Short version: you need to try this! Details: The chicken burgers are a must try, the fillet is perfectly cooked, crumbed to an ideal crispiness, the buns are soft and the size and value is well worth it. The fried chicken pieces combo is an awesome quick meal, chicken again is perfectly cooked. The fries are well seasoned and cut in a french fries style. I suggest a combo for best value. Service is quick, friendly and efficient. Dine in and take away. Enjoy!

I was recommended this place by a friend and I saw it used as a yardstick to go by when others were talking about crispy fried chicken. I decided to give it a shot and it did not disappoint. The chicken were freshly fried (which means you have to wait for a short while) but what you get is freshly prepared, deliciously deeply fried chicken that is crunchy with every single bite. If you are keen for something saucier, their mustard sauce is awesome too! Parking: there is nearby parking just outside and behind the shop. It was during Covid period when this review was done, and there was no dine-in. Public chairs and tables were also available.

If you read reviews about a place before going.... look no further your quest is complete. I don't exaggerate when I say I'd travel across Melbourne to come here. 4 years on from first coming here (but definitely not the only times I've visited), what can I say but consistent excellence. You can't say that about many places. Everything is excellent, from the burgers to the chicken to the nuggets and chips it's all top notch, always crispy and juicy but never greasy. In recent years since the potato shortages they swapped from shoestring to thicker chips. Personally I miss the days of the shoestring made to order hot and straight out of the fryer but the new sized chips fresh always make me realise if I never knew about the golden perfection of the past I'd be over the moon with the thicker ones. This sets the bar for fried chicken for all others. This sounds like a fake review....it's not.

Some deliciously well fried chicken. They nailed the batter. The chicken was juicy. And they gave an extra piece as we had a few smaller pieces. The reduction in stars was due to the fries which weren't too crispy when I arrived home. Needed to pop them in the airfrier as they were a little underdone. On the pricy end of chicken. The largest meal is a mini-box, suitable for 2. No family sized combos. The 5 piece family size was close to $20. Similar if not more attuned to Korean fried chicken prices.

Take away done right! This place is a gem. Fried chicken, non greasy, made fresh to order. They definitely don't use old oils here or sub par poultry. Friendly staff and high quality service. Well worth the 15min or so wait for fresh chicken, and they do inform you of the wait time too.

Ordered a Mini Box between two people and was plenty of food. The chicken was delicious and perfectly cooked! & still crispy even after a short (5-10 min) back to the office drive. The service was also great very friendly and welcoming even put in an extra piece of chicken. I will definitely be back and would recommend it.

No sign for surcharge but when I asked the cashier she said there was. Fresh chicken but it does come with price tag. Small chips is pretty small, not worth $3.95 (see photo for size comparison to maccas small fries)

Our local fried chicken shop and it is the best fried chicken I’ve ever had!!! Arshees consistently gives us amazing food, even after 2 years of coming back. Owners are super friendly and the chicken is absolutely delicious. Juicy and tender without being oily. I had the mini box between 2 people and it filled us up without leaving us with the god awful oily and guilty feeling you get after eating fried chicken. HIGHLY RECOMMEND getting the honey mustard sauce on the side. It is homemade and super yummy. Definitely should be your go to spot too.

I'd been meaning to try this place for a very long time given I'm a Blackburn local. Finally did so, and I'm glad that I did, I ordered the half dozen fried chicken wings. Crispy, crunchy and succulent. Best bit? I purposely put two in the fridge to see if they would be good cold. Fantastic as such with mayo and hot sauce straight out of the cold fridge hence don't be afraid to buy more for leftovers. Plus the owner is a top bloke who only cooks to order on the spot. No precooked KFC business.
