👍 Very basic sight but just what we wanted. Caravan very good other than the oven, rubber sill partly missing do have to add 15 mins to cooking time. 25 minutes to walk to sister site via Hurn woods. People often mention park, site, clean, nice, walk, road, spacious, caravan, lovely, sister,

Great place to use as a base to travel to other places of interest. Good site for families with dogs,as there's many local woodland walks. It is what it is.Nice clean, well kept site with no amenities. So not really suitable for children in my opinion. Also theres local shops and pubs,so not really a problem..The only problem,(major to some, minor to others),is the closeness to the A31 road. The site is right at the side of it,and so is noisey most of the time.Especially when drivers, usually motorbikes, seem to use it as a racetrack..It all depends on your needs to whether this site would be suitable to you...

A perfect little holiday park, the caravans are spacious and light, with plenty of space between each other. Each caravan has parking right beside it, and the park is clean and tidy. There is no entertainment on site but with this park you also get full access to all the activities and entertainment on the sister park Oak Dean, which is a short drive away (approx 600yrds) or a 20 minute walk through Hurn Forest. Traffic noise from the A31 (which runs right beside the park) can be loud at times through the night, but I'm a heavy sleeper and didn't affect me much. All in all, a perfect small holiday park for families who need a place to rest, relax and explore the surrounding areas

Can not fault this park. Excellent amenities nearby and on sister park. Caravan very spacious and modern with everything you need. Park very clean and well Maintained. We had an issue with a neighbours dog and ours but the park where fantastic. Highly recommend. The only downside was no outside chairs in the caravan

We were staying 10 minutes away at some lodges and wanted to extend our holiday where we were but couldn't so looked elsewhere and came across forest edge. We got such a great deal and wasn't expecting much but was so chuffed when we walked in, it had everything you needed and was so clean! Also the staff were very friendly. There's a lot nearby and your still practically on the edge of new forest so there's a nice woodland walk just opposite the park to take the dogs if you don't fancy driving. Monkey world and the tank museum is literally just around the corner too and Bournemouth is a great day out! There is another of their parks just up the road which has a pool, arcades etc but we didn't get a chance to visit. By staying at forest edge you automatically get passes to go there and can use all the facilities so that's a major bonus! Overall had a lovely stay!

Lovely site, quiet and relaxing. You can walk 15 minutes though the forest to the other Hoseason park, where you have indoor pool restaurant, kid's activities.

This is the 2nd time we have been here, 1st time in 2019. Lovely tidy quiet pleasant Caravan Park other than the busy road noise which to be honest never bothered us. Caravan very nice, Bed & Sofa very comfortable & Veranda nice to sit on .

Fantastic! Clean and spacious. I am allergic to dust and fur, I had absolutely no problems there! No itching,no sneezing! So, very happy holiday break.I would highly recommend it. Connection wasn't great, but, we were OK with it. Would visit again.

Lovely park, very clean and tidy. Looks very cared for. Caravans are nicely spaced out, clean and bright, with your own parking next to it. Not just crammed together like larger parks. Only slight problem is the traffic from the road and the haulage place next to it. I am a light sleeper and it takes a bit to get used to at night. But you can still hear birds singing and it evokes calmness. The walk around Hurn woods opposite the park is a perfect spot and enjoyable.

Contactless check-ins are amazing and love the key box idea, so handy not having to take your key everywhere with you. The caravan park was lovely and kept so clean, it's very small and quiet, the road is quite noisy when lorries came past but managed to sleep pretty well. All carvans has a nice space between and not all cramped together. The caravan was lovely inside and spacious for 4 people and a dog. The guy who was at the reception area what such a lovely friendly guy, there isn't anything on the park itself but you can take a 5min bike ride or a 20min walk to the sister campsite oakdene site which has bingo on, tribute acts and stuff for the kids which was all fantastic. You have to drive to Bournemouth town as a taxi is £35 one way (United taxi app) as they don't use Uber in the area either. The location of the campsite is located in between newforest and Bournemouth so we visited both and both beautiful. Had a fantastic time here and would definitely visit again, the other site looked really nice too! There is a Sainsbury's not far from forest edge park which is handy, you do have to drive alot rather than be able to use public transport as the bus to Bournemouth is around 1.5hour.

Great holiday, the noise from the road didn't bother us in the slightest. Fab facilities down at the sister site, a short drive or a walk through the forest. The walk is not signposted and we did take a wrong turn or 2! Turn right at the cluster of picnic benches!

Static caravan was clean, and beds made, etc. After a few days, however, as we had our dog with us, it would have been nice if there was disinfectant spray and a hoover (or brush), just to tidy round about. All that was provided was a small 30ml diluted washing up liquid (used all within 4 washes-so had to use sparingly). If we travel here again, I'll have to remember my cleaning kit 🤔 We were also located at the back of the site, which is right next to the main road and haulage company; we could hear cars throughout the night and the day.

Lovely for a short quiet break the only issue is the clubhouse is on the sister site which is abit of a long walk through wood

The staff seem okay at first but really suck. The rooms are nice and clean. The on site facilties are decent.

Very nice and clean rooms. Good prices too. The location was not great as you can hear all the cars from street. All the rest, great.

A bit expensive but the rooms are decent. Most have one big bed for the adults and two smaller ones for the children. In the main building, there's a pool (free of cost) , entertainment center which sometimes has bingo and an arcade!

This is our second time here,. Great location for visiting other places. It is close to the road so a little noisy but hasn't stopped me going to sleep of a night. You get to use the facilities of the sister park which is a 2 min drive or a short walk. Our site has a small play area but it's enough to keep the little one amused. The caravans are fantastic, well equipped, single bedroom are quite tight but comfortable. A nice shower with a separate toilet and the kitchen has a fridge freezer so you can bring frozen food from home to help save the money Great company, I would definitely recommend.

A great place with some nice easy walks next to the park. The park is by a very busy road and can be noisy but that hasn't bothered anyone in our group. We would be happy to come back.

This was the most expensive week in a UK caravan we've ever booked. But all have gone up in price. It was peaceful, clean and tidy on site, and in the spacious, modern vans. The only improvements would be to have a decking area to sit out, and better signposting through the woods to use the facilities on the other park. Which they tell me they aren't allowed to do. The sun, and no birds landing on the roof helped too! It was a great place to base ourselves from

Me and my partner have just had a lovely week staying here. We thought the static was clean and well presented with comfy beds, sofa and the fire was a nice touch. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few meals for ourselves. The staff were very welcoming when we arrived, the check in was very easy. When we left the check out was simply hand in the keys. I would have to mention the traffic though as this was quite loud into the early hours of the morning as its situated just on a main road ,but we're heavy sleepers this didn't phase us much as we spent most of the day and evening out. Fab place to stay as quick to get into Pool. Would recommend for a quick stay.

Stayed in a lovely lodge. Very comfortable, clean and spacious. Quiet too. Yes you can hear traffic on the A31 but the park info tells you that. Bird song blocked it out anyway. Sister park not far. I had my bike and took about 5 mins to get there for my morning swim. Lots of lovely woodland, country parks and walks close by. Will definitely be booking to come back.
