Very good food! I get the Taco Salad with beans instead of meat, Mexican rice, and guac. It always comes out delicious! Update Feb 7, 2024: still great food and service! Taco salad is still my go to, the veggie fajitas are really good aswell.

The food here is great and the service is very good. Food comes very quickly every time I've been there. It's usually kinda loud inside but I like it, some people may not though.

This is my wife’s favorite meeting place. The food is good quality and reasonably priced. The menu selection is your standard Tex-Mex options. The chips & Salsa are complementary and you can ask for hot salsa. The service can be slow at meal times but that is because it is a very popular place to eat. We eat here quite often.

Went here with my mom yesterday, the last time we dined in anywhere was 3 years ago, and it happened to be here. We also ordered from here a lot over the last couple years for delivery/pick up and what can I say, their food is wonderful. I've tried so much of their menu and haven't been disappointed yet. I don't love the whole menu, but that's personal taste, not the quality of food. In the couple dozen or more meals I've had from them, the quality is always top notch. My personal favorite is their chimichangas, I could eat those until I burst. Nice crispy wrap, perfectly seasoned meat filling, and drenched in delicious sauce. We've never had a bad experience with La Casita, and highly recommend it.

Best burrito I ever had. Steak fajita burrito, sub the red sauce for queso. It was delicious. Also, I recommend the non-alcoholic mango Pina colada 🥥. Very tasty!

The restaurant was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary. Great atmosphere, food, and service. When we left, I thought my daughter had my leftovers box, but she didn't. I went back inside to get it, but the busboy had already cleared the table. The manager had the kitchen make a take-home box for me to replace what was thrown out. Way above anything I expected! I will be back here again!

Went on a Friday afternoon with a large party (over 30). The server was very nice and did a great job. There should have been more than one person taking the orders as it took nearly 25 minutes for the one server to get to all of us. I understand staffing constraints but if anything the manager on duty could have assisted. Nevertheless once the orders were placed and sent to the kitchen, the food came out quickly and everyone I was sitting near enjoyed the food. Everything came out hot and fresh.

This past weekend, I had family in town for a wedding within the family. Over 22 people in our party wanted to gather the day after the wedding. We called ahead and Cesar was very kind in ensuring the restaurant could accommodate us all. We had the best service from server, Autumn, and Cesar as well. Giving my family time to enjoy a wonderful meal and connecting with each other once more. Thank you for your hospitality!!

Husband got the Supreme fajitas, wasn't to bad. Worth the price, got a nice size amount of food. I got the street tacos, all 3 were dry (steak, chicken, and shredded beef). Street tacos werent worth a photo. Got the hard Lemonade but it had no vodka. Not sure if we will be back as I make better Mexican food then what I washed down with water and strawberry Lemonade.

Went in for a nice weeknight dinner. We were greeted promptly and nicely. Our server was quick while still giving us time to look over the menus. Dinner was bought out 15 min after we ordered. The food was good. The chimmichunga was very tasty. The cancun was ok. It could have used some sauce to boost it up a little. The beans and rice were good. The chocolate lava cake was very good with the cinnamon ice cream. Price was reasonable averaging $10-20 a plate.

I'm such a sucker for cultural appropriation with some old historical photos and old style architectural bits to go with some awesome food that's as authentic as will still sell in Minnesota. We love our dairy and it can only be so spicy for us! The steak tacos were awesome and I loved how watery the salsa was. Yeah, I'm white and nerdy like Weird Al claims. This place with fast and good service is perfect for folks like us that don't have time to actually go visit Baja California in Mexico and ride very far in a saddle. Photos of horses back in the day never need their stalls mucked out of plus this place was open until 9 in a suburban location! :D

I always have an excellent experience at this particular location when eating out! The staff is very kind and polite, the food is always hot, fresh, and delicious, the drinks are always mixed well, and I almost always leave with a box of something for later. Absolutely try their flavored margaritas but make sure to get them on the rocks!

