We had a party of 10 adults and everyone had an amazing time. Chrissy was awesome and handled everything including our reservations at Bernini Restaurant. Dinner was great. Super fun experience! Did the dinner and tour. Ghost Party made the dinner reservations for us at Cerealholic. The bar staff was amazing and gave us passes for their new Speakeasy, which was also part of the tour. Food and drinks were top notch. After dinner, Sonia came to meet us. Since there were only two of us, we got to hear some extra stories, have our own ghost hunting equipment the whole time, and visit a few more stops. Sonia's vibe was amazing and she invited us to sign up for future hunts with the team if we wanted. Great job, Ghost Party! As an aside some things to be aware of: -you are asked to download apps on your phone -some buildings/businesses are closed, so it's more of a walking tour -if you're not used to Ybor/city nightlife, you might want to choose a different tour time (Not downsides necessarily, but just to let you know. We also toured from 10pm to midnight on a Saturday)

The tour itself was good but the tour guide was really uninformed and at times we thought she was making up the answers to our questions. Also we went into the Cuba club but weren't able to tour all of it. Before doing this tour which we got on a groupon, we did the Official Ybor Ghost Tour which was amazing. I think if you have never been on a ghost tour this would be fun for you but if you have been on one before you will be disappointed.

This company is horrible to deal with. do not waste your money!! My 13 year old daughter was so disappointed. A complete waste of my time and money. If you're looking for fun or even a small scare DO NOT COME HERE! What a scam! Wish I could give zero stars!

Absolutely loved this experience! Wanted to do something different for our 17 year old daughters birthday. Such a cold but very fun time! Our tour guide was something out of the mafia 😂 he rocked! The history was really cool to hear and learn about Ybor. Will be back again soon!

Guide/owner was 40 minutes late because she texted that she was doing tarot card readings at a nearby bar. Finally we texted and asked for a refund at the 40 minute mark and passed by her as we were walking away. She had a drink in her hand and was obviously drunk. She called and argued that she 'invited us to the bar' and therefore she was being considerate. While, mind you, she was drunk. She refused a refund, we will be disputing the charge with our card company for services not rendered.

went with AJ, she was extremely nice & had a good sense of humor, I have no complaints towards her at all. Though the ghost tour was nothing special, we used gear you can find on amazon, and basically walked around the block while she showed us pictures from google, mind you we got the VIP which was $40 each, definitely wasn’t worth it, could’ve done it myself with a group of friends.

Wow!!! This place is a complete joke. I tried to book tickets as a birthday gift for my boyfriend. Their website is terrible to navigate and doesn't have a single date listed for buying tickets. When I messaged the business they literally couldn't give me a single date and were absolutely rude for no reason at all. Totally unacceptable. They let these people around kids?? Ugh. I have screenshots of our entire conversation include them threatening to give out my phone number in retaliation of my honest review.

This is a scam! I booked a 8pm Sat. night tour and the tour guide never showed up...called and texted several times that night with no answer. Left email requesting a refund. Got a text message at 10:30pm that night saying someone will reach out to me. Still waiting for a response...what a joke! Don't waste your money!

Went to the ghost tour in Ybor last night and had an amazing experience. The tour guide was fantastic and it was really cool learning some history about Ybor and some of the buildings. That was my first time being on a ghost tour and it was so much fun. There definitely were some times where you could feel your chest being super heavy in some parts of the tour. I think the scariest part of the tour was probably the theatre? There was definitely a lot of energy there. The people that went on the tour also said that their cheats were super heavy in the theatre. I brought my spirit box and we went into this small room in the theatre and we asked some questions and the only clear answer we got was when we asked if there were any women in the room with us and a woman’s voice said “7”. There were 7 girls in that room. We were very shocked and surprised on how accurate some of the answers we got were. I definitely recommend going on this tour if you’re looking to get spooked out! I do have some photos of the theatre and it looks like orbs but I couldn’t tell if it was orbs or things of dust floating around.

