Good Service and awesome food 🦐 Our quick lunch getaway on a Friday afternoon 😁 Still enjoying the yummy prawns

Food was great.....we where a group of 13 people .....our waiter was patient and sooo very friendly. My kids really enjoyed the sushi....while I definitely enjoyed the prawns special. Thank u Ocean Basket Boksburg for the great service.

We visited this branch for the first time, I was pleasantly surprised by how big it is, plenty seating inside and outside. They weren't very busy. The service was chilled, but we didn't feel neglected. We visited for dinner and the food was amazing! The crusted kingklip is next level, if you enjoy Kingklip normal you MUST try it this way (my new favorite). Our dessert was a little frozen but it still tasted good.

Usually the food and service is great. Today however, I phoned to place an order for collection, they said it would be 20min. I arrived 30min after phoning and was left waiting for 15 more minutes whilst I could see my order was ready. The food was cold and the piece of fish (famous fish&chips), was literally the size of my palm. Very disappointed!

I have been eating at Ocean Basket for many years and this is the first time that the food tasted like a plate of salt. I was extremely disappointed. It Is our favorite seafood place but just today did not work out for us.

Excellent family restaurant. I like their slogans! Food always tasty and good vibe. Service is good. Manager stood around, but did not go from table to table.

Went for date night, and the waiters were so incredible! The restaurant was busy, and yet the food came within 10min of ordering it. Fresh, tasty, well cooked. Never waited long for anything Throughly enjoyed it and is definitely the Ocean Basket of choice.

Poor experience. Took about 30 minutes for our order to be taken. Food was fresh and tasty however.

Had a lunch date with my cousin.The eatery and staff were welcoming and the food was served warm. enjoyed my date and will definately visit once more. In terms of parking, there was more than enough parking space.

We got take Aways as a nice Friday treat. Asked for chilli and had to pay an extra R10 for it? You eat in store and you get that plus garlic and sauce and bread for free. Rip off. Do better.

The food was the best i have ever eaten at Ocean basket and for the service that was fantastic our waiter Desmond was the star of the day. THANK YOU SO MUCH

Gugu was fantastic, remembered everyone's orders, knew all the options on the menu, didn't have to wait long for service from her or look for her as she was just there ready. Food was fantastic and exactly as ordered.

Food was very salty. When we mentioned to the waiter. He said we should've told him when we started eating. Then he would exchange it. But then again...He's service was slow and we waiting a long time for the bill. Waiter Tich

I have eaten at Ocean Basket restaurants around the country and generally the experience is very very positive. Typically I eat their grilled hake. This time I went big and got two of their sushi platters. They are pricey but that is what to expect with freshly made sushi. The product quality and visuals was Top Class.

The staff were friendly and service was good. My wife had the Mezze plater, unfortunately there was quite alot of salt on most the fried items. Other then that it was good.

Ocean Basket, the meal was moderate at best. the lemon butter sauce could have been served on the side especially when my hake, calamari and prawns were drenched in it. at the end of the meal there was enough to add to another dish. the grilled hake should be shown, it would've looked lovely. could it please be de-boned? it takes away the whole dining experience when a person has to spit out bones after every few bites. everything was well seasoned. i enjoyed the mini ciabata before the main meal. if you can serve the sauce on the side and take extra care with the fish it would improve the whole dining experience. it also gives me a chance to use the garlic, the tartare sauce and chilli. Thank you for the meal. the Staff was wonderful.

The fresh warm bread, the beautifully cooked seafood platter, and then the delicious desserts. As a family we were very happy that day. Ocean Basket will always be a favourite for us

Was average, food good... our waiter was ok... took just long to come and check if our drinks was ok.... had to wait a while for our bill... but generally average

The center is fine. Nothing much to offer. The nice thing about it is the meat and tender restaurant.

Usually food is excellent, this time calamari was worse than rubber. Manager said it was received from their Head Office, like that, for past 3 weeks. Shouldn't sell sub-standard food to unsuspecting public. Accepted Managers apology.

If you want value for money,then this is the place to enjoy a quiet meal. We were also served by a pleasant young waiter called Lucky. But for covid, I think there would have been more people enjoying scrumptious seafood at a well maintained place.
