I’m a regular customer for years here at glen ferrie and in the city but recently I witnessed the change. The price increase I understand the reason and I respect that but the quantity also reduced dramatically, so now I’m not sure if is worth it anymore. I want you to notice my review and make your choice and I’m sure I’m not the only one who support you and feel the same way as me. By the way chefs, your food is always better compare to the city!

Gado-gado sauce was watery and had no boiled eggs (even though in the photos it should have had eggs). So, it was not worth the $20, we feel. Noodle was alright, could have been better. Bakwan and noodle soup were both salty. We ordered satay with separate sauce for our child, it came with sauce poured on the satay; but they changed it after we complained. The restaurant was clean and well maintained, though.

I have been coming over to have a meal here, everytime I travel to Melbourne. But it seems the food standards have gone down and it's less yummy. Taste of food has also turn to normal. It used to taste better and more authentic. The cooks I see in the kitchen are now younger and perhaps less experienced. I ordered a take away Fried Rice Seafood and noticed that the rice wasn't even cooked fully. It was still in the mashy form like barley, and they actually cooked it with the seafood ingredients. My stomach didn't feel good after that. From this time onwards, I've decided to end my regular visits. Indonesian food here is not authentic anymore. I'll give it a pass next time. If you pay by credit card, they will charge you another 5% on top of your bill. I paid almost $38 for a Fried Kway Teow and take away Nasi Goreng Seafood. And it's not even spicy.

Despite the 25 minute drive for us we absolutely love coming here for a quick feed. The service is always so nice here. The portions are generous and the food is undeniable authentic Indonesian. Our usually order is hot dishes from the Bain Marie. Highly recommend the beef rendang here - consistently good. This is what I always crave. Note - no weekend surcharge. Public holiday surcharge.

Huge portion, good taste and not so pricey. And they have the best indonesian style grilled fish. I was a regular at Nelayan city branch, until I tried

Foods pretty alright. Small adjustments would be nice, such as Fried rice could use a bit less oil, pempek was a bit too sweet. Not the best bang for your buck for your indonesian food needs, but if you're missing home. This can help a bit πŸ˜… If you want best pempek in Melbourne, go to Familiria or Kedai Satay, they're good and consistent. (Best in Melb is about 6.5-7/10 from the real deal)

First trip to Melbourne! Had lunch here with my family. Food was excellent and tasty, big portion and it was a hearty meal! It was very nice ambience, easy to find from where we took our tram. The service also very fast, the waiter was very welcoming to us, newcomers!

Delicious, authentic Indonesian cuisine. The lunch time combos are great value as are the a la carte dishes. Friendly helpful service with a smile!

The star of the show was undeniably the Pepes Ikan, a culinary masterpiece. The mackerel, delicately steamed in a banana leaf, was a testament to the chef's skillful mastery. The perfect blend of spices that left me yearning for more. The use of banana leaf not only added a delightful visual element but also imparted a subtle, earthy flavor that complemented the spcies beautifully. A must try!!
