Pretty sad that dollar general lines their pockets while their workers are overworked and underpaid. This is one of the best/cleanest dollar generals I have ever been to. They just fired their manager Mary after she spoke out about the poor working conditions this company subjects their workers to. Just completely unacceptable and I don’t think I can further support DG after this situation.

Corporate fired their manager, Mary, who was such a great person, always was working everytime we entered the store, just for her using her freedom of speech on social media to talk about how she wasn't getting enough help in the store, and about the lack of organization she has received from the company. Employees should be allowed to voice their opinions, especially when we have freedom of speech in this country. Apparently Dollar General doesn't love this country, and it's freedoms. So I will be choosing other convenient dollar stores from now on, until corporate shows that they care about their employees. Because if if a company cares about their employees, they care about their customers.

Wow!!! I’m not from Florida BUT I usually shop at my local DG but won’t anymore! Class act DG for firing the Tampa’s manager Mary for posted about how your treat your employees. I’m so done with this company. I stand behind you Mary and you will find a better job.

anything you can get at DG, you can get at any other store that DOESN'T treat their employees like coorporate slaves. You only have a social media policy because you know what you do is WRONG!!!! This is 2022, we have a voice as customers and as employees— and we WILL be heard!

Great Staff, but the store Manager Kimberly is very unprofessional & disrespectful. She changed my pay without my knowledge and wasn't going to tell me she changed it. When higher ups asked her about it she said she didn't know how it happened. When I went in to talk about it she told me she change my pay when she wants to and not tell me. She also cut my hours for no reason, by keeping me off the schedule for 3 weeks. I don't know what is the issue. Maybe because she didn't hire me the GM did & she didn't like that. At this day and time if you have an employee willing to work when things are tough and comes to work when schedule what's the problem. I text her this morning like she told me about the schedule and she informed me my services are no longer needed, for no reason, so I ask what was the reason her response was she doesn't have to have one. So I was wrongfully terminated for no reason. People like her shouldn't be a Manager anywhere. People have families to feed and bills to pay and not games to play. She needs to be removed from her title of Manager and I will not stop voicing my wrongful termination until she is. As for the rest of the staff they are great. Sorry for having to do this but people abuse their power when they have it.

Very rude and disrespectful employees towards their customers. Spoke to Becca regarding her employees Behavior towards me, she said she'll talk to them, but I highly doubt it. She was making excuses why they did what they did and said what they did. Two employees actually threatened to hit me. she's not going to do anything! never go to this store for anything. Family Dollar nearby is just as bad... 05/04/23 The Store Manager Becca and the rest of her management staff are very unprofessional and don't know what they're doing. Every time I come into this location and get a bag of chips and ask that the price be changed to the price on the Shelf, the store manager changes it, but never hesitates to complain about it first. The store is trashy everyday and needs a management overhaul. Also store manager disciplined an employee in front of customers, which is extremely unprofessional.

I wanted to pick up a western union after being advised by another store because this stores phone is a dial tone everyone can do it! After a very long walk the lady advised me she didn’t know how! Wasted trip!!

Great place to buy food if you don't want to go all the way to the grocery store. Lots of snacks, but also some healthy options that might surprise you.

Why is that everytime at least twice a week the doors are locked while operating hours I live close by so that'sy go to store but they employees are locking the doors how are you gonna make money if the doors are locked at7:00 pm

Great selection of decently priced items. I personally feel like their prices are better than some other discount retailers. The shelves are always filled. And as a season changes, the Sales are Great. Friendly, professional staff. Parking area, and store were clean. What more can you ask for from a Dollar General.

Walk all the way to the store cause it says it's open till 10 and get there at 730 and the whole store lit up like its open and not a soul inside!!!!🤬🤬🤬🤬

How are you supposed to close at 10 pm and your doors are locked at 9:40 make it make sense

This dollar store closes 20 min early every day completely unacceptable
