This shop can not stop surprising me. It is getting worst and worst. Today it was just the worst visit ever. Literally empty shelves, hard to get even such a basic things like sanding papers for detail sanders. No selection in wood dyes or stains. Most of the shelves in timber section empty. No tools selection at all, well they have plenty tools on display but very few available to be purchased. This shop screams for better management, organization and better supply. Terrible and very negative customer experience. The only good thing was Rebecca at the till, as she was kind and smiley. How to buy locally when shops are so badly stocked. 2 years later there is a small improvement but still for building, renovation etc it is very poor. No small plasterboards for ages now, paints you can have any as long as it is Magnolia. Poor selection of tool accessories. In simple words, there is a need for serious change in management to look after this store as there is so much opportunity wasted. Weekenders who wish to do some DIY would visit this place of they would be able to purchase stuff that fits in the cars rather than waiting for deliveries.

What's not to like about this store always has what you are looking for, got some ready made cement very good value and product. When looking for this store on line put in B&Q and not B and Q you will find the right store straight away. It's a large store with lots of DIY and every day home building and trades materials also great gardening section. the store is kept in very good condition. Staff are very helpful especially if you have no idea of what is needed or where the product is located for your project, ask the staff and they will be happy to help when available.

It was our first visit to this outlet of B&Q. Its pretty big and has a lot of sections for various household stuff, tools, gardening options & decorations. We were pleased with the service and the products available. We were also looking for sheds & found what we were looking for. A good first experience.

Customer service extremely poor based on visit on 25/10/2023. Effectively accused me of stealing by giving my business partner within same company an image of the company tradepoint card to do an errand.

Everything good except staff. They are living in own world. 95% of my visits there i can not get enough information about products. No cooperation with customers. Why you are asking me *should know,*. Men, 41

I went in to look for a paint for my daughters bedroom, I found the staff helpful and nice. I didn't find the colour I was looking for, so the lady at the valspar counter mixed the exact colour I needed. I even got to add sparkle! Very good quality paint. Easy to apply. I will be back for some more paint soon. Thank you for your help and advice.

The prices are going sky high, but there is a great selection.

Staff extremely rude at till when my colleague let me use his trade point card. If you work as a trader and need supplies try other stores this one makes operating your business very difficult due to bad policy's and even worse staff enforcing those policies. Very disappointed.

We had an amazing experience with Sidnei from the Kitchen design department. Very professional and considerate. Great advice and very much concerned with our needs. The product is good and we are happy with it, but the service was outstanding. Highly recommend.

Poor service to be honest. You pay for items to be delivered and if they are on the website as in stock they should be delivered. This crowd is not updating their stock system to accurately say what’s in stock. Second time I’ve ordered from them and things missing again saying they are not in stock on delivery (I said it might just be a once off first time I ordered but apparently this is just their routine system management). If they are not in stock it should be on the website. Not ordering from them again. Dishonest.

The assistants at the checkouts are always lovely. One lady in particular went out of her way to help us out to get signed up to the B&Q club online as there was a special discount price as well as a voucher which saved us €15 on our purchase. We also had to get some wood cut to size here which is great free service for small cuts.

Great selection of paints, including an incredible clearance area!! Also got wooden boards cut to size, so it’s the perfect one-stop-shop for all your DIY needs. Also the staff are very helpful and friendly!! Great value all together!

Just left here. Needed help with garden fencing. Walked around for a little while, found someone to ask for help, wasnt his area so he called someone on his headset and told me to go Out to the garden centre and someone will be out now. Waited over 10mins, have 2 small kids with me who started getting cold so instead of waiting any longer we just left. Was hoping to spend around €1200 here today, but will have to go elsewhere

Grand spot for emergency DIY needs but it's a bit pricey. Staff are really nice and helpful. Signed up for the club card and saved €30 over two days. Plants are reasonably priced and there are 3 for 2 offers as well. Tons of parking and ready to access.

Very cranky worker didn't want to help me or talk. Always find the gang on the floor very rude and unhelpful,you'd swear it's a hard job. The till operators however are always very nice and helpful.

I waited two weeks for the order. The door is too small. I returned it. 20 days have passed. The money is not in the account The service is very poor, they even ignore the customer, I do not recommend avoiding this store

Friendly, helpful staff in Mahon store but unfortunately the quality of the paint they mix is really really poor. Nothing but problems with paint blistering and peeling off easily. Don’t waste your money and time. (Used on a smooth, dry, clean wall that was always easy to paint).
