This place is so well decorated it looks perfect in any angle. The pizza base made of spelt had a nice aroma coming out when you chew it. The pasta and slow braised lb shoulder were very yummy too. If you're not a drinker, don't try their shots. But if you are, you'll have a blast!

Fantastic! Love the atmosphere there especially in a freezing winter night! The pizzas were so delish with yummy cheese and mushrooms and spaghetti with prawns presented in a graceful balance. (Note: Friends said the spaghetti a bit hard to chew but it was exactly my favourite hardness. So it’s up to personal preference I guess.) I’ve already booked my next visit!

The pizza and pasta are both amazing. What's even better is that they have a menu for people with gluten/dairy intolerance and for vegetarian/vegan options. Everyone is friendly and the service is great. Thank you 😊

Blown away!! Im originally from NYC and haven't found anything that can challenge New York pizza in Melbourne until now. Ordered the margarita and Buffalo, both of which were phenomenal. Loved the twist by using farro. Staff were very nice and it was overall a great lunch

Wow, a really impressive restaurant! They have warm and adorable staffs and wonderful food. Both pizza and pasta are great! We went several times, we tried different flavors of pizza and pasta. Prosciutto and green rigatoni are we favorite. You can just select any of those dishes. It will definitly surprise you.

What a beautiful surprise that was! I didn’t know their pizzas are made with 100% spelt flour which I thought may compromise the taste but it didn’t! Very tasty pizza with a grainy base due to the spelt flour. The place had great cocktails, a charming Italian feel and blended in with the edgy Fitzroy vibe. Definitely check them out if you are looking for an Italian with a bit of a twist!

It’s a busy spot but very nice. We were seated along the window and it was nice to sit and see what was happening. Great service and great tasting food. Portions were very fair. Ingredients tasted quite fresh.

First at at Farro and love it. Delicious pizza - the dough is light and delicious- and the one that we chose was simple amazing! - Special: cheese, onion and prosciutto - Roast pumpkin, goat cheese and feta Friendly service, nice atmosphere and busy on a Sunday night in Fitzroy. I’ve hear about the Tiramisu, so I’m definitely coming back to try!

We re-visited Farro last night for my birthday celebration of 6 people and it didn’t disappoint. We are from Echuca and travel to enjoy Melbourne on special occasions. The service was fantastic - we got stuck in traffic and updated staff and they were completely understanding and accommodating. The food came out fast and hot and was absolutely delicious. Two of our guests ordered off the vegan menu and were raving about the polenta chips. I myself loved the spaghetti with meatballs, and herb focaccia. Our second visit and was just as great as the first time. The staff also sang me happy birthday and gifted me a delicious chocolate gelato scoop! Can’t wait to come back again!

Such a lovely restaurant and incredible food. You could tell the food was made with a lot of love and care, and it has a separate vegan menu which is amazing. We wanted to try so many things, so will have to come back soon. Pictured is the Vegan Patate E Tartufo.

They really loaded up the truffle on my pizza after i said how much I love it. Ordered here a few times, getting different things each time and they’ve all been lovely. Lots of vegan options.

This place is quirky. The food is amazing. Our server was quietly amazing and pays attention to details. The meatballs...yummy. Everything was good we over ate. Would love to go again.

Really lovely wood fire pizza place with awesome staff, quality and friendly service, and a chilled out interior. Prices were about $20-30 for a pizza or pasta dish depending on what you were after. Pizzas were large. Great for sharing! Lots of vegan options!!

Food was great. Pizzas were one of the best I’ve had. Mulled wine was a little disappointing. Restaurant was completely full with tables sitting so close to each other that you have to ask people to move so you can walk in and out. Definitely they didn’t follow covid restriction so if you are a bit skeptical, best to just get takeaway.

One of my favourite restaurants in Melbourne! i celebrated my birthday here and they surprised me! Brought my partner here the other and we both loved it! The manager remembered me ❤️ The experience, ambience, food, and most importantly , the customer service, were amazing! We’ll definitely come back again!

Had a nice dinner here, all dishes ordered from the vegan menu. Recommend the garlic foccacia and the truffle potato pizza. Could tell that staff were under the pump but they were attentive and the food was worth the wait.

