Great American style restaurant in the middle of Kilkenny. The portions are so big and the food tastes amazing. They have Corona on tap, which I've never seen in Ireland before. I recommend the ribs. They are beautiful ❤️ The staff was great and very fast too. The place is also kid's friendly. Loved it

Exceptional service and wonderfully clean and stylish bar/restaurant. I tried their jambalaya and I was very happy with it. Outstanding jambalaya or jambalaya-inspired dishes aren’t very common in Ireland in my view so I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious theirs was. My jambalaya had a lovely smokiness to it and all the meats were well-seasoned and beautifully cooked – from the crawfish to the Andouille sausages. The heat and spiciness was also just right. We revisited this place and the atmosphere was buzzing and lively.

Kilkenny has so much to offer. The place is big and really well set up. The outside area is fabulous. Unfortunately The food was a let down, especially the tequila prawns. I missed Mexican flavours.... My parmasan sweet potato fries were fab. And I loved Guinness 00. The server was friendly and interactive. I would recommend, that senior member of staff would check the tables. We were asked if we enjoyed our dinner when they were clearing our table, but it was a little bit too late. I hope my opinion won't be taken as a nagative review. I believe, that constructive criticism helps to improve.

One of the busiest places in Kilkenny, has a good variety in the menu from burgers to steak and chicken and drinks.. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and wings were really good for starters. It has different areas to sit so you better be familiar with the place to pick your favorite side.

Nice food which was reasonably enough priced in the current climate. Staff were good and service was quick. Great beer and whiskey selection. Would recommend.

Americans who are used to GOOD BBQ: Save yourself the hassle and skip this place. First off, the service was GREAT. Servers and hosts were all very friendly and attentive. I can say nothing bad about the waitstaff at all - they were lovely! The food though. Oy....DRIEST. MEAT. EVER. Smoked meats should be tender and juicy and flavorful and falling off the bone. The pulled pork and the brisket were both SO dry that I had to douse them in sauce to get down the little I ate. My husband's steak was also tough and dry. The ribs were good though!! THOSE were juicy and cooked properly. My daughters got salads. The Cobb salad had lots of Cobb ingredients but maybe 5 leaves of lettuce. Weird The macaroni and cheese looked like Kraft but actually had LESS flavor. Americans - skip this and get your BBQ at home! It's not what you're looking for.

Myself and my partner went to Paris Texas this evening for for dinner. It was an absolutely fabulous restaurant. The menu choice was fantastic with something for everyone. I went for a well done steak and my partner went for the mixed platter. The mixed platter was divine. My steak was a little on the rarer side so I sent it back but it came back a little bit underdone for me. We unfortunately couldn’t hang around as we were in a rush and were not able to allow the chefs another chance to rectify it again but the most understanding and apologetic floor man noticed and was so generous to remove it from our bill. We were not expecting such a gesture! We will be back at Paris Texas as there is so much more for us to try out! Highly Recommend!

Steak house, but it has lots of options in the menu, american,mexican and irish dishes. Well decorated place, pub and restaurant vibes. It can be €€ - €€€ depending how much food you want to try. The food ia very well done and tasty, it can't go wrong. The Tortillas and sauces were the most flavoured I ever tried (I recommend 👌) The dessert was okay. Very busy after 17:00

Loved this place which is dedicated to a movie called Paris, Texas, a place I've actually been to on a trip or two to Houston. It's American menu was refreshing break from the Irish food. I had the Reuben, first time I'd seen corn beef on a menu as it is not a traditional Irish dish there. Plus Reubens are my favorite sandwich. It was delicious. Nice corn beef, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese and their own homemade thousand Island dressing which every one at the table agreed was delicious. My niece had a nice big bowl of seafood chowder. Large pieces of seafood, shrimp, clams and mussels, in a creamy broth and two nice size Irish brown bread. She loved it! Her husband had a Santa Fe dish and that too looked good, smelled delicious and tasted a bit like home. An unexpected treat.

First time in here really nice food highly recommend.

Their fried chicken is just chicken strips so don’t bother. They have Hoegaarden beer on tap which was a refreshing change from the monotony of identical beers almost every pub in Ireland serves. Bartenders were nice, place look pretty cool.

Went in and was seated straight away. I had the vegetarian nachos and they were the nicest nachos I've ever had before and I would go back just for them. The staff were lovely and helpful and the price was very reasonable for the quality and size of the portions.

Food was OK but definitely nothing special but quite expensive,chips were more like McDonald's. Poor selection of draft beers, no Hineken or Carlsberg but alternative at about €1 more expensive. On a positive very friendly and professional service and a beautiful place.

A really great bar....Great food and a lovely atmosphere. I was there on a Monday night and there was a good crowd there. The staff are amazing and really attentive, they really stand out when compared to other restaurants. The Mexican food here is really nice bit not as spicy as Mexican food usually is which is good even though, I like spicy food every now and then. Defo a must visit when in Kilkenny. Its a bit on the pricey side bit it is well worth it:)

Centrally located in Kilkenny. It was packed with tourists. The service was nice and efficient. The prices were reasonable and the food was decent and good. We ordered: 3*New England Chowder: pretty good, I never had a bad chowder in Ireland. 4*PT mushrooms-Chestnut Mushrooms stuffed with spinach and goats cheese in a garlic and herb crust served with chipotle sauce: crispy and flavorful. 3* Buffalo blue chicken burger: per normal

Not good. Whilst the food was ok, the service was ridiculously slow. When we were shown to our table we were told that we were to be finished in 1 hour and 40 minutes due to covid 19 regulations. After waiting 30 minutes for our starter to arrive, this was never going to be the case. We continued to experience ridiculously waiting time throughout the evening and were still waiting for a dessert menu 2 hours after arriving. Whilst I appreciate that these are difficult times at the moment, there were fewer customers than usual yet the service was very bad with lots of staff just wandering around. With a €230 bill the food was good but let down by service.

