Honestly...If i could give 0 stars i would. Where do i start. This journey with HSFC has been short of a disaster. I could honestly fill up a a4 sheet of paper with complaints i have. Not once did i have faith in this clinic to give us a baby.. The feeling i had was that they thought they was doing us a favour and we should be grateful. I am a paying patient and the level of customer service is at 0. No one ever gives you any feedback or advice, i found myself googling and looking at forums for answers. On the very first day one of the nurses made my fiancé cry as she said "Oh you only have 3 follicles, does your mum suffer from early menopause" So straight away my finance is thinking of the worst, she asked her why and refused to give feedback because it wasn't protocol, we had to wait a week to have a zoom with Dr Venkat. They honestly only care about taking your money, thats the feeling i had throughout. We found out yesterday that our transfer failed and Dr Geetha hasn't even called us to explain why or to give us some comfort. Our next follow up with her is in 1 months time!! The email we got from them was these exact words "Would you want me to arrange counselling for you to help you cope?" I am absolutely disgusted in this service i have received. I am never normally one for reviews but on this occasion i feel i need to let people know that the service is shocking. I would avoid. We are going to try naturally for 6/12 months and will possibly try London's women's clinic.

Like the other reviewers have said, Harley Street fertility clinic are just after your money! They don't care, unprofessional and negligent. I called and emailed several times following my first appointment, no one has responded. Like the other reviewer has said, I need to spend £6500 to continue treatment - why wasn't I told that first? £250 just to speak to the Dr? No thanks. The only way to stop such charlatans is to vote with your feet. I wish I read the reviews online first before parting with my money.

We had the most abominable care at this clinic. They didn’t get back to my boyfriend at all plus they were rude to him on the day I went in. When I had my blood done similar to another person in the comments I had no idea where to go and was left wandering around on the top floor with no idea when someone would come or if I was in the correct place. They did not email me my results until I requested them weeks later. The waiting time to speak to reception was unreal - I waited over an hour and a half once when trying to change an appointment. They did not even notice or discuss with me an abnormal result. There was no follow up whatsoever and our doctor was changed between appointments. In addition we were quoted one price and then charged more until we complained and were refunded the difference. We will most definitely not be back. Their response below that I was not a client is disappointing.

The staff team are a joke. Had an interview with them a while back and the woman interviewing me was cold and uninterested. I then got a call back from the other interviewer asking me to come in for a 2nd interview. He then told me that he was interviewing me for a completely different job role without telling me prior to arriving at the clinic for the interview and never got back to me on either occasion for a decision. Rude staff who do not care. Spend your money elsewhere & save yourself the hassle and dont work there. I remember them trying to say they only allow 14 day annual leave days or something ridiculous.

I can give only 1 star to this clinic, it is because of one person. At first when i was told harley street was the best i felt so happy to get ib touch with them to solve my problem. So last year april i contacted them , receptionalist was very kind she gave me an appointment with dr. Geetha venkat, and charged 250 pounds which i paid when she spoke i gave my scan report from previous doctor , and explained all my problems, she was giving me hope at first saying dont worry we can offer you financial plan to pay monthly , we will cure everything and send you home happily. To be honest i was in top as im gonna get cure atleast by paying money. Then they took scan and i said i have these many fibroids to be operated. Everything was going good until that . And geetha venkat called me and told wellington hospital does the surgery but you have to pay 6500 pounds. 🙄 which i told her i been through domestic violence and as i told her earlier im financialy affected thats why at first point i asked you about paying monthly, she just said nothing else i can do either you pay full or nothing can be done. After that i tried to reach them one person from admin she was so nice , she answered and she said the same thing. Then i asked her why did the doctor gave me hope that finance can be done. But you are telling me we only offer wellington hospital which you have to pay in full. Why cant she tell this in first step before charging me £400. She didnt have any response. Only she said doctors doesnt know the exact prices which is a big joke. Finally i said you guys wasted my 3 months hoping for the best and my money and time as well and i asked her to refund my money. She said you have consulted our doctor and did scanning so nothing there to be refunded. I paid 250 for nothing to talk with dr. Geetha venket. So i asked them .. after that these people never pass my phone to anyone. They will ask my name if i say they are busy they will call you back but only once i received. No refund no treatment. Waste of time . Many people would had good experience over there. Good luck to you but i had the bad experience. Thanks a lot for receptionalist , person who did scanning for me, admin very kind lady and a black i think somalia nurse who did blood test was amazing. Except the doctor

