Cute boutique hotel. Very nice location. Friendly and efficient staff. Very modern spacious rooms. Breakfast was amazing! Freshest omelettes and scrambled eggs ever. Don't forget to check out the roof garden terrace with bar and tables!

Would definitely stay here again. Spacious and well appointed rooms. The overall property is extremely clean and well kept. The staff is extremely polite and attentive. I will give 5 stars in my review because the kindness of the staff did make up for all the other negative points below. Nevertheless, there are a number of points to be urgently solved. The first one regards the amenities in the bathrooms. There is no hand soap which is unbelievable. We did ask for some and were told that due to COVID, they were not providing any hand wash. This does not make any sense especially looking at the current situation we are facing. We stayed in other properties across Mexico and each one of them provided abundant amenities including soap or hand wash. We did have one small bottle of body wash and one of hair conditioner. When we asked for shampoo, we were told the housekeeping team had left and would not be able to have some until tomorrow. This does not make any sense in a hotel of this standard. There should have been shampoo, body wash and conditioner from the beginning. Regarding breakfast. The offering really is not acceptable for an international boutique hotel member of SLH. There should be both continental and Mexican offerings including yogurt, cereals, etc. There was basically only eggs, Mexican entrees and nothing else. After spending five nights at the hotel needless to say that we were fed up with the breakfast offering. Finally, the towels urgently need to be replaced. Most of them had holes in them and were completely teared. On one of the days the housekeeping forgot about the towels which was extremely annoying. We will definitely stay here again but would first need to see these points amended.

Unsafe. Room phone didn't work, air conditioner is a portable unit that requires the sliding glass door to be left open, exposing the room to people coming in from outside. Door has no peephole. The staircases are dangerous add they have steps at angles in the landings and since they are white it's hard to see them. I fell and could have broken through the glass barrier and fallen 3 stories They called us a taxi but it wasn't legit. The driver ran at least 3 red lights and drove crazy (and I am used to Mexico City standards - this was extreme). The car was worn out and the check engine light was on. The AC was also very loud and leaked water and had a long extension cord taped to the ground that was a trip hazard. The bed made a lot of noise. The blinds let a lot of light in. They should be blackout blinds Some electrical outlets didn’t work The shower door won't stay closed so water leaks out the back onto the floor. Our keys kept breaking and had to be replaced multiple times. The Wi-Fi was unreliable - fast at times but slow or unavailable at others. The shower was cold even at 11:30pm!

Beautiful hotel that looks like you’re staying at your rich aunt’s place, and she sits on the boards of every modern art museum in town. Well-decorated with art everywhere and a wonderful rooftop patio. The air conditioner is a floor unit that may bother some people but it provided white noise for me, no problem. But balcony. Beautiful marble bathroom. Great location in a nice neighborhood. Near museums and the center (via Uber). I was very happy with it!

The property is beautiful and its location is good. No real air conditioning though, there is a floor unit that makes horrible noise and it’s not attached outside so it keeps the warm air inside… perhaps not what you’d expect from this price range.

Excellent rooms, service and great roof top cafe. We initially booked this place because of their bistro cafe on the ground floor as it looked lovely in photos with the historic brick wall. It was unfortunately closed due to COVID restrictions. Hopefully next time it’s open! The hotel is at a great location, close to transit, downtown and restaurants.

I wouldn’t stay here again. Pros: - Large rooms (that’s it) Cons: - Room wasn’t properly cleaned prior to check-in. There were crumbs on the floor and the mini fridge had missing items. - AC wasn’t properly connected and the room was extremely hot at night. It also seemed like the receptionist/concierge was never around. The only helpful person was Mario, the head of security.

SERIOUS ISSUES - AVOID. I booked and prepaid the hotel through Expedia. Upon arrival at the Hotel, the staff had my booking reference but claimed Expedia had not paid them, and made me pay for the room a second time. I have since called Expedia on a weekly basis over a month and a half to get this resolved. Expedia says they are unable to reach the hotel, as it is *not responding* to any of their emails, and the hotel manager wont talk to them. Based on the advice of my local travel regulatory agency, the only recourse will be to file a claim in small claims court in order to get a refund.

