These guys are great they helped my 11year old son to gain confidence behind the boat wakeboarding and even taught him to 180. Ben you did a great job and gave my son the much needed support to be confident. 100% recommend the team at 4 lakes

Thank you so much for such a fun morning at 4 Lakes. My 15 YO son had a double wakeboard lesson booked with Jamie. Jamie was brilliant; just the right balance of teaching him whilst giving him the confidence and encouragement to try new tricks. He even had a go at a ‘180’ - which was brilliant!! 4 Lakes is a truly wonderful destination, in a beautiful setting, run by super friendly staff. The facilities are excellent. We found it quite by accident via a web search and I’m so glad we did!! We will definitely be coming back. I couldn’t recommend it more and the prices are very reasonable too - especially when coupled with the expert tuition. We really enjoyed meeting Waffle too :)

Jamie is a great teacher and I’ve enjoyed it so much that I’ve dragged friends along, and every single one of them said they also had an amazing time. We always enjoy ourselves. Every time you go out on the water the drivers are enthusiastic and the standard of coaching is top notch! Everybody is super friendly, and the lake is beautiful whether you’re showing off your skills on the water or having a picnic on the grass. There is a great variety of activities offered. We have been visiting for years and there is nowhere else I would rather go!

Jamie and Sam have such a great set up here. My group of friends have been going regularly for a while but I have only just started wakeboarding myself. After two sessions Jamie had me crossing the wake on my toe edge! Fabulous teacher and fabulous location - couldn't recommend more. Plus, there are great facilities and a BBQ to rent too!

Really friendly and helpful staff. Lovely setting with easy access to the water and basic but well maintained facilities providing everything you need. The area available isn't huge so whilst it is ideal for beginners and practicing skills there isn't much for experienced paddlers to explore. That said our mixed experience group had a great time teaching each other and practicing skills. Non participants were made welcome and there is a lovely area for picnics so after our activities we refulled and relaxed.

I brought my 13-year old son to 4 Lakes during half term to learn to deep-water start on a mono ski. Jamie was the perfect instructor - he took my son back to basics on two skis, then to the bar and boom! Straight up behind the boat on a mono ski. Jamie’s skill is in providing just the right amount of instruction (not too much!) while also building confidence. The location is great and the atmosphere open and really friendly. Highly recommended.

We took our sons aged 11 and 13 to 4 Lakes for waterski lessons. Sam and Jamie were very friendly and helpful and within a short space of time both boys were up on the skis having a great time. We would highly recommend 4 Lakes to anyone wanting to learn or develop waterskiing/wakeboarding. Good value too compared to competitors !

We had our first experience paddleboarding and it was so much fun. The area there is beautiful so could just sit on your board and admire the view! Sam was so friendly and welcoming, so I can't wait to come back and try again! Very reasonable price with great equipment and facilities

This place is incredible. Sam was super helpful before we came and advised a 30 min slot would be good for beginners. So we booked a load up before arriving! The booking process was simple. We booked 30 mins slots for the kids & hubby who had never done it before & as you can see from the pictures - they were up and on the rope in about 10 mins!! Wetsuits provided which were amazing quality. Jamie was a phenomenal teacher. It’s a family affair with Sam’s dad driving the boat! Jamie has a wonderful manner and kept the kids & hubby calm and encouraged!! We as a family are now hooked & can’t wait to come back. We cannot rate the service and experience highly enough. Was great fun! Had our slot pushed back by an hour so that the weather was better which was greatly appreciated. They were very concise and educational with teaching us how to paddle board as nonenof us had been before. Also as it was a quiet day we were able to go for slightly longer than the hour we payed for.

We were so blessed to have been recommended this amazing place. There was an excellent variety of different activities to choose from. Jamie and Sam are truly lovely friendly people and great fun to be around. Both experts in their field. Jamie is a fantastic teacher. My daughter and myself have a fear of water. He encouraged us and guided us every step of the way. Our family will definitely be back again. 4lakes helped make our holiday very special.

Our family group of 11 visited 4 lakes today and did the towed inflatables, paddle boarding and kayaking. We had a great day. Staff were very friendly and helpful, both in contacts before we arrived and on the day. Clean facilities, lovely place to picnic and a great chilled out feel. Great mix of relaxation and fun. Kids loved the inflatables. Highlight of their holiday. Thanks to all the team.

Friendly , quiet and lots and lots of fun ! We visited Wednesday 21st July and Thursday 22 July.. inflatables were so fun and the driver of the boat was brilliant , then we paddle boarded and kayaked ! All in all best water sport area and loved the family feel and they were so accommodating … would highly recommend …

We booked paddleboarding for our sons birthday. It was a brilliant experience, thoroughly recommend! Staff are extremely friendly, and on hand. Paddle boarding come rain or shine (of which we had both!) great fun, and lots of laughter, and not over crowded. Lovely setting with a good amount of parking, good cleaning and hand sanitising stations in place.

We had a brilliant weekend at 4 Lakes over the August Bank Holiday. The facilities are great, the people are super friendly and the coaching they provide is excellent. Some of my friends did the SUP fit class and loved it and we had quite a few waterskiing sessions and everyone improved. We also hired SUPs and Canoes which were also really good fun. All the kit is good quality and the ski boats are really good and really well maintained. The lakes are super clean too. Jamie and Sam who own 4Lakes are super friendly and they and their staff make everyone feel very welcome and safe. We’ll definitely be back. That’s the best recommendation I think I can give. I’d absolutely recommend them.