I hope others read this before choosing to go to the clinic I do not even want to give one star, here are some of the things I am not happy about this clinic: - They ask you to pay for every single thing they can charge you for, even if you can get it for free elsewhere. For example, they charge a ridiculous price of £100 for a COVID PCR test when you can get it for free from the Government. - They test my blood and urine (and charge me ridiculously high prices) and do not give me test results. - One of the receptionists speaks without actually caring about what they are seeing and can be short tempered. - They don't answer my emails but when it comes to the invoice, they flood my inbox with emails. They don't care about my concerns or problems, they just care about the money - Their dedication to money is incredible, they once sent me an email at midnight asking me to pay. - I have done IVF twice with them and both of them are unsuccessful, I feel like I have wasted a lot of money - They tell me they would call me back but they never do - They don't care about the patients, it would be nice if the team kept logs on what they have to do, I have to constantly remind them of what I need done. - I cannot talk to the doctor even for an emergency, I have to pay £150 to speak for 10 minutes with her - They don't mention the fact that the treatment can be unsuccessful and they don't have the counseling service for patients who have an unsuccessful treatment. For a treatment, some people like me save up a lot of money for the treatment. I have saved up for 1 year and I do not get the treatment I expect for that kind of money, they are not aware of the value of money to some people. Overall, it is not worth the money. They say they have "patient-centered care" but it is very clear after the first appointment that their only aim is the money, nothing else. I hope this message is useful to at least someone

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. The doctors here have no sense of respect for the patient's personal time. They were running late with 5 patients not because of the scans but because the doctors were in the room taking their time to clean the room... Outrageous more than 1 hour late, I recommend going to another clinic

The team at HSFC were incredibly helpful to me throughout my egg donation journey. I was given lots of support at every step of the process, and staff were always on hand to give me the advice and information I needed. Egg donation isn’t easy by any means, but with the right clinic that process can be made much simpler. Overall, I had a very rewarding experience and am so glad that I’ve been able to do such a huge thing to support others in their journey towards building a family.

Never go here, my family had the absolute worst experience. Doctor Venkat was extremely unprofessional, rude and was the worst doctor we had ever met. The only thing that was professional in this place was the reception staff.

I can’t recommend Harley Street Fertility Clinic highly enough!! From the first consultation, our treatment and care has been amazing, a very difficult process has been made easier thanks to everyone at the clinic. We’ve always been kept up to date and informed, we’ve never had to worry about a thing. Every single person at the clinic is lovely, friendly caring and is genuinely interested in you and your journey and how they can help you. Every doctor, every nurse, the ladies on reception are all amazing and we can’t thank them enough for the treatment we’ve been given. Our IVF journey was always going to be a difficult one but thanks to the clinic, it’s been a successful one!! Without them and all their help and solutions to every problem, it wouldn’t have been successful! You will be in the best hands at the clinic and I’m so thankful to everyone there. Choosing them has been the best decision I’ve ever made! I recommend the acupuncture also, please ask about sessions of acupuncture as this has been so beneficial in the IVF journey and I’m so glad I had it, this helped massively! You will not regret choosing Harley Street Fertility Clinic, it will be the best decision you ever make. We will be forever thankful to every single person in that clinic.

I have nothing but praise for the staff at this clinic. After having an awful experience elsewhere, I did extensive research and decided to go to HSFC. From the moment I had my consultation with DR Lieve Verstraete, I knew I wanted to complete my egg retrieval procedure here. She listened and offered me options, which I was never given before. The team of nurses are all incredible. They make you feel at ease and genuinely feel like they are all rooting for you and wanting your procedure to be a success. You definitely feel like you become one big family. Fully recommend

The process has been explained from the beginning till the end step by step and if I had any questions the team was always available to clarify and explain re any questions or concerns. Dr Venkat was absolutely lovely. But this clinic was not the right fit for me. When you read reviews of places, it’s always a mixed bag. But I’d like to reiterate the advice of someone else I had read earlier... do your research and trust your instincts. For the amount you are spending, another consultation elsewhere is negligible. It’s better to be absolutely happy with the choice you make. I wish everyone the very best of luck. I hope you get a healthy baby.

