Yiamass Theio Theo ! πŸ‘ŒπŸ‡¬πŸ‡· Came here for a dinner and left an extremely happy man. We had a large table and the service was still fast and friendly. The starters were all very tasty and kept me going until the mains arrived. The mains were top notch tasty and the desserts finished us off nicely. They had the home made taste to it. The live music 🎢 was a very warm feeling and made me feel like a was back in Greece and the option for a dance or too is the best πŸ•Ί Location is easy to find. Plenty of parking around. Service was top notch considering it was a full house. Would recommend and return. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great food, quirky decor...loved the upside down buckets as light fittings. We had a banquet, a stream of food coming throughout the night, generous platters of dips, crusty bread, grilled fish, grilled prawns, calamari, salads, chicken skewers, lamb cutlets, rissoles and heaps of other stuff too numerous to mention. Desserts were also generous, freshly made with delicious coffees. Staff were super friendly and helpful as well. YUMMMMM!

We couldn’t have left more full πŸ˜‚ We ordered the banquet and it is INCREDIBLE value for money. You literally get to try everything on the menu. The staff were very helpful although under the pump. Food was delicious and authentic. Can’t wait to return.

Fantastic experience absolutely a foodacoma choose the banquet which was a great way to taste everything thing Greek style the only problem I had was that I needed a couple of extra stomachs it is massive from the entree to dessert and at very reasonable price of $60 per head which was great value. The service could not faulted they even provided take home trays for everything we could not consume. The beers were cold and the staff had another one ready as soon as we finished our first. Clean and tidy restrooms. Authentic Greek atmosphere everyone was joyful and friendly. Will definitely return.

Being of Greek descent, it can be difficult to find a restaurant with outstanding food. I've tasted Greek food in Los Angeles, Las Vegas and across Australia, but Theo Theo in Malvern has a genuine taste of Greece. The food was robust and perfectly cooked with flavours of tenderness and sweetness. From the moment you walked in, the service was impeccable. We were greeted with a smile and treated more like a friends than customers. I have to admit that Theo Theo has met all of my expectations, and I wholeheartedly urge you to visit if you want a taste of Greece. Keep up the fantastic work, Theo Theo crew and thank you for a memorable night.

My new favourite greek spot in Melbourne! Highlights were the lamb gyros, zucchini chips and grilled octopus. The dips were delicious but would recommend ordering pita (instead of the bread) and the fig salad was a little on the sweet side. Would definitely go back!

I love Greek food. I have been to Greece and love its freshness and its authentic flavours. Without a doubt, Theio is by far one of the best Greek restaurants I've eaten in in my life. Top 10 for sure in the world.

A wonderful dining experience, I celebrated my birthday with family and friends and the food, ( especially the seafood platter!) was delicious and plentiful. A night to remember and a big thank you to the staff for their warmth and genuine hospitality, even though understaffed they never ceased to be attentive, delightful and gracious throughout. A great night out for my family.

Extremely dissapointed. We ordered via Uber Eats and specifically asked for no sauce, tomatoes or onions on the first Souva and no tomato on the second Souva. As you can see from the image below the Souva came with everything we didn't ask for. The 1 x Star is for the delivery guy who trudged out in the rain to drop off a meal we couldn't even eat.

A wonderful Greek πŸ‡¬πŸ‡· experience. Restaurant was a recommendation, and what a good one at that! Staff were super friendly, providing highly customised service, and made sure to take care of the table. Didn't even need to lift a finger up for anything, as they thought about every need ahead of time. Food was delicious, an authentic experience and drinks were very well made. Lamb Gyros was juicy and had a great aftertaste. Recommend ordering the "Greek Chips" which was a perfect accompaniment to the overall dinner. Greek salad was also very filling, generous portions.

Great food, great atmosphere and great staff. We loved our visit to Theio Theo! Place was bustling with conversation, laughter and filled with Greek music from the live band. Food was amazing specially the seafood and meat platters. We were all in Greece that night. Massive thank you to the amazing staff at Theio Theo for making our night a special one. Highly recommend.

