The sheets were clearly not washed. There were dirty dog paw prints (I do not have a dog), pieces of trash and plastic on the bed, and dirt everywhere. I went down to ask for a refund but they offered another room so I tried again. The second room had food pieces smashed along the side of the sheets. 2 strikes so I went down for a refund and there were 3 other guests there to complain. I ended up driving back to Tampa the night before a wedding I was attending because it was so bad. I went back on my way home from the wedding and asked for my money to be returned when the manager was refusing because "housekeeping said the rooms were used." I was furious. YES, they were used but not by me! I have never in my life met such a poor excuse for customer service. Incredibly rude, but I finally got him to refund my money. I showed photo evidence and he insisted it was because his housekeeping said it was... Horrid experience. Do NOT recommend.

Around 9 spots for truck drivers to park. Marked online as "free parking" "truck, bus, car parking available" but as a driver I will tell you, even though it isn't very busy, and it's literally right next to the truck stop (truck stop has no where to park). They will come beat on your truck and tell you to leave there "free parking" facility because "it's for paying customers only" but hey they will offer you a room. Just another company that is in the position to help drivers, but choose to turn them away while they enjoy all of the benefits we bring. Like there building, parking lot, rooms, pool, furniture, and everything in between would even exist is we didn't bring it. Will never spend my money at such a low blow hotel. This is what discrimination looks like, and it's wrong. At the very least rent the space for the night. Yes paid parking does exist, and benefits many businesses across the globe. i guess there are "signs" posted around, with no visible lighting at 3am so sorry if you missed them. Avoid if possible, just another greedy company.

Place looks remodeled our room was awesome clean and comfortable. Nice bed, tv, shower and sitting area. Small but nice breakfast and staff was excellent, we will definitely stay here again. Now my grips smokers standing outside of our room for nearly 2 hours and the smoke odor made it into our room maybe through the ac unit not sure. I think there should be a smoking section for them away from the non-smoking rooms. Everything else was fine.

It was very embarrassing to find someone else food in our fridge, seems like housekeeping doesn't take their role serious enough considering that our feet got black while walking in the room. We did love the wooden floor and the very very friendly reception girl that helped us.

I WOULD AVOID THIS MOTEL!!! Zero stars if I could! Where to begin...our room had a kitchette, it was disgusting! MOLD ON CABINETS, ROACHES! DIRT ON FLOOR AND BASEBOARDS! I went to the dollar store to buy spray bleach and Raid bug spray. The furniture (cloth material) had stains. Thankfully we brought a sheet to cover couch. They advertise free breakfast from 6 to 9 am, but what a joke. First morning they shut down at 7:45 claiming no supplies. Second day no breakfast at all (except coffee). Again no supplies. This was during hurricane Ian. Gee, you book your motel completely full, but forgot to buy "supplies" in advance for guests! On a good note, the bathroom looked remodeled and clean! I could go on and on, but I think I made my point!

The room was clean and fresh. The hotel is in a great location and close to everything. The staff was amazing! They were very professional, friendly and accommodating. My room faced the beautiful pool.

It's off the road a bit so kind of hard to find especially in the dark but once there the rooms are great.the beds are the most comfortable I have ever slept in. I actually slept all night long which is rare. They also had a breakfast bar thing. The staff was great also.My boyfriend forgot his ID at front desk & they made sure he got it back.

Found myself in the area for work again. I am excited to see the front desk ladies, Michelle and Lisa, again. Check in was with Juan ,who's new, was awesome. I hope Juan ,eventually, takes over the overnight shift. He was very knowledgeable and customer friendly. Once again my room smelled great when I entered and my bathroom was spotless. There were a few other hotels in the area that were a little cheaper but you get what you pay for. I'm disappointed at the shape of the other rooms at the other hotels, which I won't name, verse the price. Always, look at the room before you commit.

We had some unwelcome guests in our room, 3 total during our 2 night stay. Half the towels we received were poo stained and management was indifferent about the issues at best.

Staff is amazing and the property itself is probably hands down the nicest Super 8 I have stayed at. The rooms are clean and mostly updated. The outside grounds are clean and inviting. The staff has gone above and beyond to make our stay everything short of perfect. Thank you to the owners, management and staff of Super 8 Ellenton!

TV was outdated and the remote didn’t work. Wifi was horrible. Room smelled like smoke. Remnants of previous stays pet dander. Had to get the sheets replaced. Don’t leave anything out the place has ants & roaches! Front desk associate and manager were unprofessional. Lastly refrigerator had food from previous stay as well.

My room didnt have carpet so that was noice. Was clean smellin. Tv was old amd pretty slow but alot of channels. Door needed a weather seal, huge gap on the bottom but i just stuffed a towel down thwre. Lots if food around the hotel and a gasstation. Seems like there in the process of upgrading. Great value for a hotel that allows pets. Staff was great.

