Andy is the man!!! I didn’t have much time to explore Barcelona but joined his tour anyway. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!! It was an educational tour with lots of fun. He seems to know a lot of people in the city. We bumped into one of his friends who is a famous street artist of Barcelona. We got to meet her and experience her gallery. I wish I had more time to explore all of his recommendations. Definitely coming back to Barcelona for that reason!!! Don’t hesitate. Don’t miss out.

Definitely recommend this tour for anyone looking for an exciting overview of Barcelona's gothic quarter (including history, art, food, culture, etc.) About 2.5 hours long with a short break for a drink and restroom use in the middle. Andrew was a great tour guide! Very charming in an unusual way. Took us in a restaurant for a break, which we ended up eating at after the tour. He talks a lot but doesn’t bore you to death. Referenced his family a lot, which I think was a partial ploy to get a good amount of tips, but it was well deserved either way. Hope you enjoyed the review, will definitely recommend my other friends to request for you on their tour (if it’s possible) and I’ll make sure to tell them to bring cash!

I did both the free walking tour of Barcelona and the Forbidden Tour. Maria was our tour guide for the walking tour on our first day in Barcelona and she gave such great insight into the city! Definitely recommend doing this tour at the beginning of your trip (why wouldn’t you? It’s free!). Maria was super friendly, passionate and knowledgeable. We also did the Forbidden Tour with the incredible Leon. This tour was definitely a highlight of my time in Barcelona. Learning about the dark history and current state of the city was incredibly eye opening. Leon was an awesome guide who was very engaging and explained with such great detail. Would have loved for this tour to go on longer! Couldn’t recommend these tours enough! All the guides I had met were all super lovely and insightful. Will definitely be doing the SANDEMANs tours in other cities!

Miguel's Free Walking Tour was absolutely amazing! Everything about how he ran is tour was perfect. His pacing was good, the delivery of the information extremely was smooth, and most of all the information he provided was top notch. We had already been in Barcelona for several days, and his tour was able to bring many of the things we saw in our first days into context which just tied our trip together in many ways. We cannot recommend him enough. When in Barcelona you should always look for when Miguel is giving a tour!
