Just because of my insurance I was treated very horribly poorly. I wasn't treated like a human being I was treated like trash. I went in in agony and left hurt an still in pain. I was told I did in fact have an infection but didn't get antibiotics was told it wasn't a full on absesed tooth so no meds. She looked at me like I was beneath her same with receptionist I was spoken to like I was an annoyance, the dentist was in my "room" for literally one minute wasn't told how to control my pain just to get into a dentist to take care of my tooth problem.....isnt that why I went there? I left feeling belittled and unimportant to each and every staff member. I advise you visit another dentist cuz they don't help or treat you fairly. I can't eat, sleep or open my jaw but was sent away cuz of my insurance

Been going to this clinic for roughly 10 years. Dr. Taylor H. Is fairly new, and so far, I would say he, Hands down, is one of the most polite and positive person; he is always so happy aunt excited to see his patients to get them feeling better. He’s thorough in his work as well as the rest of his team. He always takes time to listen and chat with his patients before getting started. I am thankful to have him as a dentist.

Everything was great as usual! We drive almost an hour to go to Ascent Family Dentistry and it is so incredibly worth it! Everyone is so sweet and welcoming. The whole Ascent team is so good at making my kids (ages 4 & 7) feel comfortable and explaining everything they are doing during their appointments. The whole staff and Dr. Heinlein are nothing short of amazing!! Highly recommend!

Ascent Family Dentistry is amazing! I have struggled to find a dentist I feel comfortable with and trust. Dr. Heinlein made me feel comfortable and explained the dental issues I was having in detail, he even offered to show me what he was explaining. He is very personable and listened to my concerns - he approached my dental care with a positive tone and made me feel hopeful my dental health can be improved. Kate was also amazing. She was very personable and made me feel comfortable during my cleaning. She also was very knowledgeable and helped me understand how to better care for my teeth. She did not shame me for my dental issues, but instead offered solutions and even comfort regarding my teeth. I could not recommend Ascent Family Dentistry more!

This is the best Dentist I have ever gone to... The staff is wonderful, fun, and very friendly - the Dentist even more so. I love the music playing during procedures but sometimes find it hard to not sing when hands are in my mouth :) I am impressed with the amount of work they do themselves as you usually get a referral to get other things done (which sucks). Not here .. they have new technology and know how to use it well. More so, getting me in so fast to help fix my front teeth for my daughters wedding - priceless!

Wasn't notified of my apt being cancelled till i showed up at 7am. was told that the hygienist called in midnight the night before. why wasn't i told the night before or the morning of? i have plenty of other choices for getting my dental needs done. so disappointed . for the record Julie my hygienist was always awesome.

The Dentist was absolutely amazing and made the experience the best ever in the world. Gina is my hygienist and is incredible. She also has TMJ so she works with me in managing the amount I have to open my mouth and ways to help it. She also worked at an oral surgeon so she is very well versed. Dr. Johnson and his staff do great work! We drive about 45 minutes to see them.

I have been going to this same dental practice since before it became Ascent Dentristy. Going on 60 years now. Have been seeing Dr. Johnson since he took over and have nothing but good things to say about not only him but his whole staff. If there's something wrong they fix it. If there are questions, they answer them. I even drive from Minnetonka to Columbia Heights to see them and that's saying something! Keep up the good work you guys and I'll see you in October.

No one really *likes* going to the dentist, but since we need to, Ascent is about as good as it gets. All of the staff is friendly and competent. Julie (dental hygienist) is awesome and efficient, and both Dr. Johnson and Dr. Simonson are great too.

I had a checkup on 9/8/16 and was served well . The dental hygienist Kate clean my teeth and did a great job. Also Dr. Johnson checked my teeth. I have been with them for a number of years and have been satisfied with there work.

Taylor is the best dentist I have ever had. He has taken care of me fairly, honestly, and does a great job. I also appreciate how his team is very accommodating to work with your schedule…not theirs. Can’t recommend enough!
