It was a very ordinary omakase. The chef and waiter didn't want to admit that they overcooked a piece of burnt fish. Despite the smell of burnt fish permeating the kitchen, they finally replaced the burnt fish for me. Japanese chefs have a very general attitude, throwing fish and used plates very rudely, making a lot of noise, and don't take the initiative to understand customers' preferences and greet them. But the waitress was so nice, this is two stars for them.

Fancy & high-end sushi restaurant in London. Seating is usually pretty limited so make sure to get a reservation if you want to eat here. If you're feeling adventurous, try the hot sake! Food is excellent but definitely pricey. If you're a fan of sushi, this is definitely worth a visit. The sushi was excellent, service was good, and the overall experience was lovely.

Came here for a weekday lunch and had their lunch omakase. The lunch omakase consist of 10 sushi and 1 temaki with dessert. Overall there were some hits and misses for me - the botan shrimp was amazing but some of the latter like white fishes were alright. The omakase is priced quite decently and the fish are sourced from all over Europe. Personally would recommend coming to try the food. They have an extensive sake and wine list to choose from. The service was warm and friendly as well, and we enjoyed celebrating our anniversary here.

The food here is generally well made and delicious. The only thing I did not like was the shrimp tempura. The service is fantastic. The restaurant is expensive for what it is.

Visited twice since December 2022 Good service from all the servers and chefs. They are all polite and kind, always wear a smile. Not a big restaurant, but have decent dining atmosphere. food portions were above average and prices were reasonable. I can rank this among top 3 London authentic sushi. Will visit often.

Came for the omakase lunch. Lack of explaining in what order of sushi we should start with. Inconsistent with the amount of rice in the sushi. Too much wasabi in the sushi, and we barely can taste anything from the fish. I also strongly advise anyone who is planning to visit this restaurant, make a reservation for table near the kitchen as it is the whole point of omakase. In general, the service was great but the sushi was comparable a regular Japanese restaurant.

Holy SUSHI!!!! Visiting from NY and trusted reviews for a sushi place next to our restaurant and wow am I happy we did. It was AMAZING! From the melts in your mouth nigiri to the eggplant appetizer (must have). This authentic sushi spot is a must in London.

I’ve been to many Japanese places and Cube probably can be top3 in London. Super attentive service and detail oriented, without making you feel uncomfortable, just the right balance. Starters and nigiri are amazing. Will come back and try the Omakase menu for sure. Deducted 1 star for atmosphere as the toilets are unisex and I went in after a dude who made a mess….

Probably the best sushi experience in town. Great value considering the superb quality! We had the yuzu yellow tail to start and lunch omakase + sushi set. Everything was just so so good.

We went there for NYE, and I am now finding excuses to go again. We got the omakase and enjoyed every single course. It was my partner’s first time having omakase and he was amazed. We especially enjoyed the wagyu nigiri and the prawn nigiri (we reordered them), the wagyu just melts instantly when you chew it and the prawn was so fresh and tender. The service was top notch, I would give 10 stars if I could. The sake was also very good. Chef Masa is a gift to the people of England. I’d eat there every day if I could. Unfortunately they didn’t have sea urchin that day, but who said it couldn’t be an excuse to go back again?

This was the best sushi I had in London, and I have been to dozens of sushi restaurants. The waiter and overall service was great. It really felt like being in Japan. Only thing that could have been better is the wait between first and second appetiser. Almost 20 minutes.

Went for my birthday a few months ago and this is still the best sushi I’ve had in London so far. Although it’s not cheap, the price is very reasonable for the quality of food and lovely service.

Great omakase experience sat on the chefs counter and trying many nigiri that I would never have thought to order. The scallops in particular were melt in the mouth and all the fish was incredibly fresh.

Cubé is the real deal. If you are looking for an authentic Japanese sushi experience, then look no further. Perfect for business meals, family gathering or for an intimate dinner-for-two! The restaurant isn’t large but it has a lovey peaceful atmosphere that works for any occasion. The service team here are friendly and attentive. I had both the nigiri sushi and several tempura dishes. Everything was executed with precision as one would expect. The taste was excellent. I’ve been to several Japanese restaurants in London and I can confidently say that the quality and experience of Cubé is one of the best. I will be back for more!

Sea urchin is probably the best I ever had in London, very fresh and tasty. Sashimi is great generally. Scallop is slightly overcooked and a little bit too hard inside. Feel a little bit overpriced but still highly recommend you want a nice cosy sashimi house

Excellent sushi bar near the heart of London. We specially enjoyed the prawn tempura rolls and the negi toro rills. The nigiris are also excellent and delicious — salmon and yellow tail recommended!

By far, the best sushi in London!!! The service was also really accommodating and friendly, making celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday so lovely! We both agreed that the quality and freshness of the fish was impeccable; the sea urchin served to us was just imported that day (from Iceland!). Our highlights were the octopus, fatty tuna, king crab tempura and green tea brownie! Definitely coming back again (and again) - so glad we decided to try this new find! Such a breath of fresh air to have a humble (and more traditional style) sushi dining experience, without all the extra glitz and glam! A MUST GO!

Sea urchin is a must! Overall good but slightly over priced I think. Would have been more worthy to go for lunch for omakase menu.

Intimate spot located in a side street just off New Bond St in Mayfair. Sushi here is top quality the selection of tuna nigiri were extremely tasty, fresh and perfectly seasoned, Tonkatsu was crispy and tender served with a tasty sauce. The maki were also delicious, fish was fresh; rice to filling ratio was on point and the nori was clearly high quality. Matcha lava cake was delicious and paired perfectly with the ice cream. Staff were extremely friendly, attentive and behaved with professionalism. Overall we had a great experience here and I would very much like to return for Omakase, to experience a greater selection of this fish and to observe the best their chefs can offer.

We've had omakase experience for a birthday. Enjoyed it very much, authentic Japanese setting, very good quality fish (especially I liked toro), and welcoming staff. We liked nigiri so much that we've additionally ordered a chef's nigiri selection, which was fantastic. Highly recommend.

Most authentic sushi in London, the quality of the fish is very very good. If you could get a table at the courter, that'd be quite a nice experience to order the omakase as the chef would give you each piece of sushi one by one.

Very friendly staff and high quality food. I had the omakase lunch at the counter. Great creativity in the set menu and a perfect balance in flavours. My favorite piece was the uni on top of the squid. Never thought these two complement one another so well. Lovely restaurant overall!

Wow, what a meal! Came for the omakase and enjoyed every bite. Great experience to watch the chefs working away at the counter. Quality of the fish is fantastic and we enjoyed finding out which country they were caught. Was a good amount of food and we left feeling satisfied. Would definitely recommend for a special occasion.