Absolutely not recommended. Noisy and old a/c. And as you can see from the picture dirty! They did not even refund for this disgusting experience

I booked two rooms via Expedia for November of 2023. The hotel messaged me saying that they will be undergoing renovations so they have to cancel my stay, but they asked me to contact Expedia myself. I contacted Expedia and they said I booked nonrefundable rooms, so I won't be able to get the refund. I then contacted the hotel again for them to cancel on their end, because I didn't get the service I paid for and I got cancelled on by the hotel, I am 100% entitled to a full refund. Then the hotel cancelled one of the 2 rooms I booked, so I got half of the refund, and they stopped replying to my messages on Expedia. This is such a shady move and adds so much frustration on the customer who did nothing wrong.

Great modern hotel in the hart of the city.

There were no outlets near the bed to charge your phone which seems outrageous for the price (>$400 USD/night)

Service unfortunately needs improvement Help desk reception needs more customer service and attention skills

The location, the hotel and the safe neighborhood are definitely a big point about this hotel. I did however encounter a few issues which is a disappointment considering that you are booking a 4 star hotel. Let’s start with cleanses we had booked an executive suite room and when we arrive we find hairs in the bed, in the shower and next to the toilette. The bed sheet were not clean and were kind of smelling (pictures attached), so I raised a complain asking them to kindly do a deep cleaning while we are out , came back with hair again in the bathroom. To me this is the worst and will be a reason of not visit the hotel again. On top of all we had booked the room for 3 nights we had however visa issue hence we were not able to use one of the nights, I called first thing the hotel which was at 5 AM local time then again at 9 AM to speak with an English speaker and informed about the situation and confirmed that we will 100% still come for the remaining 2 days - they were not even 1% accommodative they said we will charge you for the no show day - to me no matter what your policy is there is an human aspect that needs to be taken into consideration we had proof from the airline about visa issue etc so making us pay full one night it’s not a usual Behavior of a 4 star hotel . It’s a shame to own a 4 star but behind the scene not comply with it requirements. Thank you

The upside: the location is excellent, the street, and neighborhood are lined with beautiful trees, and quiet. The bed is comfortable, the balcony is nice, breakfast is included,, they provide robes. The downside: Bedroom fan did not work, there was nothing in the mini bar, the binder that would typically have hotel/local info was open, but empty, there are no hand towels or wash cloths. After housekeeping came, we had no toilet paper, we had to call for it, we were not informed of breakfast. We found out through reviews. Was quite surprised there was no coffee maker in the room, and lastly, the balcony has no seating, so my partner and I took turns sitting on the desk chair we took outside. I feel there's not a lot of communication, or attention to detail.

The rooms are really nice, the staff are polite. However, I was deeply upset about the lack of honesty regarding the rooftop. Nowhere does it stipulate that the rooftop is closed due top covid!

We spent 8 days...The hotel is beautifully decorated, modern and comfortable. The rooms are spacious with the living area separate. Nice linens and bedding. The staff is accommodating & helpful. Arturo Sanchez, chief concierge, has great knowledge of the city with excellent suggestions for everything México City. His recommendations and reservations were wonderful. Breakfast is expansive, buffet, perfect fruits, freshly squeezed juices, with the option of ordering from the menu. The restaurant, Luna Bistro, is very good. As is room service. Instead of turn down, they deliver yummy small deserts around 6:00pm! Our patio did not have chairs, when requested, we were told our room did not include them (?) we moved the living room chairs to the patio for morning coffee & evening cocktails. The only glitch in a perfectly delightful vacation. We highly recommend this SLH. It is a value for the price.

Oh my!! Even the "smallest" rooms were huge, beautifully designed. The room service was amazing but the staff... was just exceptional!!🤍 The neighbourhood is very safe as well, we were comfortable walking around at night.

Location is great and the neighborhood is quiet. Plenty of nice restaurants are within 10 mins of walk. The room is large yet the bathroom was tight. You can notice their effort in its design yet it give me more of a contemporary feeling rather than luxury. Overall it’s a great place to stay in CDMX.

Had a great stay on several occasions over a period of 13 months. Lovely boutique hotel and the book collection is beautiful. Almost like a Museum. Very nice staff. Would certainly go back. The rooms are like suites and they have a nice rooftop area as part of the restaurant.

Beautiful design (fusion of modern and old interior design), great common spaces, good choice of artistic art pieces on the walls. great location in a lively part of the city. Rooms are clean, comfortable and facilitated. Breakfast is included but they don't offer a good one. Other restaurants of the hotel are good though.

Amazing hotel and location. Rooms were spacious. I loved the L'Occitane products and the amazing service. One thing they dont have shower gel or soap bars so bring your own. Other than that everything was amazing.
