Long story short, they basically stole my money. I've been ordering from Islands for a while now. Last week I placed an order through their website for a delivery. After 2 hours with no update, I called the story repeatedly with no answer. I checked that the order had went through and I had a confirmation email, as well as a credit card transaction for the order. I called again the next day and they informed me they had closed earlier the night before... so I'm not sure why they'd accept my order. I asked about the credit card charge and after consulting with the manager I was told to "just dispute the charge". I immediately reached out to my credit card company who couldn't dispute the charge because it "was not a fraudulent charge" and I had no documentation to support me not receiving the item/service. So I called the restaurant back.... multiple times. I asked for a refund, I've asked to speak to a manager, I've left numerous voicemails over the last week. Not only have I not received a refund, I haven't even gotten a call back to try and resolve the situation and haven't been able to speak to a manager in the 10+ times my call has been answered.

If you want to spend 50 bucks on a pizza that gets to your house cold and wrong toppings order here. Then tell you they don’t know how long it’s going to take to redeliver the correct pizza, I have a hungry family to feed and this is the last time I ever order there.. just horrible customer service on top of that…

EDIT: 10/22 I've been meaning to edit this review for some time now. Since my first order here, I've ordered many more times. The chicken wings continue to be amazing, but everything else I've ordered from here (spaghetti, chicken alfredo, garlic knots, etc) all have tasted horrible. Plus, they've raised prices so for me, it's just not worth it. I no longer order here unless it's the wings. Original review: (4 stars) Ordered breaded, garlic rubbed wings with fries on UberEats. It took a little while for my food to be prepared (it was lunchtime), but the taste of the wings made it worth the wait! While I wasn't crazy about the fries (they weren't bad, just not my fave), the wings were just hands down the best tasting wings I've ordered from any restaurant on UberEats. Breaded well, with the perfect amount of crisp and seasoning. I would definitely order them again. 12 wings for $9 isn't a bad deal at all.

Been here a few times worst food ever….. pizza burn, seems under the heat lamp all day…..unacceptable pizza……would have been better frozen pizza at Publix should not call themselves a pizza place

I live on the island and pay taxes in a community I love. I stopped by this bar with my wife to enjoy a night out. We were harassed by some people at the bar. I was told by staff to be quiet . I was called a racist by this man. I was still told to be quiet by the staff. In fear for not only my life but my wife’s I realized the staff knew these people I was hesitant to leave and contemplated calling the police. I can’t believe I live in a community that doesn’t back it’s tax paying customers. I no longer feel safe on Davis Island. Maybe the Tate’s had a better control over there establishment.

Great place to grab a quick slice if you're on the island. I found it by accident delivering for Uber eats. Turns out the people who ordered from there knew what they were doing and it turns out the food is pretty good. The sweet girl behind the counter was also very accommodating.

I’m not one to go out of my way and write a negative review but I felt like it was necessary. Came here for a quick lunch with a friend and met Ashley who was working and another woman too. As soon as we walked in we weren’t greeted which wasn’t my biggest concern other than the fact that she was on her phone the whole time as we were ordering. I ordered garlic knots and a slice of pizza which took way longer than a slice of pizza should take to heat up. We sat outside to eat so I came back in to ask how long the garlic knots would take, because it already was a lot longer than expected and they both proceed to run to the back as they saw I was coming in. Ashley was again on the phone and the other woman wasn’t really being nice. Pizza was good but as far as customer service, don’t expect them to acknowledge you.

Everything about this place is great. The food is truly amazing. The liquor and wine selection is impressive, to say the least. Love this place and the staff.

Greatttt pizza! Both my husband and son loved their slices. Great little location with indoor and outdoor seating. Perfect to grab a quick slice with ice cream after. Nice cashier. Clean bathroom. Bar next door with lots of drink opts. No wait, no crowd. We will def weave into our pizza spots!! So glad we tried.

I would have included a photo but there wasn’t a single slice left! Fantastic New York style. The crust was crust and full of air bubbles. The small feels like a medium and the medium feels like a large. Full of toppings. I’m definitely ordering 4 Large pizzas for our Gasparilla crowd.

I had a pretty alright time here last night. Great company, great pizza, good pino grigio. My friend and I got a large pizza that was half white pizza and half chicken sun-dried tomato. Maybe the pizza was really, really good; however, i believe it was the people there (including the friend i went with, as well as the woman who served us, and the other people there) who really made it surprisingly awesome.

Pizza is great! Great 2 slice and a soda special for $7.50

This bar is connected to a pizzeria on one side then a wine a cheese place in the other. There's something there for everyone! One of the biggest liquor selections available in the area. It's considered a whiskey bourbon bar and the selection is impressive along with a wide variety aside from whiskey and bourbon. They have specials every night and Sunday is flip night... Where you flip a coin 50/50 for every drink you purchase, a very fun and rewarding special! Very cool

Pizza used to be better but still is really good. Not sure if it's because staff is constantly rotating but I find over the years there is a bit of inconsistency. However, notice I still gave this spot a 4 star rating. I always stop at this place for a slice. I suggest you do the same.

My wife and I don’t live on the island but we DREAM about this pizza and will make the drive just to get it! It is so good every single time and a large pizza is enough to feed our whole family when we get together! I have eaten their other pizzas but the white pizza is by far my favorite! No other white pizza even comes close to being as delicious as the one Islands Pizza makes. Definitely check it out!

I ordered a pizza and waited over an hour just for the driver to call and say they never got my order. I had email conformation and tracking sent to my email. After that they said "to bad kitchen is closed." They had no problem charging me though. Now I have to jump through hoops to get MY MONEY back.

"Islands Pizza Tavern" on Davis Island, FL, is a "no joke" hidden gem for pizza and bourbon lovers. Their incredible handcrafted pizzas, boast the perfect crust and delicious toppings. Plus, you can get it by the slice!!! They also have one of greatest Bourbon selections in Tampa. (Their selection would be even impressive in Kentucky). So, if you are looking for a barrel pick and a slice, look no further than Islands Pizza Tavern!

I’ve eaten here countless times. John (owner) and I have never really seen eye to eye, but the man knows how to run a business. The pizza runs Westshore pizza into the ground and it’s hard to beat the drink prices. White pizza and the meatzza are my go to, wings are pretty on point as well…doesn’t really matter what you get, when you go, or who you’re with. 10/10 totally recommend: Keep doing what you do John.

Very good Pizza by the slice. Also serves whole pizza. Good sub sandwiches. Convenient location and attached to a sports bar.

By far the pizza here is awesome and family friendly plus there's a bar right next store pretty good spot to have a cold glass of beer and watch the games or just relax and chill 💯

BEST WHISKEY SELECTION IN TAMPA BAY!!! AND THE PIZZA'S GREAT TOO! I'm not kidding, the whiskey selection here is larger than the finest bars and steakhouses in Tampa. IT'S AMAZING! If you're a whiskey drinker, then try this place out!
