Rinuccini’s is the classical Italian restaurant in the heart of Kilkenny, with a national reputation as the place to go when you visit this city. It’s a beautiful setting, with truly exceptional customer service from the moment you enter til your last bite. The food is really, really nice, and while it didn’t leave us stunned, it was certainly all cooked well, with an artistic and creative flair that showed they really care about food. The only downside to the experience were the sides which were quite expensive. €7 for two pieces of garlic bread, and €7 for some deep fried broccoli (which I’m still not sure about!) is very pricey, all things considered. But, hey, just don’t order them when you visit and you won’t feel ripped off! all in all, a nice experience and one to check out!!

Amazing experience and food was superb, a bit upsetting there was no pasta dishes on the menu aside from lasagna. Pricing isn't too expensive either! We will be back

Rinuccini's is truly a gem of Kilkenny dining. Myself and my husband have dined here for almost 20 years and we can both say it is without a doubt our favourite restaurant. The warm welcome, efficient and professional service to each and every sumptuous course. A real Authentic Italian vibe to the restaurant from the decor to the delicious menu. We will be back for many more enjoyable meals and memories.

Photos aren't great but the food was excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful. Black squid ink risotto is really good. Highly recommend a visit here. Some of the menu options are on the expensive side but what you get justifies the price.

The food was pretty good although the service could improve. They had to make it a point that I poured the water into the stemware when there were tumblers. What they need to know is that they present themselves as a high class restaurant and that water is poured into stemware to n such restaurants. Unneeded comment. Also the wait staff needs to understand the food and wine pairings better especially for what they are charging. Also be more accommodating to those that cannot order from the fixed menu sometimes people have dietary restrictions.

This is a top restaurant to eat. The food is of excellent quality and of very high standard. The staff are very nice here and the menu is varied. I would highly recommend eating here if you want a fancy restaurant. This is not for the budget tourist. It is above average prices here however you get excellent quality food here with excellent service.

I have been here a couple of times now and as always it was amazing. A beautiful restaurant with super friendly and knowledgeable staff. The service was top notch and the food was fab. The fried calamari was probably the best I have ever tasted !! If you are in Kilkenny (actually even if you aren't it's worth the drive) definitely try it ... I would advise booking as it was pretty busy. Authentic Italian dining at its best

This is an award winning restaurant in the heart of Kilkenny. It’s highly recommended and for good reason. It’s real Italian restaurant. Nice, cozy and the service is top tier. A little on the expensive side as expected. Perfect for dates, family dinners and catch-ups.

Visited with my girlfriend for a romantic late Valentine's meal. The setting was beautiful and larger than we expected with some cool views of the wine cellar!! :) We were so impressed with our starters I felt like I was back in Firenze, where we first met. Our servers were so attentive we could not have asked for more, we will be back.

Had a wonderful 3-course meal, which the waiter helped me decide what to get. The crostini was absolutely amazing. The ravioli was different. Not my favorite but still good. I've never had ravioli that had a dry inside; it was heavily packed with spinach. And it tasted very much like blue cheese despite it using gorgonzola (which the waiter warned me on). The apple tart was phenomenal. I think some background music would have put the ambiance over the top!

The vibe is superb and the staff is friendly. Food is well presented, however, all are a bit too salty, which covers the real taste of the dishes. Not bad overall.

Great restaurant for all occasions: family, romantic, travel. The food is super tasty, the staff is extra friendly, great location in front of the castle and the decoration is super cozy.

Phenomenal service & food with great value. Take all the recommendations they offer. We did 1 2-course & 1 3-course meal (known for the duck) which was perfect for a couple with a 1 glass & a bottle of wine. There’s a reason this is a Top 10 restaurant in Ireland. Don’t miss it.

Amazing food and service. I would definitely recommend call ahead seating. The food was more authentic Italian than anything I've had before. Excellent all around!!!!