Took a staycation, and decided to try Paris Texas. The food wasn't great, my partners rice was so under cooked it was hard. Im not one to complain but it wasn't eatable. When they brought out the second portion it was also under cooked!!!! The waitresses were quite rude, i understand we have to adhere to 1hr 45min or whatever, we asked for a drink after food and they came out with the drinks and bill without even asking if we wanted the bill when others were seating at tables much longer than us, never bothered asking how was the food etc..... I defo wont be going back there, not as friendly as it seems! however the venue is stunning

Atmosphere scored a 3 simply because it was a Tuesday night and was very quiet. The food was excellent, we had a 3 x mixed bbq and crispy chicken. The mixed bbq was 1/2 pork rib, prawns and brisket. For sides we had mash and mac n cheese. For me the meat on the bbq was a tad too charcoal-ie in taste. But that is not a negative comment, I really enjoyed the food. I'm probably just not used to bbq food. Staff were friendly and service was good with no delays. I've had the jambalaya here before also and that was excellent. Would recommend Paris Texas

Very busy and popular. Burgers, salads and wraps but quite well executed and tasty. Good gluten free options and very happy to deal with all sorts of people with special requirements and needs.

Lovely decor and atmosphere. Staff were efficient and friendly. The food wasn't as nice as the menu promised unfortunately. The burger was a dry but grand. The brownie was so dry, cold and stale that I was very disappointed. I should have complained really. It's great that they offer such a good range of gluten free food (we had several in our party), but I wish that all their food lived up to the reputation!

Drinks were great, food was incredible and the staff were nice and friendly. I asked for a drink that had a grape garnish and she said they didn't have the garnish, so I said no problem and said the drink is okay without but I couldn't order it that way, I had to get a different drink which was disappointing but understandable ❤️

Decent food, nothing bad but sure nothing out of ordinary. Can’t remember any Mediterranean or hot country that would allow shorts on the waiters indoor. Even Hooters have an uniform in showing body parts to customers, not random what you have at home… Bringing me cocktails in the hand like the drunk teen on the podium, not hygienic, not nice to see, definitely not service proportional to prices. Buy a tray and some adult pants.

Below average, at best. The nachos and jambalaya were so-so. The brisket sandwich was absolutely awful. Tasted of vomit. Staff were nice and the restaurant is well decorated, but food really lets it dow.

Had our first meal out since lockdown, all I can say is how impressed we were with covid adherence, such professional staff & excellent food. We were served so promptly, had 4 drinks with our meal (which is the usual irish thing!) & left with 5 minutes left before the recommended time limit. We were happy customers leaving. Well done ?

Visited on the 4th of July with my husband. Extremely impressed with the efficiency, safety and quality of service during the COVID/social distancing requirements. Not only did you adhere to these guidelines but it in no way affected the social Experience and enjoyment of going out for a meal. The staff were kind and helpful and explained their process. The food was exceptional. My husband and I require gluten free meals and are usually disheartened when going our for meals elsewhere due to a lack of options however we were delighted to find that most of your meals can be made gluten free. Not only this but the meals we had were delicious!!! We cannot wait to return.

Great bar/restaurant located in the centre of Kilkenny town. Returning customer due to a recommendation from a work colleague. Went here again today and the food was absolutely top notch. The customer service honestly couldn't have being bettered either as the waiters were extremely attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. Would highly recommended this to anyone looking for a nice classy pub/sports bar and possibly interested in some really tasty food. This bar looks great as a sports bar and shows regular popular sports.

My first night out with my fiancee since the Corona virus hit Ireland. We went to Paris Texas bar and restaurant the food was lovely and the few pints of Guinness were brilliant . My fiancee had some cocktails. She said they were fabulous. It was comforting to see the staff taking all the necessary precautions, like wearing face shields, constantly disinfecting surfaces and ensuring social distancing. This made us feeling safe in these times. Highly recommended! Would recommend to book in advance, as it is a very popular venue locals and tourists alike.

Fab food

Decided to go here because I heard good reviews from it. One of many mistakes from the night. I felt every one was a bit springy and unnatural. Food wasn't the best. When we ordered brownies we had to ask for a spoon, just silly things.

Nevermind no taste, the burgers had no baps. Now that we are in the theme of cutting corners, let's talk cutlery, or the lack of. We found ourselves wining and dining with no 69'ing with our finger food. It hurt to rate this one star as the only thing to shine was the forehead of the pretty little thing behind the till.

The manager was extremely ignorant and dismissive.

The venue is fabulous, with a mixture of relaxed chic. Our food was lovely, I ordered a rack of ribs to start and the burger for main and my boyfriend ordered the chowder to start and the mixed meat platter with steak tips, pulled pork with creamy mash, onion fritters and mac N cheese. My meal was fabulous, very big portion and a very tasty burger. My boyfriend's chowder was nice with an added taste of bacon and his meat platter was very good but a lot of food, which is a good complaint. ??

Went to Paris Texas on Saturday 1st August and had a delicious lunch, served by friendly efficient staff. The whole place was spotless, all guidelines adhered to and safety measures in place. Their usual high standards taken up a notch by doing the hard work to promote their business in these challenging times. Other bar owners take note. Continued success to all involved. Amazing food and service as usual always enjoyed here????

Visited on the 5th of August with my husband. We were both very impressed with the venue, staff and quality of service during these unprecedented times and still adhering to social distancing. Totally enjoyed the ambience of the venue. There was plenty of choice on both food and drinks menu and our waitress was very knowledgable of both. The food presentation was lovely with very good sized portions. Definitely will be a returning customer as there was so many starters and mains that I want to try.