We came back for this tour for a second time. This time it was even better than last. Had dinner in the haunted restaurant and caught a very cool ghost photo. If you like paranormal ghost shows you will love it! Tour guide even took us in the rain with umbrella and hot coffee for walk. The best time!

Chrissy is a great host and I highly recommend City Ghost Tours! We went to the Paranormal Lockdown at The Cuban Club for my son's 40 birthday. We had a ghost turn on and off a flashlight many times and we saw an orb travel up the stairs. It was great fun!

We had a small group and really enjoyed it. We not only felt the energy, but caught orbs in photos and even had something thrown at us! Recommend to all ghost hunters out there!

Did the History tour with a meal at the Columbia. Working and living in Tampa it’s so nice to learn some of the history right in our backyard. Joe is AMAZING and full of so much knowledge! I could have done a full day learning some more from him! He has so much of his own history and has done a ton of research! It was probably one of the best tours I have ever been on. I have done tours in Savannah, Key West, Cuba etc I thoroughly enjoyed myself and would recommend this tour with Joe to anyone!

Had a great time doing the paranormal investigation. Who knew we would have so many events happen. The stories were great but the fact that we had so much activity that night was amazing. Looking forward to doing more soon.

I have taken this tour twice now, with Krissy as our guide, and both times were phenomenal! The tour is very educational from a historical point of view and interactive! I feel like we learned so much about our local histories, legends, and lore. We had an absolute blast! Both groups had quite a bit of activity as well. The first time we were a small group of serious ghost hunting adults. And the second group was for a family birthday party with children. And Krissy nailed the vibe and delivered the perfect tour for both experiences. Unforgettable! And the cherry on top would be the pictures that Krissy took of our groups and sent to us. It’s so nice to see if there is anything paranormal in the photos, but it’s even more wonderful to have pictures that we are all in, and that were taken of us, so we could remain immersed in the experience. If you’re researching ghost tours in the Tampa/Ybor area- this is the one to do.

Decent tour overall. These tours have good potential, but need to step it up if they’re going to target tourists who are used to ghost tours in places like Savannah, St. Augustine, and Key West. I’ve done quite a few ghost tours around the country and I think this company’s tours could be really great if a few of the following things changed: 1) Tell more stories. Our guide told 5 ghost stories and then let us loose in the Cuban Club to hunt ghosts for an hour. We really only covered the Cuban Club and nothing else, which was a bummer. The really great ghost tours I’ve been on in Savannah, St. Augustine, etc. have a lot of stories and cover a lot of ground. I get that Ybor isn’t as old, but there were cemeteries and old buildings that we passed. They probably had stories to go with them, but the guide didn’t touch on anything at all, while we walked around. 2) Show images of ghosts found on past tours and in paranormal investigations and tell the stories behind them. There was no imagery on this tour. Many other tours I’ve been on have ipads or phones out with images saved and stories to go with them. 3) The guide could have been more involved in her stories. The typical story sounded like, “Um...so...yeah...like....there was like....this...um...one actor who got really upset that he didn’t get a part in a play and he like...hung himself...and some people see his ghost around here sometimes.” And that’s it. No more details. That’s the end of the story. That’s how most of our guide’s stories sounded. It’s hard to get into a story when it’s just one sentence long and the guide doesn’t seem so into it. 4) Better training for guides - our guide was new and she seemed like she had a hard time remembering the stories she was supposed to tell and was jittery, nervous, quiet and a bit monotone. I can’t blame her. I would be too if it were my second month on the job...but did take away from the experience a bit. For a $40 tour, we expected more. Maybe give a discounted price for a tour with a newbie? WHAT THEY DID RIGHT Chrissy was super professional in helping us coordinate the tour, sending us our tickets and getting us reservations in the haunted restaurant before the tour. The guide looked like the real deal. She believed in ghosts, was a paranormal investigator, and wore all black. I’m sure the all black thing is a complete stereotype of what a ghost hunter looks like...but it worked. She looked the part. The guide was also cheerful and nice.

