I’ve had several great experiences at Continental Diamond and will keep going back. While My engagement ring wasn’t bought at Continental Diamond, I had it sized, a pave diamond fell out of the band (no fault of CD), and a matching wedding band created with them. The prices can’t be beat, but the welcoming and customer focused service brings be back. Jeff S. guided us to custom ordering the wedding band and it was in budget and arrived when they said it would. Thanks for providing a nice atmosphere for big investment purchases and decisions!

My boyfriend and I had an appointment at Continental Diamond this weekend to start looking for engagement rings. When we arrived, Jane had already pulled several rings that fit our style and budget perfectly! This was our first time ever looking at rings, but with Jane’s help we decided on both an engagement ring and wedding band in less than two hours! Jane was professional, fun to work with, and didn’t push the budget. We will definitely be returning for my boyfriend’s wedding band, too. About a week later, I came in to buy the ring. Jeff did an excellent job managing my expectations with periodic updates as the ring was getting prepared. Out of the four diamond shops I went to, Continental Diamond was the best at educating me on the diamond industry, respecting my freedom, customer service, and delivering the best product for what I was looking for. Individually, Michael Shirte did a fantastic job serving my needs, educating me on diamonds, and being honest and straight-forward with me on pricing. Additionally, they don't make you come in periodically in order to keep the ring covered by insurance in case the ring gets damaged. It makes total sense why the Minnesota Bride Magazine has rated Continental Diamond so high over the past decade. Continental Diamond definitely has my business for future jewelry needs, and I'd recommend Michael and the company for anyone looking for good customer service and a good quality engagement ring.

I had a wonderful experience at Continental Diamond. I worked with Hannah V who recommended repair on an heirloom ring- the prongs needed repair and without her input I could have lost the stone! The work was excellent, affordable and completed quickly. I also consulted with Hannah on a design for a necklace. She is extremely knowledgeable, creative and a joy to work with. My husband bought my original wedding ring from Continental Diamond 15 years ago, and Jeff and all the folks there helped me to reset my diamond into a new setting and band. Can't say enough about the team at Continental Diamond. We have purchased a couple different items from Laurel and she has treated us fairly and like family every time we meet. She is extremely knowledgeable and works very hard to keep in touch while applying zero pressure. I recently had an issue with a Breitling watch clasp - keep in mind the watch was not purchased at Continental. I spoke with Jim Goldfarb on the phone who told me to bring it in so he could take a look. Jim adjusted the clasp in front of me and when I offered to pay, refused to take any payment. He also took my watch back to the service center and buffed out the stainless band and clasp, again accepting no payment! He gladly showed me all of their new watches even though I said I was not in the market and did not want to waste any of his time. He was and happy to spend the time showing off their latest collection which I really appreciated. This team truly cares about customer satisfaction, whether you purchase a big ticket item, or simply stop in to browse. They are the best in the Twin Cities for a reason!

Amazing service! My ring was designed and purchased here. After having a baby my ring needed to be resized but we no longer live in Minnesota. I scheduled a time to get my ring resized and told them I was on a tight timeline. They completed in less than 24hrs and it was very reasonably priced for the resize. Thank you! Dino and Hannah did a great job of helping me out. I brought in my late aunt's wedding ring and had the diamonds re-fashioned in to necklace. Hannah worked closely with me, presenting some design ideas, utilizing a gold chain I already had, and created a beautiful, timeless piece that I will enjoy wearing for a long time. She communicated both by phone and text, which made the process really easy. I was surprised by how affordable it was, particularly because they credited me the trade-in value of the gold band. Several of our friends told us to visit Continental Diamond when we were ready to purchase our wedding rings, plus I had some older jewelry I wanted to to use to create a new necklace and we were right away impressed with the excellent service and knowledge that Rachel showed us! When I went in to get an engagement ring for my now Fiance, Blake and Jeff really helped me out with picking the perfect ring that not only looked gorgeous on my girlfriends finger, but was well within my budget. I've worked with Continental on repair and resizing of several precious family pieces of jewelry, as well as ordering new and custom pieces. We bought both my engagement ring and wedding bands through Continental and had a great experience. My husband said they were very attentive and not pushy when he was shopping for the engagement band, and said it was the best ring shopping experience he could have asked for. We used my grandma's wedding ring to custom make my wedding bands and that experience was so smooth. We had an absolutely TOP KNOTCH experience at Continental Diamond. Not sure if we can mention specific people, but Ashly Karl deserves recognition for all she did for us. I received my grandmother’s wedding ring to use for my own wedding band. However, the center stone was a tad too small for what I wanted (it was 1/6 carat). So instead, Ashly suggested we use a similar style, creating a custom wrap from my band (my grandmother’s band was in a wrap as well). I know, custom sounds expensive but we gave Ashly a price point and she found quality options within that. My ring is PERFECT. Oh and did I mention, we weren’t able to see my wedding band or my husband’s wedding band in person prior to picking it out due to COVID? Thankfully, Ashly understood what we were looking for based on earlier discussions and helped us pick out the perfect rings online. We are so thankful we were referred to Continental Diamond! If I could give them 6 Stars, I DEFINITELY would!

