of flower clipping from a wedding this day. On the third day we went to the front desk to see if there was a second entrance to bring our dog out as the night before there was a thunder storm and the field we had to walk across was soaked. At reception we were greeted by the general manager who offered little help except advised us to wait for the field to dry. Unfortunately this hotel is not a 5 star experience if you bring a dog with you.

We stayed recently and had a wonderful time. The staff were excellent from start to finish!! The rooms were a little outdated but clean and comfortable. Dinner was excellent and portions were great. The quality of the food and the service staff are second to none. Breakfast was also great, lots of choice and very tasty, one of the staff gave us some take away boxes to take pastries with us as we were driving to a different location that day. The setting is really nice and relaxing. We opted out of using the pool as it was pretty busy with kids but understand that it was a weekend. We will definitely stay again.

Giving 5stars here due to the location, views and facilities, Service is slow in restaurant, I must clarify- its not due to lack of staff or them not been present just a long lead to ordering and receiving food, could of been the fact a large wedding was been catered for? Otherwise this hotel is a gem, the facilities loads to do, the views amazing all staff we engaged with were excellent and very chatty at dinner and breakfast. Would 100% book again, just maybe dine out next time :/ Photos are 1 from the walk on hotel grounds and 2nd from room balcony in morning (red sky).

I stayed for 2 nights with some friends and loved it. The rooms are large and comfortable with a generous balcony and the views are gorgeous. The staff are welcoming and helpful. The bar and lobby areas are comfortable and there are lovely terraces to enjoy better weather. The grounds are stunning. We played tennis on the indoor court and had hoped to go out on the ponies but the weather was against us. Lovely pool also. As the hotel is a little outside of town we dined in the hotel both evenings. While the dining room is perfect for breakfast in that it is big and bright, it is overly big and bright for evening time and the experience is impacted by this. The food however is very good and one of the chef's kindly made a generous portion of his excellent wasabi mayo for one my friends to take with her, she was delighted! Overall, a fantastic few days, we would love to have stayed on and we will definitely return.

An incredible hotel in a gorgeous location. The staff at the dunloe were accommodating and couldn't have been more pleasant. Special mention of the stables and the staff there. They took us for a couple of horse walks, giving genuine instruction and made the whole weekend really special.

We have stayed at The Dunloe many times and we are always made feel very welcome. The hotel and its grounds are exceptional and the views speak for themselves. Jason and all his staff all go above and beyond. The food and facilities are Five Star. Do yourself a favour and book The Amazing Dunloe Hotel & Gardens you will not be disappointed!!

We just celebrated our wedding at The Dunloe last Saturday and what a day it was. I cannot thank everyone at The Dunloe enough for being so absolutely outstanding from start to finish - they could not possibly have done any more for us. Rachael, the food, the flowers, Bridie who looked after us at our table, Jason, the gardens, the honeymoon suite absolutely everything. From start to finish everything just blew me away about The Dunloe. I cannot wait to return and stay with you again, I know we will make many many more happy memories at The Dunloe.

Wonderful hotel. Amazing staff and beautiful property. We ate or drank at all of their outlets, played golf, used the spa and had an afternoon tea service. Dinner at The Pullman was exceptional. Would definitely return as long as British Airways wasn't involved.

Beautiful hotel… the common areas are very nice and open, lovely outdoor seating area… breakfast is very nice just not many healthy options. The bedrooms are little bit outdated compared with the rest of the hotel. The gardens are beautiful, perfect for a morning walk.

The hotel is very elegant and nice, but the best thing is the gardens and fields around it with cows, horses and lovely woods and the old castle. The hotel also has a nice library lobby, a pool and free horse-riding. The night portier was very helpful and the breakfast lovely. They could reduce the amount of cleaning of the rooms, its a bit-over the top. One mirror was very oddly placed in the bathroom. A bit too expensive.