I was late in getting pregnant for 7 years, and I had 6 failed IVF attempts, but thanks to God and my dr geeta venkat, I got pregnant and my long-awaited dream came true. Thank you, doctor, for your concern. You have given me the world. The nurses are cheerful and treat me as if I were their sister. Thank you to all of them and their concern for me🩷

A pretty traumatic experience especially for people going through a very challenging period of their life: 1) HSFC (especially the coordinators/front of house team) did not seem to know what was going on. They always required me (as the patient) to follow up even though they said they would and they kept referring me to other "colleagues", so I was bounced around from team to team with no clear answer. When I asked to speak to my Doctor (as I was hoping that the doctor would be my single source of truth), they said I would have to pay another £240 for a consultation (ridiculous given that I had already paid a fairly substantial amount to even get that far and had not received much in return!) Definitely feels very salesy and pushy. 2) I felt the medical "advice/recommendation" was misleading and scared me into pursuing a treatment with the clinic. It was only after going to a SEPARATE clinic and paying a SEPARATE consultation fee, that I realised that I was only told half the story. I'd recommend anyone who visits ANY fertility clinic to first read the book: It Starts with the Egg by Rebecca Fett. It is in the fertility clinic's interest to get you to do a treatment and so it's good to get some impartial advice beforehand so please do your research. 3) This isn't exclusive to this clinic but to almost all the fertility clinics out there - I am disappointed that the costs for treatments aren't more clearly documented, shared and most importantly regulated. Sure there's a price list which they can distribute (with large price ranges and names of complicated drug names etc) and I do appreciate that treatments will vary from person to person. BUT often, it feels like fertility clinics will only share the prices to your personalised treatment plan once you're already quite far invested into the process and so will have to pay the ad-hoc/hidden costs that they sometimes spring on you throughout the process. Furthermore, informing patients of the costs so late on does not allow patients to do proper cost-comparisons at the beginning and so creates this horrible power dynamic. I don't know what the solution to this fertility-clinic-collusion is other than maybe for there to be stricter price regulations and for clinics to create personalised treatment plans much earlier than they currently do.

We have had a life changing journey through HSFC. It was quite long but turned out to be fruitful at the end - all credits to Dr.Venkat & team. Dr.Venkat is incredibly knowledgeable , efficient , pragmatic and at the same time very comfortable to approach. The entire team at HSFC are extremely kind, caring, polite and professional. Our overall experience was Top class! We are forever grateful to HSFC for what they have done for us. They are a part of our family now !

Dr Venkat is incredible! I truly believe that I couldn't have found a better consultant. We have had IVF (26 eggs collected, 10 frozen embryos) and a successful embryo transfer. I will be forever grateful to her! The prices are very competitive. I am in my late 30s and I have had 3 fertility referrals through the NHS but didn't get anywhere. I wish I had seen Dr Venkat sooner.

From enquiring over email to my face to face appointment and then the follow up phone call to get my results, Dr Geetha and the HSFC could not have been more helpful, supportive and reassuring. I had a general female fertility check up after having a few concerns that I wanted clarification on, and I am so glad I got in touch and made the appointment. Dr Geetha was so calming in my first zoom consultation and allowed me time to ask as many questions as I liked, my actual appointment was straight forward and the team were so kind and accommodating especially as lockdown restrictions were still in place. And Dr Geetha really took the time to go over my results in detail which has helped me have a better understanding of my body. I felt supported enough to feel comfortable contacting the clinic again in the future with any questions, and would trust in them if I needed to access their services again.

I recently went through a treatment cycle at HSFC and had a very good experience, that exceeded my expectations. The treatment plan and care from the HSFC team was personable and customised to my needs and I think having the same doctor (Dr. Verstraete) as the point of contact throughout also had a big impact on my own patient experience. She was always very attentive and provided outstanding care. Outside of the treatment experience itself, there were some small issues on the billing/invoicing side, but these were rectified quickly and credited back. I can highly recommend this clinic

I went through an egg donation with Harley Street Fertility Clinic - which means I didn’t get treatment for myself but to donate for other families. It was a very rewarding experience and something that felt very close to my heart. I felt very well supported throughout the process by Dr Venkhat and Dr Verstraete who were very available, knowledgeable and really made me feel like my donation was valued and precious. A little late with this review, about 13 years! But we can clearly remember the service we received like it was last week. The staff all round were the best and they treated us with care, passion and we're never pushy. We spent a lot of time at the clinic and each visit was great having 1 failed and 2 success treatments. We are planning to bring our 2 'IVF babies' to visit the clinic soon to see where they were made. Can't thank the staff at the time enough for the support and professionalism we received.