My fiancé built my engagement ring at Continental Diamond with Ashly-Nicole's help, and we came back for our wedding bands as well! I absolutely love both my rings and my fiancés, and the shop has beautiful other pieces that we explored after shopping. Their watch collection is pretty stellar. The entire experience was very fun and light, and we even learned about a new metal (to us), which we ended up getting in his ring! We would absolutely return for future purchases.

I had previously purchased an engagement ring with Continental Diamond last year. My fiancee and I came back over the weekend to pick out wedding bands and we had yet another top-notch experience. Jeff Skogland was extremely helpful in assisting us, and we were able to both pick ours out in 30 minutes. They are always very customer service oriented, and even though we've only been there twice, they treat us like we have been customers for decades.

My expectations were exceeded with this company. Ashley was very responsive and went above and beyond through the whole process with a very special diamond. I will no longer be using any other jewelry store.Cant wait to do future business with them.

This is going to be a hard review to write. I was so excited for my appointment at Continental Diamond. I was referred by a friend after the great experiences she’s had, and after all the amazing reviews I read I thought for sure this was the place I was going to find “the ring”. This was also the first (and what I thought would be last) place I looked in hoping to find the perfect ring. Unfortunately, my appointment did not hold up to that expectation. The sales associate that I worked with seemed closed off and rushed me to trying on rings when we first met at the door. I originally thought we would have a formal consultation before trying on rings so she could get a better idea of who I was, what I like/don’t like, what I want to try on, budget, or even just give me a little information on Continental Diamond itself, but nothing. Within 30 seconds she starting pulling rings out of the showcase and started having me try them on. Before I could even look in the showcase to ask if I could try anything on that I thought I might have liked she was moving on to the next showcase. It wasn’t until we were more than halfway done with all showcases that I realized they were organized by designer. I was not given any information about the designers of the rings or even the metal of the rings I was trying on. Her fast-paced movement seemed all very overwhelming and the rushing made it seem that she just wanted the appointment to be over. Moving on to selecting the diamond. Before we told the sales associate what we were looking for regarding “the 4 C's” she brought out 3 diamonds (two ovals and a marquise). I was very interested in a marquise shape. While I am completely aware that this is an unpopular shape and there’s probably not many of these in stock, I was hoping for information on the diamond itself - where it originated, how it was picked, shaped, etc. Again, nothing. Before I left the appointment I was told she would hold the band setting and diamond for a few days so my partner could purchase the ring by himself, in addition she had said she would send an email with the setting and diamond information. The appointment was on Thursday and today is Sunday (to give an accurate time frame) and I still have not heard from the sales associate. Thinking about that appointment over the past three days, I am so disappointed and still have so many questions.

Henni helped Joe and I pick out the perfect engagment ring! She was amazing! I did not want to know when Joe would propose. So, this past weekend we went to Elmaro Winery in Wisconsin and Joe surprised me with a wonderful picnic basket luncheon with all the goodies and a fabulous bottle of wine. It was the most wonderful and specatular proposal! Then when Joe went to pay for our picnic basket, we learned that a young couple from Texas paid for everything! When they got engaged someone paid for their engagment surprise and so they paid it forward for us! What an amazing thing to happen to us and so humbling. Needless to say, we will pay it forward for a couple we see get engaged. On a side note, my ring is the most beautiful ring I have ever seen! I had the pleasure of working with Jeff Skogland at Continental Diamond. Not only did they smoke J.B. Hudson's offer, but I was able to walk out of the store with a brand new watch. Regardless, I knew I was gonna take a hit on my watch. but the level of customer service Jeff and his team were able to provide turned that negative into an actual positive experience.
