The 2 stars is literally just for the bar staff who where very understanding and helping , we stayed here for 2 nights (never again) no atmosphere, the hotel seemingly booked out , but for other reasons , the food was un edible we sent it back and got a refund , the breakfast was mediocre , we had to go out the second night to Kilkenny town for food and drinks , and skipped our breakfast the second morning , kids running around screaming day and night , fire exits all open all through the night , no AC ,

We explained to the staff about our previous disappointment in a hotel we were to stay in and from the minute we arrived at Spring Hill court hotel we were well looked after. We were given complementary drinks and we were seated straight away for dinner. We stayed for 2 nights and we had the best time ever. We will be most definitely retiring

Booked 1 night with 2 adults, 2 small kids. Sunday of Easter Bank Holiday. Just thought the bar food & option of Only Budweiser or Coors for bottled beer was very poor for a hotel. No music in the bar. No atmosphere. Wouldn't entice me to book again. Room was ok. Breakfast was nice and pool nice.

I don't feel that the quality or service was there. It's not appealing to see refugees washing and cleaning their expensive cars outside of the hotel. Also, those rooms that were occupied are beginning to resemble a getto.

For the most part it was a nice stay.. Room was cosy & clean enough! The staff during the night were friendly & accommodating, the staff the next morning were very pleasant & friendly except who I'm assuming is some sort of "manager" called Anita, she was very rude & and wrongly accused me of breaking a hotel policy. When she realised she was wrong then tried to lie & continued being obnoxious! An absolute cow to say the least! Would never stay here again & even left early! The rest of the staff were accommodating & very pleasant

I booked a room for the night of 12 November 2022 on the 2 July 2022. Received a confirmation of the booking via Email the same day. I phoned today to update my booking to be told by a very rude reception lady that my booking had been cancelled in July. This cancellation was done by them with no notice to me at all. Had I not phoned I would have arrived to no room available. Totally unprofessional and certainly not an establishment I will ever want to stay at. As for the totally unapologetic lady who dealt with my call today the less said the better!!!

Call 8n for a carvery dinner if I'm in the office in Kilkenny, hits the spot every time and is one of my favourites

Stopped at the Paddocks for lunch while heading back to Dublin on the M9. The Carvery at the Paddocks is exceptional with great variety, fast friendly service and value for money. I opted to eat outside as the weather was good. Definitely worth taking the 12 minute detour off the M9.

The Hotel staff absolutely gorgeous and attractive. Rooms are so cozy and comfortable with lovely decorations. The chefs are absolutely out of this world, they cooked for us a separate meal every day of our staying as we are Muslims. Guys at the SPA are also so nice, they give hats, towels, and goggles for free. Thank you Springhill I will never forget this staying.

Attended for medical app in the upstairs function rooms. I have mobilty issues. Need rollator and walking stick for limited mobilty. The hotel as no lift and required walking aids to be carried upstairs. Not sure who most annoyed with the health company for using this hotel without checking facilities or a hotel in 2023 is not wheelchair/mobilty friendly. No atmosphere and toilets very untidy, floors wet, dispensers empty so didn't stay for our planned lunch after appointment.

The service here is fantastic. Great food, and they accommodated 20 of us. We appreciate you guys. Thanks for the great lunch!

Staff very extremely polite and helpful Rooms were a little dated in some aspects and due to our room location it was a little noise with passing footfall. Location is on the outskirts of Kilkenny so easy to access if travelling by car, a little further walk from the town centre.

Stayed here during the Easter holidays staff very kid orientated which was nice and also very friendly. Service the 1st day was great. The 2nd day we sat at the table for over 30 minutes and no one approched us even though it wasn't busy. We decided to go elsewhere to eat. that night we had pre paid for dinner. service was appalling. We waited 40 minutes for mains to come out we had to ask what was hold up. 2 kids meals were forgotten and we were told we never ordered them which we had. My meal was wrong and so was my sons order. The rooms are very small. We had a room with shower only/wet room. The floor was very slippery and dangerous my four year old slipped and hurt himself even after me drying the floor they were still very slippery. Pool area is good and playground nice also. Day 1 service was amazing day 2 not so great. Most staff are friendly the things that could improve are the bathroom floors are very slippy, shower pressure not great more like a mist very hard to wash shampoo out of hair not sure If all showers are like this also room was really small. Another thing I was unhappy about my son left his brand new nintendo switch game on the table which was being cleared as we left. I went back one of the staff said he had seen it and checked the lost property but was not there anymore and was never returned to us. When I asked the member of staff who had cleared the table had he seen it he acted very suspiciously and walked off