EDITED APRIL 2022: previous rating of 5 stars was based on the below info and photo from June 26, 2021. Since then, the menu has changed and not for the better. Pork tamales don’t even exist anymore (options given were beef or chicken) and they were dry and clearly reheated from frozen, with no husk like before. My beef tamale this time around wasn’t even turned on the plate to showcase it in the best way. It had the driest, crustiest end facing up without any sauce to hide it. Didn’t seem to have much flavor at all. Not impressed by anything this time around, and honestly we won’t be back with so many other options to try. It’s too bad because my husband grew up coming to this La Casita. June 26, 2021 review: 5-stars. So good! My husband and I went here for date night last night. Everything was very flavorful and had just the right spiciness. The pork tamale was my favorite. We will definitely be coming back.

The food is good. They have a large dining area for bigger groups. Also has a large bar area.

Went for my daughter's birthday. Food was great. There was 3 of us and we each had a different Chimichanga. Service could have been a lot better. Someone other than our waitress helped us more than once and more than she did. Someone else also brought our food out to us. Disappointing though they don't offer anything for your birthday.

My husband and I enjoy eating here. My husband is Celiac (gluten free) and the staff seem knowledgeable about how to prepare the food safely for him. The food is always delicious and the service is wonderful. The prices are very reasonable. When you get take-out, they even include chips and salsa. Over the last 5 years, I do not recall having a negative experience at this restaurant.

Not great on customer service whatsoever! But the food is consistent and good so we'll be back but for to go orders only. And check your order before you leave! Ordered 2 orders of chips and queso, along with 4 entrees in a group order. They gave us 1 bag of chips for 2 people to share and told me I had to purchase another bag or put the orders in separately next time. Been ordering here at least 3-4x a month and have NEVER been told that in the past or had that happen before our last visit.

15-20 before we even got a drink, of ordered a drink they couldn't make it because they ran out of simple syrup, ordered a different drink that was the wrong drink, the food okay at best! Water finally came near the end, waiter never came and checked on us! I tipped anyways to be the better person! Not coming back!

Great selection of build your own Mexican food in a locally owned restaurant. Plus different specials daily. Don't miss the fish tacos on Friday. Fun little store next door.

Normally my friend and I have great luck at this place. But last week service was awful. A group that was seated well after us was served drinks, chips, and salas before our server even came by. The service never got any better through the night. By the time we were done, we were basically getting kicked out of the restaurant. This was the second time in a month that the food was not great. Im sure we will give them another try but come on let's get it together LA Casita. Oh also there was no outdoor seating available and it was beautiful out!

My favorite part of my first time here was our server. Friendly ,Funny, personable. I noticed other patrons took a photo with him so he must be everyone's favorite guy. 👍👍

The fajitas were excellent, very tender and large. $18.95 seemed to be a little high at first, but soon realized there was enough for 2 people. I hadn’t eaten all day so it all went down very well. I didn’t feel stuffed and didn’t feel like I had just eaten a brick. This was the most tender piece of steak I’ve ever eaten. Also the chips were very light with minimal salt.

La Casita has great food and good service. Everytime I've been there I had very friendly servers. Occasionally it takes a while to get a refill because they can get rather busy. If you're patient and enjoy Mexican food you're likely to have a great time.

Alex was the best server we have ever had. He works so hard and he always gives the best service, even at busiest times. Fajitas y margaritas were AMAZING. 11/10 would recommend.

ABSOLUTELY AVOID THIS PLACE!!! We received 2nd rate service from our waiter from the beginning. We had to ask for everything. Most the time when asking he would act so rushed he didn't have time for us. He selectively chose to hang out with the larger party next to us and some other people he appeared to know. After our initial drinks, we waited 30 minutes before we asked if we could order. When we asked for our bill and paid he walk over and slammed the receipt on the table and walked away without a word. (I was going to give him a cash tip but he didn't act like he wanted it...) The food came fast and tasted great! My one star has nothing to do with the great service of your kitchen. It is focused on the complete failure of service our waiter the bartender who provided weak sugary drinks. Usually we order two drinks. We had to just order a straight shot because they tasted like straight mix. 😒 I think the bartender forgot the alcohol...

La Casita is a family owned group of restraints. I have eaten at three of them and of the three this is my favorite. Their food is consistently very good. Though not as good as Mom's the enchiladas combo has been my "go to" for years. Wife regularly orders the Pollo Fundito. The service is usually excellent but lately because of Covid seems to have suffered a bit. That doesn't stop them from the hustle though. My only complaint would be they do not season their chips. That's been a complaint of mine for years though.
