Stopped off here on our way back to Dublin from Waterford and it was one of the best brunch spots I've been to in Ireland. Absolutely delicious food, great variety on the menu and friendly service. An absolute gem that I'll definitely be returning back to

Cannot wait to return. The food was delish. Surprisingly quiet when we went, tried before but was too busy. Good sign. Staff friendly and they even have a doggy corner.

Delicious (even if very expensive) brunch here. Good staff and atmosphere too and excellent idea having a bakery directly across the road where you can wait for your table in warmth. Slight criticisms are 1. The price - I get that prices are rising across the globe but €40+ for brunch for two people is really far too expensive. Maybe a simple breakfast option would be good? 2. Rush rush rush - because this place is so busy and popular you get a slight feeling of being rushed out so they can get the next people in.

Delicious! I highly recommend stopping here the food was the best we have had in Ireland so far! I would eat the Summer Salad everyday if I could, too bad we were only in Kilkenny for the day :(

I am SO glad we came here. The food was absolutely wildly delicious! The plates are huge so come hungry and expect to be lured by the desserts.. I went for the Turkish eggs and they were gloriously accompanied by hummus, yoghurt dip, greens and pomegranate served with wedges of house sourdough perfect for mopping. We will be back! p.s such friendly staff and it's got a dog friendly section!

Absolutely stunning food. Huge value in terms of portions. The food is inventive and I loved the Polish flair throughout the dishes but still using the best of local ingredients. Already plotting my next visit. The bakery across the road is also 💯 worth the visit and the queue.

This is a great modern bistro. There are choices of flavors around the world on the menu, Korean fried chicken, polish stew, Philippine style pork belly, just to name a few. The dishes we ordered were creative and tasty. The staff were friendly.

Highly recommend this place. Used the deli a few times for coffee and baked goods. Excellent. Recently had a few midweek breakfasts and was very impressed, unlimited coffee (any coffee) was a nice touch. Our little dog also loved it. She was given a very big welcome and even a little treat.

Food is to die for. I got the banoffee french toast with a chai latte for breakfast here and it was gorgeous. I go to the bakery on my lunch breaks sometimes too and the meringues are so good. I cant recommend this place more to anyone in kilkenny

First time to try this place, it definitely wont be the last. Great coffee with unlimited refill with breakfast, cappuccino was perfectly proportioned. Food was super delicious 🤤 we had the Eggs Benny with the Irish smoked salmon, the eggs were perfect and very soft, I loved adding those seeds to the side salad, we also tried the Highbank Orchards Cinnamon Roll French Toast simply perfection👌🏼 Portions were great, This place is highly recommended. Edit: after trying this place a couple of times its my all time favorite breakfast place😋

Maybe best nonconlvential breakfast I ever had. Nice big portions in hipster/millennial atmosphere. Brave mixing of flavours that hit the spot! Wouldn’t know for it that my wife doesn’t have tik tok profile. Also dog friendly what I really respect.

This place is absolutely amazing and packed. They have a bakery and make their own bread. The food is amazing and service first class. Must book before you visit. Dog are allowed at the back of the restaurant.

A must go place! It's difficult to chose a dish from such an amazing menu, everything sounds absolutely delicious and their flavour combinations are brilliant. I settled for avocado on sourdough, with some goat cheese, egg and seeds, along with fresh side salad. It was just beautiful. The presentation is amazing and it was just so tasty. I was also so impressed with the quality of their coffee. I am a big fan of this place and will definitely return and recommended to anyone looking for a nice brunch spot. I heard it's very popular (rightly so) so you might see a queue but they have a small waiting area and I even an order being taken on the phone for take away. Also their coffee deal, unlimited coffee with brunch dish until 10.30 is brilliant value. Can't praise it high enough. Thank you!

The food was excellent. They served crispy fresh loaf and homemade butter with the meal! I enjoyed the jazz music. (Jazz on every Thursday evening for the month of October). The staff are friendly and the mains are under €20. Would recommend!

The breakfast special at Arán cafe is the greatest. Delicious coffees (including an Americano with depth and excellent flavor). A tasty breakfast sandwich and the most scrumptious eggs Benedict on the planet. We went pretty close to opening two days in a row, you might want to make a reservation if going later.

I have eaten here whenever I get the chance to visit Kilkenny. The food is delicious and the staff are always welcoming. I tried different things and never been disappointed. Fabulous 🥰

I'm a big foodie and I have to say that from now on this is my favourite restaurant. I've always liked their breakfast /brunch menu. The food is always fresh, flavoursome. Really like the vibe, staff are so friendly and helpful. We've had a chance to try their evening menu and OH MY GOD where we impressed! 😲 From start to finish we couldn't fault it. Every dish we tried we loved. Portions are so big, you'll struggle to finish it. The chef came out to introduce his mains to the table, we all thought it was such a nice touch. He explained what products were sourced locally and what they preserved since last year themselves. All together would rate the dinner 10/10. We'll be going there on monthly basis 💯💯

The brunch menu may be small but still manages to have something for everyone and everything on it is done extremely well. If you visit Arán you'll not be disappointed! The quality of both the service and the food is exceptional. Also, bonus points for the free coffee refills up to 10:30am!

The one place we visit everytime we are in Kilkenny, it is legitimately the most delicious food ever. Staff are so sound, they obviously are really passionate about the dishes they create and the service they provide - book a table if you want to eat in as they are always busy, but they do take away if you cant get one! Also their bakery is amazing and make the MOST INSANE pastries (as well as a v good oat milk latte). Love love love 💕

This place is amazing food is very delicious and fresh impressive friendly service..food presentation was beautiful..needs to book beforehand as it can get really busy..chicken is halal..parking nearby..excellent coffee..will definitely recommend

My wife and I had lunch here yesterday after a recommendation. Honestly, it was incredible, one of the best meals I have had in a long time. Really good atmosphere too. We then went across the road after to their deli and got takeaway coffee and some of their own in-house baked sourdough bread. Seriously, you need to try this place. It's a little off the beaten track but well worth it.
