Fantastic little spot! Great for taking the kids to play. Have a fantastic hill that they climb in. Great slides and lots of little adventure set up type places. The trails are pretty easy to negotiate.

The Preserve District 56 is so nice and clean. Its a breath of fresh air because its surrounded by so many trees and theres a beautiful lake that surrounds almost the entire trail. Theres so many benches all over made for people to just sit, relax and enjoy the scenery and nature. And also theres a whole section for working out. Built in equipment as you would call it. And a chart that tells you what each station is for......and of course they are all numbered. Kids play area is a bit small but my little one had so much fun. The big kid play area was closed off for construction. Also whats cool is that there are a some musical instruments that kids/ adults can play with. My special needs child had fun with those.

My dad found this playground over by the Elk Grove Aquatic Center, and all I can say is that it's epic! Between the play structures and pond alone, my 3 year old had a blast feeding the ducks and climbing up that hill to the rope tunnel and slide. On a cooler day, we would be climbing all over those ropes! I didn't use the bathrooms, but they are easily available. Upon entering the park, there is a pretty impressive exercise structure for those who might be interested. Some of the other play structures include percussion music makers, which add to the whimsical atmosphere when they're played. This playground gives off major Tarzan tree house & Hobbiton vibes simultaneously. Definitely will be bringing the kids here again!

It’s a perfect place for kids to play, for adults to take a walk and enjoy the natural environment. It’s not have big shade since there is no big trees but still good to take a walk. The outdoor gym area is amazing too.

Beautiful park hidden in Elk Grove. The water is peaceful, the workout structures and play structures for children are fun. You can also reserve tables to grill and party with your loved ones. Adjacent to The Aquatics Center and also offers a nature preserve walk for outdoor enthusiasts.

Whoever’s idea it was to get this built in Elk Grove needs to get a raise. The place is beautiful. It has nice access to outdoor gym along with the aquatic center. The walkways are build so wide so it doesn’t feel crowded even when there’s a lot of people. Nicely done.

Very nice area to walk around. Certain areas you can really separate yourself and get into a more nature vibe.

District 56 is a really fun playground. It has a big hill for the kids to clime, and at the top, you can go down a really long slide. If you don't want to go up the hill, you could instead clime a rope wall. If you have a little kid, they have a little kid playground next to the big hill. They have 2 swings and a hamic. My kids love this playground and will always want to go here. I hoped this helped.
