Super fun bar tucked away in a shopping plaza full of unique places to visit. This place definitely has a local hometown feel and has a ton of TVs to catch every single football, hockey or baseball game on. The space is really well designed and the outdoor patio is dog friendly. The bartenders are amazing, super fast and friendly. The wings!!!! I was extremely impressed with the wings as they were lightly breaded and extremely crispy. The medium sauce was perfectly tangy and had just amount of heat to not leave my mouth on fire. Don't judge the place by the outside because it really is a fantastic bar to grab lunch, a beer or a few, and a game.

Walked in to eat on a Friday at about 7:30 and this place was near dead. Large footprint, two pool tables and two dart boards, which I love to see. Lots of TVs on a long bar, excellent potential. The problem: when I was there it had an awful odor, noticeable immediately. Couldn't take it, and walked out. Might be decent place if there were more people, but early evening atmosphere made me think it won't survive long term. Not enough patrons. Maybe needs to invest in marketing and promos for happy hour or something. Or maybe I'm wrong and it picks up later at night. The other problem with the complex (not a knock on Tap Room) is the parking. Awful. Whoever at the county signed off on this complex with publix and all the other businesses I hope no longer has that job because it's immediately obvious there's totally inadequate spaces. I'll try again given new management, since I think this place has lots of potential.

Great place been going here since 2008! Friendly neighborhood bar with Cajun cuisine attached and great wings! They have a full bar with draft beer and good cocktails 🍹 There is also and outdoor space you can hang and dog friendly! Norm the owner is welcoming to everyone, Tampa Tap will always have a place in my heart!

We order food from the Tampa Tap Room last night. I was in the mood for a hamburger, but not that frozen stuff (if you know what I mean). I wanted to be able to taste the flavors of ground beef, maybe some flame, and a non-bland taste when I bit into the burger. So, we decided to give Tampa Tap Room a shot. We called in our order for pick-up. Honestly, we had a bit of a challenge finding the Tampa Tap Room and the green and white lightening didn't stand out to us, so we ended up calling and found it tucked away next to the golf shop. We parked and walked through the breezeway of restaurants and picked up the food. It was cool to see a restaurant filled with pool tables. Back to the food. We ordered two well done burgers and an order Old Bay Wings. I must say the food was delicious. My teenager basically inhaled the burger before I could finish mine, lol. The wings were also on point. There are a lot of burger places in Tampa and we've tried many of them; however, Tampa Tap Room has to be on the 1-5 list of best burgers in the area. I highly recommend the Tampa Tap Room; especially when it's getting late. A lot of places seem to close around 8:30pm - 9:00pm on Friday, so your hands can get tied when trying to find something to eat that won't make you sick. And how about those days where you spend a decent amount of money to be let down! That's where you'd be like, "I should have just gone to McDonald's.". Thankfully, the Tampa Tap Room will not let you down. Give it a shot....

Great place to eat & watch the Sunday football games! Bartender took excellent care of me. The burger was incredible! The chef named Carolina personally came out & introduced me to his garlic honey chicken. I ordered them on spot. Real good atmosphere. Bad calls on the Jets prevented them from beating garbage Kansas City Cheifs!! I will be back again, thanks!

Stopped in to price a drink, which is an average price i believe. i was walking by; as i am walking across Florida exploring and helping the homeless when i can. The bartender offered me some water a rest for a bit. Totally awesome dude. It Was completely dead at the time i was there. So i asked him if he would be closing early, he said no we usually pick back up after everyone else closes down and in today's world with uber and lyft I would hate for someone spend there money to get here and not be able to enjoy themselves... I thought that was awesome 👌!!

Avoid at all cost. Nothing close to real Cajun food. Place has no identity, Its a dive bar boasting award winning food that doesn't come close to delivering. Better off at the bar right next door

I got such a laugh from some of these ridiculous reviews and applaud the owner for their response to them all. I had to give this place a try and finally, finally, finally, some good wings! My partner and I have tried numerous places and we were so happy when we bit into out wings! Thank you! Definitely will be back!

Oh WOW! new owners new look more light more inviting excellent service if you were a past guest you must come and see the new look you will be impressed as I was. No more smell l! Really! The floors are going to be redone, bathrooms all redone. WOW I was taken a back. Please please come on down.

Was craving gumbo and found this little gem in my neighborhood on Google. The gumbo is wonderful and I look forward to ordering more items from the menu and Tammy makes an awesome Green Tea Shot too!!!

The bartenders are great and the food is good. What isn't good is my $15 tab for two white claws not including tip. THAT'S 2 WHITE CLAWS FOR $15. This place isn't nearly as good as other premium drink price places. In other words, if you're trying to get shafted on drinks, go to a Rays game or a high end place, not this dive bar.

This is my favorite place in Tampa, there is not better late place like this one. The service is amazing and the food is delicious. There is not a single weekend I don’t come here to spend some good time, Jenna is amazing, I love her so much😊😊😊, from the bartenders to the kitchen everything is great. I highly recommend this place.

The Tampa Tap Room is always a great time, I go there at least 2 times a week. Good prices on food and alcohol and a very welcoming atmosphere. Sports bar with a local charm as it is privately owned and operated.

Came here for drinks and apps. They have some great happy hour specials! It’s a spacious place with lots of tvs and also two pool tables. I was expecting more draft beer options than there were, but they did have several choices. Food came out quickly and was good, and our server was great.

We had the crawfish ettoufe with garlic toast, gumbo, boudin balls, garlic parmesan chargrilled oysters, and cajun curly fries. All fantastic. Gumbo is the best I've ever had. Highly recommend. Great drinks too.

Last night was my first time visiting the taproom in at least a year. Very impressed with the changes from the new ownership. Tacos were great and beer was cold. I will be back.

Wow, what an amazing update to the TTR! Jenna and her team have transformed it into a welcoming sports pub, complete with a variety of beverages, a solid menu, and friendly staff. Our new locals place!

The check came to almost $100, shouldn't have been that high ,food wasn't hot,and took forever,food tasted old not fresh,ruben didnt have Swiss 🧀 😔, chicken wings were the worse,total disappointment!!! It was a Friday, skinny older lady was bartender/server

This place is SHADY-and DANGEROUS I was attacked by a woman here last night and left with a huge bump behind my ear from her shoving me to the ground on the patio and then she tried to attack me more when I didn’t fight back. Then she raged and tried to jump me and she had three or four people holding her back so she didn’t beat me. The woman committed a hate crime when she yelled at me (while shoving me to the ground) to get the fudge out of the country and that she hated Jewish people (I’m not even Jewish) and the bar kept serving her and her friends. This is the ghetto place of Carrollwood. I had two double drinks on two tabs because I left to go get smokes at Publix in between my two drinks. They charged me 34 each tab. I’m disputing fraud. I would have called the cops when I was attacked but cops usually take all drunk people to jail. I went today to look for cameras because I spoke with my attorney and they said go to the hospital and I could file a lawsuit for negligence on the bar since I didn’t know exactly who that woman was. That woman should be charged with assault and instead she was served more drinks. These are the patrons that frequent this place. Shady. I’m pretty certain there is some illegal background business here..stay away And I’m still considering calling the cops to report that woman because she’s very violent and could have seriously injured me if my head hit the pavement instead of the edge of the chair. She obviously is a mean drunk, a bigot and could end up murdering someone with the rage she has. I prayed for her.

Stopped here on my way home from work after googling "burger near me" . My burger was absolutely fantastic and it was actually cooked rare which a lot of places seem to have a hard time with. The seasoned fries were great as well. Will definitely stop by here on the way home sometime again soon.
