Absolutely shocking service waited 30mins for 2 coffees ended up walking out without them. I would say it’s the worst service I’ve came across, they even had a girl standing at the door when we were leaving turning people away because they couldn’t deal with queue which to be honest was only about 20 people

Waited 29 minutes for my breakfast . would have liked the staff to have announced there was an issue than leave me standing there waiting. Once the food arrived it was luke warm. Will never go back.

Burger thrown together. I ordered the new stake burger. There was so little sauce I couldn't taste it. Chips cold despite a very long queue and very long wait time! Won't be visiting there again! Management need to sort this place out!!! Lots of bad reviews.

Had to pop in and get refreshing frappe as it was warm outside and had to wait for someone. Nice big premises and drive trough. Wasn't too many people so service was really fast and friendly. Nice and comfy seats and lovely view from the window. Would gladly visit again.

Excellent fast service and friendly staff. If you're American you'll definitely notice a lot of different options in sandwiches as well as coffees. In one area they have iPads to use too which is totally different from anything we would have at our McDonald's restaurants. Also note that if you want to do a value meal most are not available at the kiosk you'll have to go up to the counter. Food was hot and good.

So, so bad. The wait was way too long. The food was so bad and the staff were not friendly or helpful. The burger was slapped together and very messy, there was chunks of lettuce in the burger. No straws the drinks. Went up to the till and the staff acted like I was bothering her for her doing her job. Yeah just the worst McDonalds I’ve been to

The worst McDonald's in Ireland. Drive through shockingly slow. I went in this morning just for coffee and a hash brown thinking the service inside would be better!!!!! Worse. Staff ignoring you. I was stuck for time and now late for an important appointment. I will never go there again. Appalling service.

🤔 2:37pm monday afternoon . Busy place at this time. Waited for seating found seating ordered food family of 4. Waiting 12 minutes for my order to be called out. food cold only two staff on the floor that were very nice to talk to and help me with my order and about 10 behind the counter serving and Shouting number. Overall premises messy and disorganised.Toilets absolutely filthy. Missing seating, dirty toilets. Urinals overflowing on to ground. Cleaning sheets signed up till 4:30 that day. I wasn't happy with the over all service.

We went to the drive thru, although the staff were friendly, the burgers were only barely warm, there was no curry sauce for the nuggets and out of 4 times I've been here this was the third time there was no chocolate milkshakes. Outside the bins were over flowing. Standards are poor.

Absolute Joke of a place, 45 min wait after ordering food and ended up just leaving. Bunch of halfwits had no clue how to run a supposedly fast food restaurant jumping from one order to another with apparently no system in place. Staff didn’t look too busy though strolling around behind the counter . Definitely an air of we can’t be arsed. Avoid …..

Took 25 minutes to deliver our food despite only a few people ahead of us. Lots of staff but all seemed very disorganised. Food was wrong when it arrived and had to wait even longer for the correct food. Poor overall.

Called in yesterday evening with a friend and the first thing you notice when you walk in is how cold the place is,we odered and while waiting noticed how many fries were boxed up, the racks were full which is not a good sign, I knew when our fries arrived that they would be cold, had to send them back, also the nuggets were barely warm. And no stirrer for the coffee,

Definitely not fast food. Waited over 40 minutes for one chicken selects meal. Staff just can’t cope with all the orders coming in definitely won’t be back.

I would have rated you more stars but those toilets were disgusting. I'm from south africa and even our mcd are fresh and clean at all times, considering nothing else works or is clean in terms of our society.

This a lovely clean place to eat and sit down while you do that. There is always a lot of people and cars qued up here waiting for service. They have a order machine inside the door this is very handy with children as they don't waiting. Staff are very friendly and helpful they are very good with children keeping occupied while they wait. Toilets are wheelchair friendly and child friendly as well. There is a very big parking space out side lots of wheelchair parking spaces mother and baby spaces. Lively views through the windows.

I have gone through the drive through many times and the sit-in option. If ordering any item on the menu minus an item on it, such as a quarter pounder with just cheese my advice is to check it at the window to check it's correct. I ordered a mcchicken sandwich meal on one occasion and was given a quarter pounder. I didn't realise until I parked up to eat. The queue was too big to go back. On another occasion sitting in, we had a party of 8-10 people and one of the orders wasn't in the order when it was ready. By the time that person had got their meal the other were half eaten and some even finished. Whilst busy, it's understandable that mistakes can be made. What I think is that staff should be expected to slow down to make sure orders are 100% correct before putting them out. Older staff are brilliant in there, can't be faulted. Food is lovely also when got right

Inside is always flirty. Tables dirty, bins over flowing in the restaurant and car park. They constantly make mistakes with orders or flat out forget half the items. Last week I spent 10-15 min waiting for a coffee in the drive thru. When I finally received it, it was cold and was obviously sitting there long before I even ordered it. And now tonight they never put the chips or paid dips into my "meal". It's beyond a joke at this stage and has been a constant issue the last year or so. No wonder people are calling it "Muckdonalds"

Great place for quick eats with variety options from beef, chicken and vegan. Has drive thru option and amenities for child entertainment. They make the fastest food delivery and provides courteous service.

