This practice is excellent. There's lots of female doctors too and all the doctors who I have had appointments with have been thorough with my ailments. I definitely have never felt rushed. Reception staff are helpful and efficient. Clean, bright, large waiting room with comfortable seats. Easy parking.

After many years of avoiding going to the doctors after several bad experiences, I extensively researched and found South Yarra Medical. It is without a doubt the best practice I’ve been to, and the staff there were excellent in recommending a doctor suitable to my needs. Dr Robert was professional, efficient and communicated so effectively with knowledge that all my thoughts and issues are now resolved and I now have peace of mind. I couldn’t highly recommend a better service than what I have received from him and the team at South Yarra Medical. A true example of what a practice should be.

So lucky so have this clinic locally. The doctors are always knowledgeable, kind and most importantly on time. They have a large range of availability and open times to accomodate busy schedules. Cannot speak highly enough. So grateful to have a reliable local clinic that I can trust.

Dr Dorothy has been my GP for a year now since my move from GC, with not having a social support structure she has provided me the best medical care I’ve ever received, she continuously has shown me support, authentically caring and she was the first Dr I’ve ever been able to open up to. Thank you to Dr Dorothy, Dr McCubbin and the SYM Team for handling my jokes, and watch me go from running in late, to how you know me as a patient now. I cannot express enough gratitude to you all and I don’t think I’ll be able to repay you for what you all have done for me, but I guess this is a start🌈🐝.

Last week was my first time attending the clinic and can honestly say, being a new patient I had the most wonderful experience at South Yarra medical. Greeted with the most lovely staff, and can not say enough how amazing Dr Emma was. The first time I’ve felt heard and understood by a GP, and was provided so much support and guidance around my ongoing treatment. I can not recommend this clinic enough!! 12/10

Whilst my initial years as a patient at South Yarra Medical were completely satisfactory, the recent period of my serious Health issues has increased my reliance on their service and I could not be pleased at a time when I felt most vulnerable and uncertain. In addition to the expected professional treatment from the South Yarra Medical team I also appreciated their attitude that I could call on them at any time when felt in need or uncertain of my situation.

It was great to see Ben Webb back at the South Yarra practice. He provided his usual level of attention and expertise.

I have been going to this clinic for the past 3 years. The doctors are very professional and most importantly compassionate and empathetic. I was bale to get a diagnosis with one of the GPs, after not being able to do so with multiple doctors at various clinics for many years.

Came in yesterday for a blood test, if u are terrified of needles and are prone to fainting like me honestly this is the best place to come they are so lovely here. I didn’t catch the ladies name but she talked me through the whole situation and was very helpful thankyou so much for be so kind and understanding not like other places.

Have been a patient here for almost 6 years now, and the care is always exceptional. Shame Dr Ben Carison left as he was a fantastic, caring, and knowledgable GP. His patients are lucky wherever he is! With Dr Carison no longer available, was lucky to have Dr Cindy Holden for this year, and she is hands down the best GP I have ever had. Shame she’s currently only consulting in the pregnancy clinic, her care and expertise will be greatly missed in this time. South Yarra Medical is the best GP practice in town, and I’m confident the next GP taking over my care will be good too. NOTE TO SY MEDICAL: Reception and waiting area is clean and welcoming, HOWEVER, the toilets are beyond shocking and in urgent need of renovation. The only thing that detracts from this wonderful place unfortunately, and toilets say a lot about an establishment. Is there any plan to refurbish these facilities?

First visit there today, the reception staff and the doctor were both excellent, really friendly and professional. I saw Dr Ramyaa Muruganandah, she has a natural care and empathy about her. Would highly recommend her as a great female doctor.

I have been going to South Yarra Medical for nearly 15 years, and seen a variety of doctors there. They have all been very nice and highly competent, and routinely go above and beyond, in my experience. I have never once felt rushed while seeing a doctor there, and yet I don't think I have ever had to sit longer than a few minutes, if that, in the waiting room. The people on reception are excellent too. Naming no names, but there have been times when I have gone to other practices and been reminded that all this is not necessarily the norm!

My wife became ill with a glandular infection on our holiday to Melbourne from Townsville. From the friendly reception team to thorough and friendly, Dr Dorothy Yue, we were made to feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble.

Just been here to receive a shot for something. Great team from receptionist to doctors to nurses. The nurse that gave me my shot today was an absolute pleasure and damn the girl knows how to give a needle. Like it never happened. 5 stars for these guys. Happy i found them.