It's nice to enjoy good old fashioned authentic Greek dishes such as succulent white fish, all meat platters, zucchini fritters accompanied with fresh fluffy custard pie, orange cake and baklava all served with exceptional service with a smile from attentive waiters John and Sophia. We had a ball celebrating Johnny's 21st, and welcomed the food the next day. No wastage in tumultuous times. Hats off to you. Well Done. We'll be back! πŸ‘βœ…πŸ€—β€οΈ

This place has to be the best Greek restaurant in Melbourne. Firstly, the staff are so welcoming and attentive. Secondly, the food is gold standard! Good portion sizes... Thirdly, the atmosphere is great, the space is lovely and big. If you are looking for authentic Greek food then this is definitely the place to visit! Will definitely be going back on a regular basis.

If you're looking for authentic Greek food then this is your place! Great atmosphere and healthy portion sizes! Don't fill up on bread if you want to get to meat platter and the end! Perfect place for a group dinner.

Eight of us went for dinner last night. 3 had the Whiting. It was four bites for $36. Doesn't come with any sides, all extra. We were packed in like sardines, no social distancing. So noisy you couldn't talk to anyone. Chips weren't ordered for us, got told if you still want them it will be half an hour. The meat dishes were generous. But we won't be back.

Ate the banquet style meal here and I can't fault a single plate. The food was so fresh, so tasty and the service was exceptional (even apologised they were short staffed- I didn't notice) Lucky we got in early because it gets busy and I can understand why.... the food is amazing. I will be back, it was worth the drive!

We have been here before and hopefully it was a once off but food was dissapointing. It wasn't as good as previously occasions and didn't seem fresh at all, especially the Calamari and other seafood. Portion sizes and quality of food was not there. Very dissapointing. This was the feedback from most of the table.

had a fabulous birthday family meal last night. The food was fabulous, nice decor (white cloths etc), great staff, prompt service. Very obliging. Good value I thought. We had meat platters and salads, all was so tasty. Plus they didn't mind me bringing a cake in, assembled it with candles etc behind the scene and brought it out lit. Will be back!

By far the best Greek restaurant in Melbourne. Theo is there with his team, ensuring that the food is of the best quality. The bread rolls were so bloody fresh and the dips were next level, in particular the caviar dip. We had the chicken gyros, king prawns, lamb cutlets, chips, calamari, saganaki, capsicum feta, greek grass and beetroot. I have to say my favourite out of all of this was the saganaki and king prawns. I would highly recommend if you are going order as follows. Entre - Saganaki, bread (comes complementary) and dips Mains - King prawns and lamb cutlets with some greek grass as a side Desert - Galaktoboureko (you will not regret this) with some greek coffee. To note: We went on a Wednesday and it was packed so if you want a romantic quiet dinner this is maybe not the place for you. Better to go in a group to share then you can try more. I haven’t taken too many photos, however there are some reviews with good photos.

We were excited to try something new however we are disappointed. The salad had huge chunks of tomato and just nothing stood out. The eggplant dip was nothing like we had had before. The saving grace was the Calimari which was acceptable.

Absolutely amazing! The food is on another level. The staff are all very welcoming. Will definitely be back here again.

Awesome Greek food. We are a group of 5 guys who catch up at every 2 months or so and 1 of the guys know the owner well. So we get share platters , basically like an old school banquet. Dips, bread, saganaki, Grilled octopus, calamari, scallops, BBQ prawns, Gyros, meatballs, souvlaki, Greek salad, chips and then Greek coffee with sweets. Never disappointed, always full. Great Service

This was our first time dining with Theio Theo and will be definitely back! Fantastic service, friendly Staff & the food was sensational. Nice to see Theo making sure that each customer was taken care of during a busy Saturday.

Had dinner at this establishment. After reading the article in The Age, which gave this tavern excellent reviews. I thought it was a must to try. There is little to be said other than this was my best experience ever in a Greek tavern. The seafood fresh daily from what I gathered. The meats were excellent and well seasoned on the chargrill. The banquet for $70 cannot be finished. We ended up taking some leftovers home with us. Now let's get to the most important part of our digestive journey. The owner makes his own desserts which were phenomenal. I can thoroughly vouch for anyone to go there and enjoy an exemplary dinner.