Staff very friendly. Swimming pool clean. Just don't go during summer because they don't have A/C. We had to open the windows which didn't let us have some privacy. It wasn't enough and we had kids, so they couldn't sleep because of the heat and we had to leave in the middle of the night and nobody was at the front desk for us to handle the cards or offer some support. Very disappointing.

Stayed with a friend for a lovely two night break on the June Bank Hol. Hotel recently done up .Every member of staff we dealt with were super friendly and helpful especially the reception staff and manager. Breakfast team were so welcoming. Leisure centre good also. Corridors quiet at night too.We both said we'd definitely come back and recommend it to a friend. Thanks a mil!

Staff is absolutely fantastic. Lydia at the front desk is so helpful. Everyone is so, so helpful and positive. Many Ukrainians staying in the Hotel and the entire staff is compassionate and kind towards the Ukrainians who obviously are going through a difficult time. A great representation of what people of Ireland are towards others. The restaurant staff is exactly the same. Helpful and always doing it with a small on their faces. I highly recommend this hotel.

EXCELLENT STAFF - Myself and a large group of family members from Manchester recently came to Kilkenny for a family party. Firstly, I'd just like to say, the staff were excellent at the Springhill Court Hotel, they couldn't do enough for us all. On our first night arriving there was a concert happening in the hotel with large crowds attending, but we can honestly say, this didn't impact on us at all. We were always prioritised by the staff. The food was delicious and plentiful with every meal we had, breakfast, lunch and dinner. The cleanliness of the hotel was fantastic including rooms, social areas, restaurant/bar, and the pool too which is another added bonus as we had children with us so was great entertainment. I'd defiantly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kilkenny. It was close to all the local amenities, and only 1 1/2 hours drive from Dublin Airport. The only point i'd make is the plug sockets in the rooms were all very randomly placed so made charging phones, and electricals a little awkward, but this was so minor and didn't really impact on our stay thank you for accommodatinga lovely trip away

I was at a wedding in this hotel back in November, I have been to a lot of weddings but my god, the Springhill Court go above and beyond! My friends who were married there have nothing but amazing things to say about the wedding coordinator and staff and so do I. Fantastic venue, beautiful staff, amazing food! I would stay there again, hands down, the experience speaks for itself. Thank you to everyone I encountered there!

This hotel is so nice, and the staff are so nice. We came over from England for a surprise 70th there was 20 of us staying for 4 nights. The rooms were cleaned each day and beds made and fresh towels The food was nice and fresh vegetables, the bar was open till we went to bed at 2am. The only thing is the bath rooms could do with a update and just have a walk in shower, maybe just keep one room for people that like bath But this day and age it’s all about power showers and walk in. The thing is my brother in law only has one good leg and carn’t get his leg over the edge of the bath. But all in all we will be going back in September and this time I will use the swimming baths, The hotel is set in a lovely location nice quiet place

We were a group of eight. We were well looked after. The staff are friendly and accommodated and facilitated our quirkiness. I particularly enjoyed the leisure centre. The breakfast was good though busy enough as we used peak time as we got great value out of the pool and the bed!

I visited with a friend. Staff were friendly and helpful. He got beef carvery which he said was lovely. I got a hot chocolate which unfortunately wasn't great. It only from a machine, glass nowhere near filled to the top, was on the cold side and taste not great which was disappointing. Also, a number of hotel patrons were sitting in the lobby area with no mask on which I didn't like personally. They weren't eating or drinking. Maybe I'm wrong but I thought it was compulsory to wear one. I made sure to wear mine after I finished my drink.
