I worked in this place since 2007.. The first Science Center of Indonesia..Concepted by "The Legendary Ministry" of Research&Technology, Prof.Dr.Ing.B.J.Habibie... Awesome place to upgrade your knowledge about Science (not only formula, but hands on activity) or to find the fun activities with your whole family...Amazing experiment also fill your day, if you get the visit there...

Visited with kids and they love it. Lots of science corner and demo. Spent almost 3 hours in the building and still lot of science booth/corner to visit. Staff are young and friendly. No need to worry about parking space

Our family loved the science museum. We had so much fun with all the exhibits and the price to get in is very reasonable. One of the best places we’ve been in Jakarta that kids can just roam and discover.

Empty due to school day. Most of the exhibits worked but some were broken. The exhibits interesting and in both English and Indonesian which was good. You cannot park there so need to take the shuttle bus which was good and even with 0 people in TMII the busses were always driving around.

PP IPTEK has so many cool science installations and you can play with some of them. This place also has friendly guides that are always ready on the spot giving you information and enlighten about installations. Don't hesitate to ask questions to them to solve all your curiosity. You just have to pay for the entrance ticket, and enjoy the whole entire museum. For "Sepeda di Atas Kabel" you have to pay extra 2,200 IDR.

Quite warm in the lower floor electrical exhibition section as the airconditioning is very poor. The exhibits are actually ok but there is an Angklung music machine that is extremely noisy when operated. When that Angklung music is on, we can't even focus or explain the other exhibits to kids because it is just too noisy. I put that machne pic below. I wish they silence that Angklung machine or take it away. Btw some exhibits are not in working order.

It is a good place for kids to explore lots of technology. They can play and learn at the same time. You need to pay 27500 IDR to enter the museum. They also have additional science shows that can be ordered for big groups.

Lots of props to explore science concept, especially physics related, and some biology. Not so much chemistry. Very educational, but kids still needs adult supervision to fully understand which physics concept it is trying to explain. Otherwise it's just fun, which is ok too. The place is a little too warm.

It's very sad to see that the most-beloved museum from my childhood time is not well-maintained. I think, now, only 60-70% of the experimental devices that are still functional. Regardless, I still see my daughters excitement when they visited the museum. I hope TMII management would be able to set aside some budget to renovate and/or replace the devices that are broken. This museum is one of the reason why I am interested to pursue and enjoy learning science and technology so I do hope it can instill the same interest to the young generation.

An interesting place to visit, it has various educational toy and apparatus. Unfortunately some apparatus are already broken, however they also add more high tech games into the collection. There are several scientific attractions which played at certain occasion during day.

Many props have a good concept, only many of them have not been repaired and many are not maintained. It feels lonely because few come to this museum and a lot of software is still not updated so it is not suitable for use at this time. Need a big renovation to change the concept of this place to be more interesting. The absence of a large event held is also a factor that makes this place rarely visited. The souvenir shop was only made very simple.

It's actually a great place for kids to visit because we can tell them about various things related to science and technology. Some of the new features are also very good, such as dinosaurs and Transformer robots. It's just that, for some other props are less maintained, perhaps constrained by cost. But either way, this place is still worth a visit.

My last visit was disappointed, we could not bring our car inside as usual, have to use electric shuttle buses which is only few for lots of visitors, and the sign was not clear enough to guide us where to go if want to use shuttle buses. Some places were not ready, when we enter there were lot of sign "under maintenance" and the show we used to enjoy as previous time ago was not available. Need good improvement.

The props and tests were just how I remembered 15-20 years ago. But I noticed some barbaric school kids giving them a hard time.

It's a great place to introduce your children to various scientific concepts that are being applied in our daily life. They use interactive props so your children can experience them firsthand. It takes around 2 hours to surround, learn, and experience all the props. One of the downsides is that not all props functioned properly, but the number is perhaps less than 20%. Recommended place to learn and experience science firsthand.

The most wonderful place for me. You can learn and play in same time. Bring your kids, sister, brother, friends and all family in here. The facilities were good. But, toilet and some props too old and can used. I hope the management of this place can repair or renew this condition. You can find this place in Taman Mini Indonesia Indah region.

This science center in Jakarta is really a very complete museum to find out more about for students to become school principals and students have to test the indonesian science center

It's a great place to get kids to understand science in a variety of approaches and entertainment for vehicle parking is not provided so it's better to use the shuttle bus The facilities of this place are good enough to teach children scientific research, not only about formulas

I went here as a high school student and actually was amazed by what it has. This is how a museum should be, interactive and fun. I really hope in my adult life that this museum still thrives, it should, we need this kind of museum, I really hope Museum Iptek stays current and informative for everyone.
