Great selection of food and cocktails. The restaurant has an eclectic vibe and super friendly staff.

I wouldn't have considered going here when driving past. But my husband decided to surprise me with something different for my birthday. And what a great place it is! Tasty food, good portions. Friendly staff, tranquil setting. Loved everything about it!

Fusionista had come highly recommended, and I got off to a good start here. Really nice set up, and the welcome was great. Staff are obviously well trained in hospitality and the service from my waiter was excellent. Tried their Thai ginger smoothie and it was awesome. Opted for the Thai chicken spring rolls for the starter, and these were nicely sized and generously filled. I had the spring rolls with sides of sweet chilli sauce and a spicy peanut sauce. All good. For the mains, ordered my favourite Thai chicken green curry. What a pity! It was watery, bland and there was no trace of the to- be- expected flavour, nor Thai vegetables. Instead there were chopped green peppers in excess. I did not finish my meal.

Must visit! I've heard talk around town of this spot, decided to give it a try and wasn't disappointed. Extensive really isn't a fitting description of their menu, it's a plethora of dishes, drinks, and so much more. Definitely worth a visit, amazing staff, all safety protocols followed to the T. Can't wait to go back.

This restaurant is a hidden gem! I had an absolutely awesome time, the decor is beautiful and the staff very friendly and know what they are doing. The selection of meals and drinks are vast and the plating of the sushi was phenomenal. 5 stars and I cannot wait to go back for more! Thanks Fusionista!

Expect a real taste of Thai. The décor and ambiance is amazing. Like other reviewers, I found the prices to be a little high. The menu is huge. Almost too big. There are dozens of dishes to choose from, and not being an expert did not help. Eventually you end up opting for a recommendation from the waiter, which is not ideal, but better than ordering something and regret it. So either do some reading up and research on Thai food before you go, out just dig into three different dishes. All in all a very good experience. Recommended from my side.

This is our absolute favorite restaurant and a total hidden gem. We had our wedding reception here with very little warning and George was absolutely accommodating of everything we wanted. We ordered a variety of dishes as canapés and literally every single dish was incredible. We couldn't even get a single picture of the food because it disappeared so quickly! All the guests loved the food and the ambiance. I would have my wedding here again a hundred times over. What a wonderful place with the most incredible food.

THIS is a hidden gem ... A wonderful SECRET and romantic place. Thai food PERFECTED!!! From the moment we entered to the leaving, we were treated like Royalty. Thanks Folks ... We WILL be back soon! Madamé loves duck dishes .. And is partial to a good pie ... They make small ones for lunch ... And big one's for dinner. The new manager (1st day) turned down our order for the Duck and Cherry pie. He was uncertain about it provenance (Day 1 remember). Now that's the quality and INTEGRITY that I seek. We opted to have crispy duck ... Which was simply sublime and we unreservedly recommend it. Upon arriving, we were ushered to the small bar area, while our table was prepared ... As I had requested in advance. Well the pictures should tell you the story ... Madamé was suitably touched ... As much as she was mesmerised by the fish in the built in wall tank at the end of our table! Our waiter Marc was incredible and received a 20% tip ... The whole experience and was wonderful and worth much more than the cost to us. Thanks Folks ;-)

I was thoroughly impressed with this restaurant! The atmosphere was so calming, our waiter was super friendly and helpful, and above all the food was honestly the best food I've tasted in a very very long time! Each dish I ordered impressed me with how delicious it was! 10/10 would go again, and so worth the price! I'm very happy.

We celebrated my daughter's birthday at Fusionista. We absolutely loved it. Joshua, our waiter was fantastic, very informative about how the ordering process works at Fusionista, and his service was impeccable. The manager and the staff are very friendly and on the ball. The food is delicious, and the portion sizes are very generous. The Restaurant is very beautiful, with beautiful artifacts, paintings, plants, a beautiful water spring at the entrance and a magical aquarium that houses the most beautiful fish. We kept admiring and visiting the fish during the night. Thank you Fusionista for the beautiful experience, we will definitely come again soon. Highly recommended.

Huge choice on the menu. We ordered edamame beans and sushi. Really yummy. Will be back. Only thing that loses them a star is the state of the menus - they really need to be cleaned!!!!

Really nice experience if you are adventurous and enjoy Asian food. This has been our second visit and will not be our last. The menu is large and needs some time to go through!!! We enjoyed the sushi, prawns, pad Thai and awesome cocktails!!!

A hidden gem in the Randburg area. The food and service is beyond amazing. Waiters are friendly, timeous and check up often. The menu has a wide array of dishes thus providing many options. Portions are great. Would definitely recommend this place.

The food was awesome, a large menu with great options. They have a separate vegetarian menu as well. The service was great. The waiters were attentive. We were celebrating a birthday and the staff were kind enough to keep the place open later than usual.

There is a reason why this spa keeps winning awards. Fusionista is, by far, the most unsuspecting gem in Joburg! From the outside, it looks like a scene from a weird action movie, but once you’re inside you are treated like absolute royalty. There is safe parking, sufficient space in the treatment rooms, well trained therapist, and many personal touches that make the experience so worthwhile. As much as I love the spa, do yourself a favour and visit the adjacent restaurant. I have never been disappointed with the food or excellent service. This is my weekly getaway spot and I definitely would recommend it for any occasion!

Crispy duck with oyster sauce and added chilly-soy sauce. The best in town, according to hubby. I just tried the prince prawns with honey and sesame seeds, with egg fried rice and lemongrass... Seriously delicious. Great service as always.

Partner and I went there yesterday for his birthday lunch. The place is beautiful and the decor is authentic and warm. Despite a few minor mishaps, our awesomely kind and friendly waiter Prosper handled everything with a smile. George, the manager, is very accommodating and passionate about each guest having a top notch experience. Thanks guys. We will be back.

A really wonderful night out. A warm welcome and outstanding service. The eastern cuisine menu is comprehensive and our food was absolutely delightful. Decent sized portions for a fine dining restaurant. The prices represent excellent value in terms of the quality. The wine list is less comprehensive than the menu, but something for everyone. If you want to treat and impress a Special Someone, I recommend Fisionista.

Had dinner here for the first time and they were understaffed resulting in a very disappointing experience. The manager tried to help out but based on this experience don't think we'll go back. Thanks to the young gent who stepped in and tried to help.

The Pad Thai beef was exceptional, loved the sushi with prawn on top but pricey, the Cashew nut chicken was nice but the crispy duck was overpriced and very disappointing. We all loved the sorbet, very interesting flavours and colours. The decor was gorgeous, very colourful and unusual!
