A little disappointed when we booked the hotel through email and never received replies from the sales person, after checked to her she said my name is there but then when we arrived, the receptionist said ours was never there.... finally checked in on the spot for 1 night, the room is clean even we spot a black dirt on our bed sheet side, design wise is cute and unique. However the breakfast is a bit....... very low budget...... and small varieties for a 300++rate hotel. Location wise is very strategic. :(

Long short story, today (Sept 20,2022) just 3 days apart from the stay, suddenly I checked my “Spam” e-mail, and I got shocked because there were notifications from Pop Hotel which say that because of the high demand, they want me to wire deposits (not informed how much) to secure my room. I received 2 emails on the Spam (1 is Sept 19,2022 10.24 am, second is Sept 20,2022 11.51 am) I checked those emails at 3.34 pm and hurriedly called the hotline Marketing but not answerd. Then I try to called again at 4.00 pm to make sure about the reservation and the deposit I should pay. She talks that she’s not in the office, so She needs time to check if my room still available, but at the end turns out that my room has been cancelled by the hotels. Seriously, I just got confused by the Hotels policy for cancelling the reservation. I know the demand is high, but Is it good to cancelling the reservation without customers approval?? In my opinion, if the hotel wants customer to pay before booked the hotel, please set the terms on every application! Don’t offer to “pay later” or “pay at hotel” services if you can’t wait to received the customer money! I really disappointed by Pop Hotel reservation service! For I know from the very start that it will be difficult to booked hotels if I late. And there was no compliment at all, also no notifications from the apps I used. Please noted to other people who wants to stay at Pop Hotel especially at peak days, please make sure you do pay them by make deposit if you don’t want the incident repeat again. And to Pop Hotel, please repair the system so that the customer will not be disappointed like me. Everything works well in the hotel, unfotunately there are ants in the room, i told this to the man in the lobby but he said maybe because you bring food inside the room. The night before i don't keep any food in my room..the ants is still there. A little bit uncomfortable with that kind of toilet (portable or something and it was slippery) , no tissue in the room (only in toilet), no haidryer nor refridge (maybe because the type of the room). The window using up and down curtain, but it was not working properly. You must pick your breakfast before you dine in and it must be written in the voucher so they can provide you the dish. Quite variative choices, but it was a standard taste (don't choose the fried rice, don't recommend this). The staff is friendly and helpful though. McD is right next to the hotel. I stayed the hotel due to fully book of the business hotel I regularly stay. Honestly, the hotel is budget hotel, the wall is pretty thin between rooms so it is not really very sound proof. The breakfast has only 4 sets to choose from upon your check-in. The room is basically clean, but the design of toilet is awkward, and the material is fabrics, so it feels very low quality. Give the wear and tear, it it feels quite untidy. The front desk service is good, the lady is helpful and very friendly. And the breakfast is served very fast because it has been chosen the night before. The wifi is a nightmare, at peak hour like 20:00 when guests are all in, the wifi does not connect. If you were there for personal trip, it could make it. But you are for business, probably you would think twice.

The room is quite comfy, colourful and cute. The bathroom is kind of cramped but bearable. The staffs are really friendly and helpful. There's free breakfast and it is not limited to just two guests (but do note that the foods can be all gone even before 9.30am). Overall, it was a great hotel with cheap price and excellent comfort with posivite environment. There's even a McDonald closeby!

This is my 1st experience staying at POP Hotel and the room is quite nice. I stayed at twin bed non smoking room and they asked for money deposit 100k idr that will be return when you check out. The amenities that you'll get are tooth brush & paste, with 1 bar soap and 1 liquid soap. They dont provide mineral water bottle inside your room, instead 1 bottle of water that can be refilled in water dispenser that located in every floor (their motto is minimize waste). The bath room is unique, but i found leakage near the bath room door. The breakfast menu just in few option, and by the time i came down for breakfast at 7.15 the menu is almost runs out. Maybe because i stayed during weekdays, so they prepare small portion of breakfast. But overall i have nice experience here.

Minimum hotel set-up. No phone, No notepad, No Coffee. Suitable for sleeping only.

Stayed in this hotel for 5 days during covid quarantine, we've got a room on the 31st level with the view of Mount Kracatoa and Mount Karang. Love the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, but one minor improvement can be done with the swiftness of the bell boy with regards our experience when we requested him to help us with our luggages and waited for more than 40 minutes but he seems caught with to much work and failed to come and help us. Finally we decided to bring all of our lugagges ourself and made several trip between our room and the lobby to check out.