I would like to share my recent experience at McDonald's, which, unfortunately, left much to be desired. During my visit, I ordered coffee, expecting to receive a fresh and aromatic drink. However, my expectations were shattered when the coffee I was served turned out to be more like hot water with milk than real coffee.This experience was not only disappointing but also raised questions about the quality of service and products offered at McDonald's. As a loyal customer, I expect a high level of quality and service from a major chain like McDonald's. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling disappointed and dissatisfied.I hope that McDonald's takes note of this review and takes the necessary steps to improve the quality of their drinks and service. Consumers expect and deserve better, and I hope that in the future, my experience at McDonald's will be more pleasant and satisfactory.

Avis: be very careful because I was ripped off here. They charged me twice for a menu without me noticing. They didn't tell me anything and they haven't refunded my money.

Good food, but for me burgers are small. Why no tips jug?

Some excellent staff especially the manager as she will go out of her way everytime to make sure your happy with your visit there.

A late night (1am) coffee stop to discuss our tennis defeat 🙃...still the coffee was good and reasonably priced, staff were excellent and very polite...

Drive thru waited such along times then food comes out cold.service bad but staff friendly but food is shocking.i have been to other mcdonalds but never as bad as kilkenny.wont ever be recommending it

This McDonalds is by far the worst service on a drive Thru I have had the misfortune to experience , if It was not on my direct drive to work I would not use it . I stop for a reugular black coffee 5 days a week . 4 occassions I have been given the wrong order , most mornings you are kept waiting in the line of cars while they get other orders together instead of asking customers to wait in the holding area , the staff are young and all badly trained and spend most of the time chatting to each other , Managers dont seem to take on board that you should not be waiting for lenghts of time at the order point . I have never seen a queue so why do you have to wait so long ? answer is simple , poor service

I ordered in drive through and was asked to wait in packing bay, 15 minutes later I went in see where my food was and waited another 10 minutes to get my food. Not good enough. So not impressed McDonald's.

Poor experience there today. Management really need to get someone strong overseeing the kitchen/serving area. People literally waiting 30 mins at the counter for food being told its coming its coming. They had to root a customers receipt out if the bin after they asked where it went, heard the staff say it was ordered 33 mins ago. 5 different orders sitting on the counter because people didnt come up after the number was called and staff just walked away. Ill never use this one again.

They do not have everything that they offer on the screen. The waiting time is big, around 20 minutes on Sunday after 6pm and the meat is cold and undercooked. Clients are patient but there are issues getting correct order after the wait.

This is by far the best McDonalds there is out there, from thailand, italy, croatia, ireland, non of them were as close as good as this one is, the quality is amazing, food is always top top top

Order mixed up and not correct. Missing items missing sauce , not even straws for drinks as we took away this was issue and not first time . No please and thank you from staff and food was cold ,eaten in car park. So it not as,if we went miles

Very busy Saturday lunch time and when orders are called and not collected straight away they are left on the counter and can cause confusion with someone else taking part of our order in error. Other than that food was delicious as it has always been.

Took a long time to place order, huge volume of cars in drive thru. Eventually got to pickup window to be given our order plus another one. Tried to explain to staff the other bag wasn't ours, he didn't understand and had to bring another staff member over. Kilkenny really needs another McDonald's to service the demand.

Nice McDonald's, it was quite busy but still clean and tidy. Good parking here and the restaurant was a good size with plenty of seating. Also play area for kids.

This was my best experience in a McDonald's in a long time. Arrived at lunch time, place was extremely busy. They had 4 or 5 workers bringing orders to the collection point. They were very efficient. If I was in my local Mcds I know it would be a long wait, but not here. Was about 10 orders ahead of mine, still took less than 3 minutes for my order to arrive. Everything was correct, everything was fresh and hot.

Ah I love to eat from McDonald’s but online ordering from this branch particularly brings a lot of hassle as they mostly (min 5-6 times in last 6 months) mess up drinks ( either don’t receive them as per the order or the wrong drinks are sent). Prefer to go in and eat rather ordering. Hopefully they improve their service in future.

Visited last Saturday night. We waited ages for food, the place was filthy although there was a lovely girl trying to clean up could clearly do with more cleaning staff. I even had to clean the table. The food was cold , missing a few items, coffee was so full in the cup you couldn’t add milk but it didn’t matter as the coffee was cold. Staff not that helpful. We won’t be returning.

The staff was really nice and thoughtful. A bit chilly inside though, might want to tune down the AC 😬