We went with AJ. She was very nice. One of the best ghost tours I ever been on. She told a lot of stories and was very interesting and entertaining. We would definitely come back and do it again.

We had so much fun on this tour. My boyfriend and I are from Minnesota and love doing stuff like this when we travel out of state. You get really ghost hunting equipment to hunt with and talking with the ghosts was so cool. Make sure you're quiet while your guide is telling you the history of everything because the stories really make the journey so much better. We were able to go off on our own and really interact with the ghosts later in the night and so many things happened. I highly recommend going on this tour. It's definitely worth the price and we wish we would've been able to do the overnight one!

Went to Gainesville with Chrissy,Charlie and Carissa. Had a nice quiet evening having a session at the Camillia Rose Inn. The place was beautiful and Pat the owner was a perfect host. We went to a haunted restraunt but brought it back to Inn and sat outside on porch to eat. Had a good time. Would definitely recommend a trip with Chrissy anytime. Will be going to Savannah soon. Am excited for the next adventure .

We have gone on two tours with Chrissy and they have been phenomenal! Lots of activity with guidance from members. These tours have increased our love for the paranormal and we look forward to many more!

I went on the ghost hunting adventure with tour guide Chrissy. We had so much fun and I highly recommend the tour. We had faucets turning on by themselves, flashlights turning on and off, and all sorts of spooky noises. I would definitely do this again!

The tour with Chrissy is amazing! Caught a ghost with our very own eyes and have some good recordings. Definitely recommend ghost party tours to everyone!

We had SUCH a great time with Joe on our tour. We did the sunset and sangria tour that ended with our dinner reservation at the Columbia. We learned so much from Joe about Ybor (Ibor) City and its residents. We even got some spooky stories of the Maria's past and local haunts. The best was walking down the main drag and hearing about his family's connection to the place and how multiculturally historical Tampa is. He made us feel like we were part of the family as he was walking us around. It was so laid back. One thing we wished was that we brought water, so be sure to on your trip. You go down the less beaten path at times but it's totally worth it. We wanted to see the city at night and feel like a local and we really got the chance to. Thanks so much!

POOR BUSINESS PRACTICES FOR THIS TOUR COMPANY! THEY TOOK OUR MONEY AND REFUSE TO GIVE A REFUND! THE RESTAURANT WAS FANTASTIC!! THE GHOST TOUR COMPANY DROPPED THE BALL AFTER DINNER!! On February 11th 2019, I made a reservation for 4 people for the “Ghost Hunting Tour” with electronic devices. Total was $140. We were interested in the “Haunted Dining” at the Carne Chop House Restaurant. The person making the reservation, told us that 6:30 would be plenty of time have dinner and meet at 8pm at the back door of the restaurant in front of the “Haunted Safe” where the tour begins. When we entered the restaurant, we informed the host that we were part of the Ghost Tour at 8pm. He Sat us at a table that was closest to the glass doors at the back of the restaurant. We could see the “haunted safe” from our table. We had our dinner, finishing at 7:50pm giving us plenty of time to walk the approximate 20 feet to the meeting spot. We then walked to the back door, stood in front of the “Safe” and waited for the tour guide to show up. After 8pm, we began to get concerned. We asked the Manager of the Carne Chop House, if he knew of a way to contact them and he did. He sent a message at 8:05 saying we were waiting for our tour guide. We had been waiting for approx. 15 minutes, thinking the guide might be running late. The manager told us that he had sent her a text, but she did not reply to him immediately. At 8:26 we called and a female answered saying that she was out of town and the she had no way of contacting the “New Tour Guide” because they turn their cell phones off to avoid disturbing the tour. She said she would continue to try and contact the tour guide and call us back. At 8:37 we received a phone call stating that tour had met in front of the Comedy club around the corner and never went into the agreed upon meeting spot in front of the ‘Haunted Safe' She also had the nerve to ask if we wanted to join the tour in progress, missing the first 30-45 mins. We said we paid for a full tour and that’s what we expected. We requested a refund since we complied with all of the requirements for the tour. The Ghost tour company refuses to acknowledge fault, even though we were at the agreed location BEFORE the tour was to leave.

