Bob and his wife Jen were fantastic! They took over ownership during COVID and have done an excellent job of keeping the resort looking clean and are updating/adding amenities to the resort. We actually stayed on the campground lots as our reservation was a bit last minute. Which lead us to reserving a few cabins for next years Memorial Trip. The lots are Sandy but add to the beach feeling. We will be back for the guided fishing and some adult relaxation next time! The team did a fantastic job at the main lodge with our meal, very convenient to not have to drive to Walker for food when you can get the best view around from the patio! They also had great coffee and snacks. As well as the gift shop that has a little of everything! The workers/family they have running around helping are fantastic, the older gentleman was always there to greet us when we were going out fishing both early and late.

After attending a boat and RV show in early spring my wife and I decided to make a Minnasota fishing trip our vacation this summer. We found Agency Bay Lodge on Leech Lake and began inquiring with the owners about a week in June. It was late in the reservation season but from the first contact, Bob and Jen were quick ro respond and answered all our questions. We were able to secure a week that worked for us and just returned from the most gratifying week of relaxation, fishing and learning about the area. Bob and Jen are so customer focused on delivering a memorable time at their resort for their guests. The cabin was great, the boat rental provided access to fishing and the location allowed us to explore the region including Itaska State Park to see the headwaters of the Mississippi River. You will not be disappointed with a week at Agency Bay.

The Best Cup of Coffee I started fishing with LOA during their inaugural season. I had met Toby on my wife and my “babymoon”. I know that each time I go out with them, we are going to catch fish and I am going to learn a ton. This particular morning, I was going to go look for Musky before I had to go back home. LOA set me up with Bob Weeks. We had a successful outing a couple of days before. I was up early. 0500. I was tired. Bob picked me up from the launch and took me to Agency Bay Resort which he owns and operates with his family. His wife is a barista, and they made me an incredible cup of coffee. We started cruising across the lake as the fog was burning off. It was an absolutely beautiful morning. The coffee, the sights, the anticipation all added to this perfect moment. It is that time in nature when you feel it more than see it. The notions of modern life, our trappings and excesses, our important schedules- all meaningless in this moment. In this moment, I am calm and at peace with the beauty that exists in our world. Bob says he loves his job and mornings like this will never get old. On this cool morning, my hands are warm from holding the best cup of coffee I have ever had and I am content.

Bob and Jen are some of the most heart warming hosts we have ever been around, PERIOD. These folks are NOT here to make a quick buck and send you on your way like many resorts..They are amazing! My father is not very mobile and they accommodated us with help to our lodge and also getting him in the boat. Bob is also a guide with “Leisure outdoor adventures.” So besides staying at Agency they can put you on a fish of a lifetime. We did a guided musky fishing trip 6 days in a row. Caught multiple fish and saw dozens more. They all made our stay truly amazing. Definitely recommend. Thanks Jen and Bob

Everything about being at this resort was comfortable and easy! It allowed for a very relaxing stay with a beautiful lake view right outside the cabin doors. Fun resort for fishing or also for families who want to relax or play. The coffee and smoothies in the lodge were delicious and Jen was always friendly and helpful. Will return!

ABL is my happy place! The people are super friendly and very accommodating. They have a great lodge with yummy drinks and all the bait and tackle you’d ever need.

Beautiful views of Leech lake from the cabins. So peaceful and relaxing. If you love fishing bait onsite and gas available to refill your boat.