My partner visited this clinic last week due to concerns about an ongoing pain. After being instructed to undergo an ultrasound and waiting for several days, he received a message from the clinic stating that the results were normal. However, the pain persists. There was no call or offer for him to inquire further, just a very impersonal email instructing him to schedule another GP appointment if he has questions. The treatment appears overly impersonal with no human touch at all.

I have been visiting the clinic for many years now & can highly recommend it. The entire team is friendly, compassionate & professional. Dr Tessa King has been my GP for several years & I cannot speak highly enough of her. She has provided me with exceptional care, and I would not hesitate to refer her to friends and family.

My favourite clinic ! I was previously signed up to another one and had a terrible experience with staff and doctors. I found this one on google, checked on reviews and chose a doctor I thought would be good for me. I was not wrong ! I am with Dr Cindy Holden and I love her ! She is attentive, she cares & listens. I finally felt I found someone who can understand my issues and does not dismiss my symptoms of endometriosis, and I was not wrong. She had directed me to good facilities for in depth checks, scans and blood tests. I really felt understood and not dismissed, and taken care of. I am now pregnant and Dr Cindy Holden is taking care of me and I am super grateful for having such an amazing doctor <3

I love it here. Doctors address every single concern and make a plan with you to find a solution/to work on the matter, and take all matters seriously - even a common cold. I can trust I am in good hands no matter who I see (sometimes my regular practitioner is not available and I see someone else if the matter is minor). There is often a wait even if you have booked an appointment, but when it comes to my health, I'll wait knowing they will provide. If you are sick, just know you might have to wait outside, and will be called via phone, and may not be seen physically - to keep everyone else safe. Makes sense to me. I got seen in a isolation room so I was fine with that.

I can't imagine ever seeing any doctor other than Dr Lauren Chan! She has been providing me with excellent health care and advice based on research and science. She is easy to talk to and truly cares about me as her patient. As a person with complex medical needs, I'm really grateful to have found such a great GP.

As a first time patient and someone who also works within the health industry, I can comfortably say that I have found my new regular doctor! Dr Kari made me feel at ease from the moment I walked in and explained realistic outcomes. She gave me incredible women’s health advice and had the most delightful non-judgemental demeanour- something that is rare when talking about certain sensitive topics. 10/10. Thank you for allowing me to walk out of the clinic feeling so confident and ready to tackle anything!

Dr Dwyer is one of the most caring doctors out there. She is very thorough, and personable - she helped me through a year and a half of cancer treatment and the post-treatment care has been amazing too. Dr Hickman is also incredible, she helped get the scans I needed in the early stages of diagnosis extremely quickly, and it made a huge difference. Thank you lovely ladies!! I can't thank you enough for the level of care you gave me.

Whilst on holiday in South Yarra, I developed tooth abscess and required antibiotics and some pain relief. The staff and doctor at South Yarra Medical were brilliant from start to finish. I got the earliest appointment available and was seen on time by the loveliest, caring doctor. I can't thank them enough.

Receptionists were very switched on, nice & polite. Dr Ben Carison was polite, straight to the point and seemed to know his stuff! Only first visit, but all seemed very good!

As I was a new patient I arrived 15 minutes earlier at the clinic for my appointment but since i had flu like symptoms i was asked to wait outside the clinic. I was literally standing outside the clinic feeling very unwell, unfit and dizzy. After waiting outside the clinic for 15 minutes standing in the cold weather i went back in to the clinic at which point the receptionist informed me that the doctor was running late due to which to further wait outside for yet another 10 minutes or so. The receptionist was rude and unkind.

I would not go to another medical centre. The doctors are extremely professional and make you feel comfortable at all times. Highly highly recommend.

The worst experience with a GP I have ever had in my 34 years. When I asked him what the diagnosis was he said “hard to tell really”... There was no knowledge, no sound advice and clearly I was misdiagnosed as he was too afraid to do a thorough check as I was experiencing “flu symptoms” and I am still very sick. I did a rat test prior to my appointment as Dr Timothy requested and he didn’t even asked to see it. He made me feel very uncomfortable, and I paid $55 to have my time completely wasted.

Attentive and polite female Receptionist. Dr Cindy Holden is one of the best there. She listens to you carefully and asking lots of important questions and give you a recommendations.

This place is great! Dr Ramyaa is the best GP I have ever experienced and is both lovely and very knowledgable, and Dr Tim is great too, who I have seen when Dr Ramyaa was unavailable. The reception and nursing staff are also really efficient and nice to deal with - you are in very safe hands with these guys :)
