What you need to know is that Dr Gendler specializes in cosmetic dentistry and implants. He is going to want you to get an implant if your tooth needs to be removed. I came in with a root canal tooth that needed extraction that my regular dentist found. She was out of office and so I looked for a place to pull the tooth for me. When I said I couldn't afford a bone graft and dental implant the way he responded had me feeling quite embarrassed and ashamed. I told him that I have alot of work to be done so I'm prioritizing things in which I already had a plan for but I couldn't afford an implant. He said there are only cons to eventually needing dentures. He left and the dental assistant said she understood where I was coming from. She gets me started on nitrous because I am someone with past traumatic dental experiences. He comes in and just before he sticks me with the needle he said "you know, you are making a mistake." that part really humiliated me. Who says that to a patient right before they undergo a pretty intense procedure. That is my main complaint is that he communicated in a way that was shaming my decisions. I understand he must be passionate about implants. I understand it could be the best option and be better in the long run. I didn't have the money plain and simple. The other thing is that he raised my nitrous to 100 at one point without telling me he was doing that. It was way too much and I did ask him to turn it down but had he asked me if I wanted it that high i would have said no. People joke that laughing gas is a good time. That was a horrible experience and now I am further traumatized. He has many good reviews. Maybe if I could afford an implant I would have been treated differently. This is just my experience. If you need a simple extraction do not go here if you want to be shamed. I considered maybe I would switch from tranquility dental. They would have informed me without shaming me. I am happy to have the work done and that's about it.

Absolutely amazing people here at this clinic! Had a tooth emergency and they were able to get me in same day as a new patient. They we so caring and you could tell they genuinely cared about the people they work with! Thank you so much! I will definitely continue my dental care through them!

I wouldnt go anywhere else. I couldnt get into my state funded dentist in time with a bad tooth ache. I had to go to the emergency room. My sister referred me to Gendler dental. They took care of me right away and I just had them do more dental work because I trust them. Their referral for a root canel worked out great too. I referred my wife there in an emergency situation and they are helping her through some difficult dental work that cant wait. Thank you Dr Galina

I was ripped off the dentist has no bedside manners at all he is cold as ice and when I returned for my final fitting he wasn’t even there the dental assistant handed me my teeth and made the adjustments.I paid over $7000 for dentures after wearing them for a while I returned to his office because the teeth were to small to the point of the top denture looked like I was a thumb sucker and the bottom denture stood up about 4 inches above my bottom lip and according to the dentist the only way to correct the problem is to make a whole new set of dentures and pay another $7000 which we all know that dentures are only approved by insurance every 5 years so I can either pay out of pocket of wear them for 5 years. I went to this dentist after seeing them on tv stating that they were state of the art dentist but what I got was a cheap poorly made ill fitting pair of dentures along with a lot of unnecessary bone treatment that has completely destroyed the look of my face. And yes this is the right location in HOPKINS ,MN ON MAINSTREET.a portion of the $7000+ was paid by my insurance and $2000+ was our of pocket before the would even start. They pumped my insurance for every dime they could get.also if you notice look at the brown gum line that in between each tooth and you can’t even see the top denture when I smile or talk.They push you into getting implants and if you don’t or can’t afford you will get second rate service.

I have been a patient at this clinic for over 15 years. Dr. Gendler and his stuff are amazing. Super professional, very knowledgeable, will offer the best treatment to each problem..the office is very clean and inviting.

Everyone was so kind. The dentist was very thorough with explaining to me what was going on with my tooth, and went over some options. Did everything possible to make sure I was comfortable. Very clean and welcoming place.

Great clinic, knowledgeable dentists, great customer service! Dr. Gendler did an amazing job on my front tooth crown about 13 years ago, And when I had an issue with it this year (13 years later), they were able to get me in first thing in the morning. This time it was Dr. Goulding (who is also an amazing dentist) who worked on prepping my old tooth for a temporary crown and making a new crown for me. I’m a very happy customer! Highly recommend to anybody!

Very nice staff and Dr. Gendler was very nice and caring.I felt like he was a concerned dentist and made a plan that was what I wanted done where other clinics I have been at would add more work costing me so much more money and not listening to my situation.Dr Gendler genuinely cares and listens to you. It was so nice to have a dentist make you feel like you’re going to be in good hands. He even gave me a book he published to help me understand the process and the questions I may have will be answered in the book. This was awesome not one of the many clinics I visited explain or gave me brochures or any sort of research on the work I want done and this book will definitely help your decision making and help you understand the whole process of the work you may need done. I can tell you no one has gone out that far to help a patient other than Dr Gendler. I really am excited to go get started with his plan and would recommend you come see him too if you have dentures and want implants he’s got the experience and is very caring for you and your smile and is straight forward not looking at just the $$$ signs but to help his patient That just blows me away. Dr. Gendler and his staff are experienced professionals. I needed extensive work and Dr. Gendler and his staff handled everything professionally and effectively. They took the time to answer all of my questions throughly and worked with me to overcome the challenges I have with getting dental work done. The office has up to date technologies and comfortable and accessible facilities. The front desk office staff handled everything regarding scheduling and worked with me the payment procedures. Dr. Gendler throughly checker to be sure that everyone was happy with the work I had done. Ensuring the look, feel and function off all the work was both to my satisfaction and that the quality of the work was to his satisfaction.