A lot of fun, with interesting facts and figures, and you get to tour historic buildings in Ybor. Our guide was incredibly well informed, and made it a fun evening.

Wanted it to be a rememberable night. Unfortunately, due to Covid, we couldn't go in any buildings. That isn't something I blame them for, but it wasn't communicated when reserving. Felt that was a bit misleading.

I understood that due to covid that there would be certain restrictions for access to buildings. But the overall description that I was told over the phone about the experience led me to believe, that it would be still very interactive and interesting experience. What did happen was, we had a tour guide that sounded unenthusiastic and very nervous. It felt like they had done a brief reading of the history of the area and didn't really know it. You are given EMF readers and dousing rods to use. But also asked to download apps. For example a night vision app which is just filters being used to make it look as if you are seeing at night. Standard phones cannot use night vision. So the app come across as useless and pandering to the audience. So overall if you are doing the tour during covid. You are just walking around Ybor looking at buildings and being told how haunted they are. Better to probably wait till they allow access into said buildings, would probably be a better experience.

I've been on a few trips so far and eagerly await each new adventure. Chrissy goes the extra mile to make sure everyone has a great time. The groups are small and the Ghost Party has various equipment you can use and get your own experiences. I highly recommend anyone interested in the paranormal, give it a try.

Took my son and grandson on this tour. Three generations, 70 year old, 45 year old, and 10 year old. We all had an awesome time with the night vision goggles and hearing scary stories and history that even a native of florida didnt know. A must see for all!

Wasn't able to go inside the buildings so we left early. I feel it was a waste of money

I can honestly say this was the best ghost tour i had ever been on. We did the " Ghost Adventure" Tour and it was more like an investigation than a tour! Such a small group and we learned history and the story of the ghosts! My boyfriend LOVED it as well. He was able to go to some places himself and investigate alone with all the equipment. Meanwhile i was too scared 1/2 the time so the amazing tour/ investigator guide kept me calm and ever walked outside with me for a few minutes to calm my nerves! She was the BEST! we even hear footsteps and she encouraged me to face my fears and stay! We cant wait to go back for more ghost hunting and i would recommend this to EVERYONE! its a must do!

I went on this tour the end of September. It was very imformative and fun. I went with my sister-in-law and daughter. I have two photos that show some supernatural being. Very cool. I have been referring people to this tour.

This is one of the best ghost tours in Tampa! I can speak from experience, I have been on several different ones. If you are into the paranormal & want to experience a real ghost hunt then this is the tour for you! They actually give out real paranormal equipment to hunt with! Such a great experience!! A absolute must!

My husband and I joined Ghost Party in August 2023. We've been to Plant City three times and Phantom History house twice. We've captured EVP's, video of orbs, REM pod , flashlight, cat ball all turning on and off action. A hung picture, with a secure hanger on the frame fell off a bedroom wall when nobody was even upstairs in the bedroom. That was surprising! It's been fun investigating with the group and meeting new people who have the same passion with ghost investigations as we do. It goes without saying, Krissy who is an experienced and wonderful guide is the best! Looking forward to our next adventure with Krissy and the Ghost Party group.

Got my dad this as a gift we are both into all the paranormal. Found out the tour guide Krissy has a paranormal group which we joined,and been loveing her group every since we joined. We been going with the group to paranormal places and doing investigation, and it's awesome so much fun after one you want to do another.

She was absolutely amazing all around; gave us detailed history of each place we visited, was humorous and informative at the same time!