This hotel is 2 star for a very good reason. As a family of five, we just needed one room with a sofa bed for an overnight stay. The first room had dog slobber stains on the sofa bed and smelt of stale smoke. I asked for a different room and was given a bigger room, but it also smelled awful. Upon returning to the room late at night, we found the sofa bed did not have fresh sheets on. The receptionist gave us an additional room which smelled even worse than the other two. Whilst in reception late at night there was a very strange man lurking around. I did not feel safe at this hotel. Our kids wanted us to go to go elsewhere because it smelled so bad and we did not feel safe but this was at midnight and it was too late to go looking. We all slept badly and got up and left very early in the morning. I would not stay at this hotel ever again.

Manager wouldn’t let me park my Truck there for 15 minutes so I could go take a shower at the One9. Told me if I don’t buy a room for 169 then I can’t park there. Will never buy a room there if this how you would treat a trucker.

We stayed 1 night . Room was very clean , fresh linens . The pool was clean and refreshing. Lady at desk was friendly.

The price was good, but the room had issues. I had selected a handicap room and they had a roll-in shower which was great, but it was poorly constructed so there was a standing pool of water waiting for me and then using the shower flooded the floor. The room was clean, but the maid should have noticed that three of the light fixtures had bad bulbs that had visible light only when the room was dark. They did have a cheap breakfast, all carbs and no fruit or yogurt. I saw and killed a couple of roaches. When I reported them at check-out the response was good, an apology and writing down the room problems. Made me feel like the problem would get attention. They also add a $100 dollar security deposit to you credit card. While they credited the charge the day I checked out, it took 6 days to appear on my account.

Room smelled like smoke. Mentioned discrepancies to Front desk associate Kent. He was very discriminative toward our family upon check out we will never stay here again. Insect traps on the floor in unseen places. I would not recommend this place to anyone!

The staff went out of there way to make us happy. But their limited on what they can do. This place needs a full makeover. A/C bearly worked, room smelled, TV didn’t work Untill I jiggled the wall plug that was loose. At 6am we had a bounty hunter knock on our door looking for a lady, whom looked like my wife but a bit younger …..lol…. Oh well it was an experience we do not want again.

Customer service was terrible. Front desk clerk put hands on my partner and called the sheriff because he walked in to the office barefoot. Don't stay here if you don't want to be woken up by cops. Maid service also came to room at 8 am and tried entering even with the do not disturb sign on the door.

No internet! Their WiFi has an no certificate. Modern os (like Windows 10) will not connect because you can easily be hacked. After 3 days they fixed it. Too bad I had to use up all my mobile data.

Very clean with a courteous staff and easy access to and from main roads. Met all our expectations. I would recommend it to my family and friends.

We had confusion with third party, pet, and deposits, hotel was very helpful and professional and went above and beyond to help and fix any issues. Thank you Michelle and Kent for helping and being so understanding. Rooms and beds were perfect for the last stay and thank you again.

Right off the highway which has it's good and bad. Bad because it's noisy. Good because it's convenient. There's an ok seafood restaurant nearby and a gas station. Standard fare for a Florida motel. Lots of truckers and contractors with loud trucks. Some kind of slime was all over the walkway outside everyone's door, and I almost slipped and fell a few times. It wasn't condensate from the air conditioner. It was old beer or something fermenting. The staff was all super nice and the breakfast wasn't bad at all. Check in was easy and quick. Room was clean and smelled of disinfectant when I arrived. TV treble was ear-piercingly high. Lighting was okay but maybe change the color temperature from bright white to a warm white. This is supposed to be a bedroom. Also I have my doubts about the fire suppression system. Took a pic.

Great hotel and super clean. Freshly painted and nicely decorated. The bed was super comfortable and I did not wake up with a back ache which happens very often. Staff is super friendly. Definitely reccomended.

This motel totally surprised me... because it's sooo nice. Very nice updated rooms. Very friendly staff. Extremely clean rooms. Nice pool area. Pet friendly. Quiet at night. You can truly tell the owner cares about how everything looks. An awesome complimentary breakfast. Definitely a 5 star motel in my opinion.

This is a Nice kinda New Clean place. Smells Clean. No Carpet, Passes the No Sticky Floors test. Super comfy beds. Cold Quite AC and a Couch too. 9 tight Big truck spots. Absolutely would stay here again.

Very very very BAD place. Their service attitude was horrible!! I booked a room for 12/31 2021and found that the room bed was dirty and asked to change the room, but the front desk receptionist said there was no other room to change. She said my reservation would be canceled and they would refund me. That was ok with me. But I found that I was still charged. When I called the following week. The receptionist said that only till next week can I talk to the manager and hung the phone up.

Needed to book a room for 1 night but was refused because I lost my drivers license and my new one had not arrived yet even with presenting a passport! The man at the desk was very rude and not helpful at all. I contacted Wyndham and a passport should’ve been sufficient. Ended up in a better hotel in Bradenton.

Book with confidence. Rooms are large and updated and clean. Breakfast was typical but fresh and well stocked. A considerable number of cleaning staff all over the property and greets with a smile. Desk crew were cordial and happy.

Totally satisfied with the hotel. Clean rooms with everything one needs to be comfortable. The front desk is (what a relief!) mature lady who is polite, quick, and accommodating. The breakfast in the morning is absolutely find by today's standards. Easy in. Easy out.
