Pier 10 was an impromptu stop after exploring Cape Schanck to start another round in sunny, wine country. Service - 5/5 - There's something special about rucking up unannounced and being made to feel welcome. They made such a good effort to get us seated even as walk-ins, even with a bustling big party already underway, and were instructed to only pick a single course as there were other reservations. We agreed to the terms and were seated by the windows to enjoy the view. It was a simple, quick experience but we were delighted by the staff, and this is priceless after a tiring morning of exploring. Food - 3/5 - The olive oil infused with parmesan, which came with the complementary bread, was delicious. For mains, we went with beef cheeks and the saffron gnocchi. The beef cheeks were a disappointment, as the entire dish was severely under-seasoned and the cheeks seemed to have been cooked in water. Copious amounts of salt and pepper did not help the dish because unfortunately, the flavours just weren't there. The saffron gnocchi was a standout --creamy, comforting, and rich. We enjoyed it between us and couldn't get enough! Ambiance - 4/5 - The restaurant itself opened to a view of the vineyard and countryside, very simply laid out with an outdoor deck we would have opted to use as indoors was very noisy. A large birthday party, and acoustics that only made the revelry louder, made it hard to hold a conversation. In all, it was a good, quick lunch. Service was honest and accommodating. The food could have been better but was filling anyway as a midway point to the rest of a busy day. We're glad we visited!

Beautiful place and beautiful people running the place. We loved the food and we iced the hospitality even more. It’s rare to find a restaurant where they really make you feel Comfortable and connect with you. Amazing food too and the recommendations by our waiter was superb! They have an amazing sense of humour and will happily cater to your needs and requirements. Their special was the fig salad and it was most delicious. Will also recommend cauliflower steak. I’m definitely coming back here!

This place is the full package! Wine tasting on the deck of the restaurant overlooking a beautiful lush vineyard, followed by incredible lunch and service from the wait staff! Our party of 12 had an amazing time and were the last to leave! Thank you Pier 10 for a wonderful experience and day out! Well worth the drive out to Red Hill.

Such a delight to find an original, charming little winery with a beautiful outlook, good cuisine and great service. Not fancy but simple and original. The a la carte menu is interesting and servings are generous. I was very happy with my choices. Good music playing in the background but not too loud. Probably seats about 50 people so not too large but enough people to have atmosphere. We didn't know the wine but enjoyed the 2020 Pinot Noir. If you're looking for a very pleasant place for lunch which isn't outrageously expensive, try here!

Attended this winery as part of a wine tour with a group of 18. Absolutely amazing service, friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Staff we sooo accomodating, providing separate delicious meals for the coeliac/vegan we had in the group. All the other food was delicious! From the soft bread, delicious olive oil, perfectly cooked calamari and arancini, pork belly, bara and gnocchi... everything was perfect! Food all came out at once, with yhe qaiter knowing exactly who ordered what. Will definately be back.

We had the pleasure of having our wedding reception at Pier 10. From the first meeting with Stuart, we felt like we had found our venue. Both Stuart and Renee were patient and helpful with our numerous questions and meetings - no request was too much for them. On the day, Stuart ensured everything ran smoothly and was flexible with our timeline. He also recommended lovely, picturesque spots for our wedding photos. We are still today receiving feedback about how wonderful the evening was and how generous and delicious the food servings were. Thank you Stuart and Renee! A truly sublime experience. This was our first time here and we will definitely return. We had a lovely wine tasting experience and left with a dozen delicious bottles to enjoy at home. The restaurant is absolutely divine. We were a group of 5 and we shared several entrees. All of them were gorgeous, such as the pate and scallops. The duck, barramundi and charcuterie board were perfect. All of this was delivered with impeccable service despite being busy on a beautiful, sunny afternoon. The location is breathtaking with many lovely areas to sit indoors or out. This is an experience not to be missed!

Food was good, service was good- if you request it . Lighting was so dim we needed the iPhone torch to see if salt n pepper shakers were actually working . . . I guess great if you’re on a dinner date for an alternative/romantic motive. Wines were lovely ! Nice night.

We had our anniversary event here, Stuart was accommodating to our needs and sat with us to customise the menu according to our needs and taste palates. The food was amazing, everyone was very pleasant. Sienna was our server and she went above and beyond with her service,which was absolutely incredible. We are very happy we chose this place for our event. We have come here before for lunches and it's always been a pleasant experience for us. We will definitely be back. 10/10!

We had our wedding here and could not speak more highly of the venue. Stuart was so easy to deal with and nothing was a bother. Staff on the night were outstanding and went out of their way to help. What a great little restaurant. The food was excellent, and the service was superb. We sat by the open fire, so we were nice and warm. Had a very nice Pier10 wine, which we bought a couple of bottles to take away. The menu has a variety to please everyone. A must visit when you are down here.

A fabulous tasting experience and Dante was so helpful with the booking process as well as accommodating our large group.
