My
wife
and
I
just
moved
into
a
larger
house
in
the
area.
When
dropping
off
4
large
boxes
in
my
wife’s
newer
SUV
the
drop
off
people
gladly
accepted
roughly
$3000
worth
of
small
items
I
did
not
have
to
time
to
try
and
sell.
We
bought
a
solid
walnut
table
as
our
original
table
did
not
work
in
the
new
space.
We
had
originally
paid
around
$1500
for
this
table
and
I
brought
it
into
Goodwill
with
my
old
truck.
Goodwill
didn’t
even
look
at
the
table
before
telling
me
that
they
would
not
accept
it
as
I
was
unloading
the
three
piece
table
pad
($200).
He
took
one
look
at
my
work
truck,
said
no
tables
and
walked
away.
I
feel
bad
that
I
can
no
longer
trust
that
Goodwill
has
a
solid
business
model
to
help
those
in
need.
A
table
we
invested
$1700
in
three
years
ago
is
no
longer
good
enough
to
give
away
to
those
in
need.
The
Goodwill
employee
tried
to
make
me
feel
ashamed
of
myself
for
driving
an
old
rusty
vehicle.
So
I
called
my
wife
and
asked
her
to
shut
off
one
of
the
two
furnace
units
this
evening
for
either
the
right
or
left
side
of
the
house.
We
have
two
fireplaces
on
opposite
ends
of
the
main
floor
and
will
burn
the
table
in
one
of
them
in
silent
protest.
I’m
done
donating
perfectly
good
items
to
people.
This
table
was
good
enough
for
us
at
our
previous
Parade
of
Homes
Show
house,
but
times
must
be
so
good
for
everyone
that
this
table
is
not
good
enough
anymore.
I’ll
will
now
skip
people
donations
and
stick
with
animal
rescues,
they
don’t
judge
and
are
a
lot
more
appreciative.
