We have ordered several cakes from here for my children's birthdays and we have always been very impressed with the results. Most recently we ordered a cake for my daughter's first birthday and we loved the final product. It looked and tasted amazing.

I'm sure others have had a great experience, but we're left highly disappointed with what we received. We ordered a simple 'Marble Mud Cake' for our 2 year old's birthday with family and what we got was a dry vanilla cake with some ganache. We can live with the dry cake maybe because it was an eggless cake, but it wasn't what we ordered. Disappointed for our little one. Not again!

** ATTENTION ALL COELIACS ** Yummy Gluten Free treats are here! I’ve been searching for months and months for somewhere yummy 🤤 to get GF treats and most places are a disappointment. I am at Northmead village every week but I had somehow missed this gem! I wandered in today and got a GF apple pie, GF caramel slice and a coffee. Coffee was delicious- the best coffee I’ve had from anywhere in recent memory. The first young girl who served me today was not the best, asking “is that all?” “is that all?” “is that all?” After every choice. NO. That’s NOT all. I’m buying more! 🤪 But when I was paying, another lady came to the counter and I made a passing comment “I wish I could have that cake GF”.. and she said they can make anything GF, egg free, vegan etc. One item of Improvement could be better signage on the GF cabinet as I had assumed only the items next to the signs were GF, not the whole cabinet!

Really moist and delicious cake! My wedding guests gave so many compliments on how good the cake tasted! The decoration wasn't exactly what I had in mind but it was still beautiful. Originally I had asked for semi-naked but it came close.

I sent Wayne a design with some personalisation of either colours or pictures. His creations are better then my expectations with attention to detail. I have been awed with his creativity & presentation of the cake. The cakes has been continental, which were tasty & moist. Absolutely love the service provided by Wayne & his team at Cake Mania. This place is amazing and made the deserts for both of our engagement parties. They were able to make tasty themed gluten free cakes, cookies and cupcakes and accomidate everyones dietary restrictions. Plus they looked amazing and everyone loved them. They deleivered the second lot to our house (cake on pokeball, cookies and cupcakes) and communication was good, the delivery person even helped me bring them in as there were multiple boxes. We still have the figurines in the freezer as they are too good to eat and it was nice to have some memotos to keep like the flowers from the first cake and the acrylic lighting bolt from the second. We will be back next year to have our wedding cake designed by Wayne as well. We look forward to seeing what creative ideas they come up with for our pokemon themed wedding. So exciting and will arrange cake tasting soon.

We have ordered a number of cakes through Wayne and Cake Mania over the past couple of years, Christening cakes, graduation cakes and birthday cakes. We have always been very impressed each time. My daughter has special dietary requirements and Wayne and Cake Mania is one of the very few places that will cater for her needs. I highly recommend Cake Mania. Wayne is very experienced and easy to talk to, the staff are helpful and lovely to interact with. This was my daughter's most recent birthday cake. She absolutely loved it and as usual it tasted even better. This cake was ordered as eggless, nut free and dairy free.

Chef Wayne and Cake Mania were amazing! The staff were so helpful when planning our wedding cake, arranging a taste trial and delivering to the venue. We had a lot of allergies to accommodate for (gluten, lactose, preservative, nut) and Cake Mania made a cake that not only looked but tasted delicious! Our guests were extremely happy with the product, as were we.

I had a photo in mind for the cake I wanted for my daughter‘s baptism and Wayne was so helpful. It was affordable. It looked beautiful. I went to the store yesterday and purchased a Gluten free/vegan chocolate and vanilla mudcake I was told. I was also told it's one of the most popular cake to be sold. This was the biggest cake available as we had a birthday party with 11 guests. As a celiac we have been buying alot of gluten free cakes and this is the worse cake we had. My son and the guests(children) said it tasted like play dough. Every single piece went in the bin. Happy to return the rest of the cake for you to try. Service was nice however the cake was a big let down.

The best cafe- our whole family loves it. Great coffee, amazing cakes and the best pies! Our little one loves the baby chinos. Such friendly service from lovely locals. We are there almost every day. Had pies from here for dinner last night and they are such great quality. White chocolate raspberry mud cake from here is my favourite for special occasions!

I have nothing but praise for Wayne and Cakemania! Thank you Wayne for saving the day by taking on my last minute order for a customized cake for my son's 5th birthday. I sent him a photo of how I'd like the cake and he replied very promptly with a reasonable quote and it was ready for collection 3 days later! It was beautiful and exactly what I wanted, and we have a very happy birthday boy 😊 The experience from the beginning to the collection of the cake was excellent and very pleasant and I'm sure I'll be a returning customer. My mum ordered me a cake as a surprise for my 30th Birthday and it was absolutely perfect. Wayne's service was amazing and understood every request my mum had. His attention to detail is outstanding. The cake looked sooooo cute and pretty in pink and it tasted delicious. I'm still eating the fondant makeup decorations 2 weeks later. It was the best cake I have ever had. :)

I thought it was going to be straightforward. I needed a Battenberg cake, and of the type my elderly mother remembered from her Irish childhood. It sounded pretty simple, but internet searches produced only a style that she specifically did not want. I rang a number of cake shops who didn't know what we were after at all. But when I rang Cake Mania, Wayne knew exactly what to do and produced a cake that brought my mother delight and matched her memories - it looked and it tasted just as it should. Made right and produced on time as promised. The price was very reasonable. Brilliant service! Highly recommended.

Please avoid this place, the owner is a liar. The cake has been like 5 days old and smells disgusting, and claims it’s fresh, the topping so oily. We never bought a cake this awful, and when tried to return he claims we ate it and wanted to return it. No basic customer communication skills.

I want to thank Wayne and the team at Cakemania for creating the most epic and amazing cake I have ever seen. I wanted something fun and to include a few different ideas. I wasn't sure if they could be blended into one cake but they were and the results were fantastic. I can't recommend cakemania highly enough. These GLUTEN FREE treats are absolutely incredible! So fresh and delicious. The lemon tart was my favourite, cherry pastry and caramel slice, all gluten free. I have missed out on many baked goods due to a recent diagnosis of CD and this is my new favourite local spot. Huge thank you to the team at Northmead for your friendly chat and service.