Reserved a 15-person dinner at Farro to bring my American family and Aussie friends together, and we had a truly enjoyable time. The service, ambiance, cuisine – every aspect of the experience was delightful. Highly recommend for larger gatherings and planning to return for future special events. A little bit over hyped but still good food. Garlic focaccia was not focaccia at all but just pizza dough cooked with garlic and oil (still yummy but could’ve been more accurately described). We ordered the Buffalo mozzarella pizza ($4.5 more than the Margarita) because we love cheese and the pizza came with only 3 small pieces of buffalo mozzarella to split among 6 slices of pizza - terrible value. Pesto Gnocchi was yum and some bites were so flavourful. Mushroom gnocchi was also good. Overall was good to try but probably wouldn’t go back.

Love the vibe. The pizza was alright (lacks salt, in my opinion). Service was bad as our food took quite some time to arrive. Everyone has eaten even though we were first to arrive and order. Worth a try.

The over-marketed pizza shop is very ordinary, with no fragrance, and the sauce of potato dumplings has no pistachio flavor at all. Even the salty waiter is rude when packing pizza. I hope to train the chef's skills and the waiter's service level.

Great spot on Brunswick for a quick bite - or a long slow romantic pizza dinner. Nice spacious seating, really friendly people and a great atmosphere. We had a red and a white based pizza and they were both perfect. Cold beer and reasonable prices - what more could you want!

Highly recommend this Pizza Restaurant in the heart of Fitzroy. Been here 3 times now & on all 3 occasions was a very friendly, happy, warm & welcoming vibe from all the workers - especially Christos. There are loads of Veggie options & they can also do Gluten Free. Salads are delicious & the wine is a high quality & well priced. Pizzas are delicious - generous toppings, fresh & great value for money. Made a fuss of my friend for his Birthday which was lovely. Look forward to eating here again soon - felt very looked after. This is what all hospitality venues should feel like - thank you very much.

Rarely write reviews but this place is 100% a 5 star for me. Staff, possibly manager or owner kept to his word and got us a table within the time frame he said. Pizza was authentic and amazing. Music that was playing was great. Rest of the food my friends ordered was just as amazing as the pizza. Staff were welcoming and genuinely happy to be working there. Will come back again, I recommend.

It's a great pizza, but pretty average when compared to other pizza joints. There is no bad, or great to it. No highlights, but mo minuses either, it's a decent solid pizza especially with their unique dough they use for a niche market.

Just had some takeaway pizza from the Fitzroy restaurant and it was exceptionally good tonight. The pizzas are always very good. The crust is chewy, thin in the middle and a bit of nicely puffy crust on the edge. We usually get the potato and truffle and an ortolana but tonight got a Margarita and the zucchini. Lovely sweet pumpkin with cheese, rocket and walnut. With the COVID special of 2 pizzas for $40 it was an absolute bargain

This was my fourth time eating at Farro Pizza Fitzroy- the staff are so lovely. On this occasion, they fit in a dinner table for 15 with minimal fuss- I’ve found securing large dinner bookings to be difficult elsewhere in Melbourne. Also, legitimately my favourite pizza in all of Melbourne. I love that they have an extensive menu to cater for vegans and different dietary requirements. That made accomodating everyone at dinner very pleasant. Everyone was happy and will go again.

Such AMAZING food and friendly staff (very well priced as well). Perhaps the best gnocchi I have ever had. It was our first time at Farro’s but we can’t wait to go back! Thank you for such beautiful service, your staff are lovely :)

Have to give this place 5 stars. I was pleasantly surprised with how good these pizzas where not being wood fired (as far as I could see not wood fired) the base was so thin and crunchy but somehow managed to stay crunchy throughout. Most pizzas 5 min in start to send the base soggy. There was no overload of olive oil everything was just right. Even the salami was thinly sliced and crispy was all perfect to be honest. Highly recommend.

One of the best pizza places in Melbourne. We went there last night. From the time we entered to the restaurant and came out, its been an amazing experience. Staff were really good in understanding our dietary requirement and giving us all all the options. Pizzas were simply delicious and would definitely recommend it.

One of the best Italian pizza and pasta I’ve had in Melbourne. Full of taste and yet kind to your tummy. Good beer on tap too. Also staff are friendly and helpful with our needs for the little kid.
