Went there on WED 15, July 3pm, I ordered one chicken katsu, then the male staff (the only staff at that time) told me its chicken katsu curry and their dishes all comes with curry, while I was thinking what else to order the staff told me to GO AWAY and find somewhere else to eat???????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was totally shocked and bcoz I was in a rush so I didnt raise this issue to the manager!!!! How terrible and rude he was!!!!!!! Def wont go there anymore and will pass this bad experiences to everyone!!!

Authentic yummy and comforting Japanese food!! Loved the omu rice and you get to watch the chef prepare everything. Price is also very reasonable! Highly recommend.

This has got to be one of the best lunch deals in Perth hands down. $10 chicken katsu on a Wednesday. $12 pork katsu on Thursday. Choice of classic curry sauce or the spicier and much darker house 'Godzilla'. I went for the latter. It was pretty good. Generous serve of pork cutlet with a good crunch. Some roast carrot and spud and pickled ginger. Yum. Order at the counter. Grab your utensils and water though quite a few of the CBD office crowd were on the saki 🙂

Very much nice Japanese curry. CoCo itchibunya curry lovers will enjoy the food here. I had the Godzilla curry and it was the equivalent of a CoCo curry at heat level 5, very tasty. Will take another photo of the eat-in serving next time, the takeaway looked rather plain.

Really really tasty Japanese curry unfortunately it was a bit cold, otherwise it was really yummy! The chicken karate was really well cooked and the service great too. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes Japanese food!

I saw some other put down best curry. While food is entirely subjective, there are much better options in Perth and anyone who gave this place 5 stars was obviously drunk. Side dishes are nice, flavour is meh, and the smoking oart of it was kinda unique at best

Best place for Japanese curry in Perth! My partner and I found this place a few months ago and have been addicted to it ever since. The chef is an artist with his food; he takes so much care and pride and it pays off! Couldn’t recommend it enough, we’ve had some good food around the world and this 100% in the top 5 out of everything.

As a connoisseur of japanese Curry I really enjoyed the curry here. the young fellow that served us was so intense and dedicated to his craft that at first i thought he didnt notice me waiting at the register to order but I was watching him and the care he exhibited in preparing the plate of food for his customers was meticulous. the small wait was well worth it and I was immensely impressed.

Love the curry here! The prices and servings are reasonable. I have tried the omurice, chicken katsu and and tonkatsu. Mild curry since I can't take spice and it is delicious! The meat is a hit or miss though, sometimes it is nicely cooked, others it can be quite dry. The safe bet is probably omurice (egg). Rating it for the curry and would pay more for more curry sauce!

The chicken katsu curry is not bad (funnily enough, I thought it was better when we had it delivered), but like Hiss and Smoke, the service is pretty average, and there's not enough staff to clean the tables. Not a particular nice environment to have a meal in - probably better to get takeaway and eat it elsewhere!
