Love this place. Bought a lovely plant. The staff is absolutely fantastic. So helpful and friendly. So much variety and people who love plants, would want to buy everything. On the other hand, i would not recommend the restaurant. The food is just below average and our mains were given before our starter and even got the order wrong. I would recommend just having drinks to cool down whilst shopping.

I had the best experience with Carmen from Cape Garden Centre today. I was looking for something that I didn't see on their website then I called them and spoke to the lovely Carmen and sent her a Pic of what I was looking for. Today my car is in for repairs and I couldn't get out there and she basically personally shopped everything I needed and sent me pics to make sure I am happy with the items chosen. Normally they don't deliver on the same day but I explained that I am having an outdoor little get together and really wanted to show off my new garden and she then made the effort of making the same day delivery happen. This is what service should look like in SA. We get so use to bad service that when we receive great service we are shocked. This shouldnt be the case. Thank you Carmen and Cape Garden Centre for making my day a special one. I appreciate and will always shop and recommend you guys!!! And for the twin bosses... Stop confusing us hehehehe!! Worth taking the trip from Somerset West. It's one massive well cared for green experience. The 'guides' patient and very helpful. The cuisine at the restaurant - as kid said - amazing. On the whole a spirit booster like non other.🤩

There's something for everyone here. Great place to visit if you're looking for a variety of plants, pots and garden goodies. Prices are very competitive, staff friendly and there's a bunch of cute stores, stands and places to eat. We love walking through the nursery to pick out new plants and then lunching at the Bamboo restaurant.

The most beautiful garden centre! The flowers are beautiful and they have a range of plants that you will struggle to find anywhere else. The plants 🪴 are healthy and strong plants and the most beautiful variety of the same plant. I have most definitely over spent but it is okay 👍 I took some photo's but it just don't do any justice to the beauty of this place!

Lovely garden centre with everything you need for your garden including water features. I love the restaurant and all the little shops around. The restaurant has a little kids play area either jungle gym etc. Great coffee milkshake. We only had toasted sandwiches which were very good but proper lunch meals going passed us to other tables looked wholesome and tasty.

Amazing lady who helped and got to taste some amazing local wine at great prices. A very relaxed space and love that all red and white wines and gins are all local items in store. Highly recommended especially after a great meal at the cafe and walk around the stunning plants and pots

I absolutely loved it. The flowers are beautiful and the prices are reasonable as well. Managed to find a gorgeous water feature. Staff were incredibly helpful. All in all a really lovely experience. Will definitely be back.

We had a family lunch at the Bamboo restaurant. Well priced, good service and all in our party of 13 was satisfied with the food. Manly an international cousin based around burgers and wraps.

Wow what a lovely young man who helped me as I am temporarily invalid. Edwin fetched and brought me exactly what I wanted and had the patience of a saint as I walked in my walker. For my next visit, I would love to have a wheelchair experience. Do you have a wheelchair that I could Use whilst at your beautiful nursery

A hidden gem that I will make known among my friends. Owen, assisting us was friendly and knowledgeable. Good affordable prices and we found just what we had come for 😀

I am not much of a gardener although I love the ambience my wife has created in our garden. But, this means I have to go garden shopping with her most times. And, of all the garden shops she has dragged me to in and around Cape Town, this one is the best by a country mile. The whole layout and tranquil atmosphere just makes me want to sit down on a swing under a tree, open my newspaper and snap my fingers for a glass of red wine. Alas, my wife wants to continue her shopping trip from one amazing section to the next. The only thing that keeps me going is the excellent service and knowledge of the staff. The drawback of this is naturally that we, yes we, buy more that what my wife originally intended to buy. I am sure my wife will have to go there again this weekend.

My favorite nursery. All your fruit tree, vegetable and herb needs if you want to start or maintain a food garden.

Huge property with everything you would need for your garden, and I didn't know you need 😉. It is more of an experience than a shopping experience. There is a massive play area for the kids and food on offer. The staff are kind,helpful, and professional. The whole center is immaculate. You can see the precision and detail how every plant,tree, accessory, paver, and garden tools are displayed. I was really impressed. Well worth the visit.

Great variety of plants and cosy coffee, gift and other novelty shops. Great variety of seedlings, shrubs, trees and succulents. Pots and containers to suit your beautiful plants. Need a pump for the irrigation, pop-in and get advice. Access road has been tarred. Lots of parking. Playpark for the children.

It's an absolute pleasure walking around at Cape Garden Joostenberg. There's eating areas with beautiful soothing music and the atmosphere is pleasant. Helpful friendly staff.

Amazing experience and the service when in need of guidance when you select plants is fantastic. The plants at this nursery are healthy, and al the plants that I bought on previous occasions are still growing. There is also a wide variety of pits and garden decor, and one seems to lose yourself amongst all the beautiful things. Take time and stop at the coffee shop for a nice breakfast or snack, worth it....
