Very odd experience and I will never be back. Wanted to like the place. Great location. Server was very kind. And the atmosphere was promising. I'm a black woman and came with a group of friends, ready to sing karaoke. We were informed that song selections had to avoid hard core rap, slow songs and reggaeton. That limited our music options so after a long selection process, we chose a couple songs and just moved on. Next thing we know several slow songs were being played and learned that with manager approval, you MIGHT be able to sing what you want. We asked the manager to break down the inconsistency. He responded he could do what he wanted because "I own this place". Well I was a customer supporting your business that spent $100 on drinks, so I guess I didnt matter. My argument was that even with approval request, that doesn't mean that you'll know the song, and it felt isolating. I referenced being "culturally sensitive" and he immediately got defensive by saying "and I'm not black?" A man with white skin asked me this. And if he was black, shame on him for responding to such a sensitive concern that way. He immediately minimized me, and you could tell that receiving feedback isn't his strong suit. And now, looking at his responses to negative reviews, I'm gIad I ended the conversation. My heart began beating out of my chest and I found the nearest exit. I really didnt care about those rules when it came down to it. It was the lack of consistency and the approach you have with your guests. We wont be back. As far as your response below. No one mentioned the word racist. If anything, it was ignorant and insensitive behavior. Definitely room for growth and a simple apology would've sufficed instead of once again defending yourself. We sang two songs. Have a nice day.

Spent 80+ for a burnt hookah, we all maybe got 2 or 3 hits in before it tasted burnt right away. This was brought to the bartenders attention and he tried to fix it. We finally decided to just ask for a new hookah head since this one was burnt and done even after moving the coals around. He told us the policy was to pay for a new head (insane). He brought over the owner and we were told the same thing except he decided to try pass blame onto us saying we had it for an hour. If your buisness is hurting so bad for 50 cents worth of shisha/tobacco you should just close up shop, no shame in that. Not everyone is built to own a business. **edit for response. The hookah was burnt only 5 minutes in and was brought to your employees attention. For clarification the total bill was 90, 45 was the hookah + a 20% service charge which is ridiculous for a burnt head. Sangria was very watered down. I can only assume this place is financially struggling (place looked very empty.) Which would explain the owners actions. Wanna know what is crazy? If we were served correctly we were going to buy a refill+ try other drinks. Instead a bar down the street ended up getting another $100+ of our buisness in just drinks. You should take this on the chin as a buisness lesson to learn from.

Wings were good but obviously come from baby birds! Empanadas were a great size for a kid's size . . . their website does say 'small plates' and they are small! Tater tots were ok. Excellent wait staff, delicious drinks and expensive. There is no specific area for dancing. No on-site parking.

Going back to what Amber said, the owner/manager had complete control of what songs we could sing during “PartyYoke” as a group of 7 of us, we were denied singing every song we requested, all but 2 songs. We were told (by the DJ) that we could NOT sing any rap, Reggaeton, reggae, R&B and hip-hop, and that we can only sing upbeat songs (NO SLOW SONGS). The DJ specifically told us we could not sing ANY John Legend, ESCAPE, SWV, DRAKE, but we can rap to biggie and some 2Pac. So the rules are already out of order. To give examples of the denied songs we requested: Tevin Campbell - can we talk… upbeat Michael Jackson - P.Y.T…. Upbeat Songs “OTHERS” sang that was approved: Ne-Yo - So Sick…. Slow song Jace Everett - Bad Things…. Slow song Some song by John Legend… slow song, and so on and so on. The problem I have is that when we tried to address our experience with management/owner he immediately got offensive when we said the word “cultural” and implied that we were calling him racist. He Said to us “I am not a black man”. Sir, we know you’re not black, but what we were simply saying we felt isolated, secluded, and ostracized during our time at this establishment. He refused to listen to what we were saying because he continuously kept cutting everyone off so he could get his point across. He even tried to blame us for not knowing an undocumented policy about coming to him for song approvals, as if we have been here before. He was so easily offended and not open to hearing feedback. And reading the responses to the reviews people have left about their unfortunate experience at this establishment only lets me know that the owner does not care about how you feel. Like, how could you tell someone not to come back to your establishment after they told you they had a bad experience with the services YOU provided? Don’t worry about telling me not to come back. Unacceptable! It wasn’t just us either. There were a group of ladies who kept getting all of their songs denied, got upset and left. I just find it funny that most of the reviews that are shared and the experience was bad just so happened to be shared by people of color. Everyone can’t be lying! Definitely practicing bad business! The owner said he’s not racist, well let’s talk about it since HE brought it up. Even if you are not racist, you definitely have some type of cultural insensitivity going on to where you are not willing to sit down and just LISTEN to what paying customers have to say. Growth is definitely a necessity for this establishment. Also the sangria flights were not good, the food wasn’t good, hookah was $50 and was not good, and to top it all they CHARGED A 20% SERVICE CHARGE EVERY TIME WE SWIPED OUR CARDS…. without notice!

Walked by here for several months before I decided to stop in as it never seemed to be very busy, which is a shame. But glad I finally did. Several flavors of red and white sangria. You can order a flight to try several. Flatbread was surprisingly good.

This place is now on our regular list. We love this place. In a very safe neighborhood. Cigar friendly plus hookahs and a great local vibe with late night hours. There's a separate cigar lounge. We had the pleasure of hanging out with the owners John and La La. The spot to go when you're done with Ybor.

Nice sophisticated bar. The spinach artichoke Flatbread was very good. The crust was soft yet crisp at the same time. Fresh veggies 😋 The appetizer chicken wings were lightly sauced, which I prefer, but other guests at the table thought they lacked sauce. The waitress were prompt and helpful with menu selections. The indoor/outdoor seating options were very nice as well. I would recommend visiting this hip location.

I don’t mind paying for the service if it’s right but look at the hooka and it’s 50$ for what will never go back and end of night they gave my credit card to someone else the owner was really rude about the situation instead of helping out and see what he can do he started to argue about it very poor Management

A good start with room for improvement. Very friendly staff as we sat in high energy environment. Menus offers some interesting tapas style options. I was a big fan of the shrimp scampi, not such a big fan of black chocolate cherry Sangria. I found it nice to sample a sangria flight and surprised that there were more white options than red. Future consideration should be given to offering champagne sangria as an alternative to all moscato based white options. Coming back in a few weeks for happy hour with the girls.

Nice place to chill alone or with a group of friends and family. I thought drinks and hookah were on the over price side compared to other places we have been. Location plays a big part. Our bartender was the best, Thanks Alexis for taking care of us.

All I can say is WOW! The owner was so rude. The staff was rude. They didn't know how to make certain very popular drinks. We asked for a hookah and the bartender kept putting us off and telling us it was going to be 15 to 20-minute wait because the person who made their hookahs was helping the DJ setup LOL. The weirdest experience I have ever had. Definitely won't go back. 🤮

Been here before Food was cold an gross. Management is rude. I went there with my friends that live near by. I’ll never go there again. Better off at the mermaid tavern or Columbia restaurant. DONOT recommend, don’t believe me. Just look how they responds to their reviews and how they respond to customers reviews when giving critique. That shows how good their service is. If a customer complaints they don’t seem to own up. You should really have better training on customer service etiquette. Sometimes is best to swallow your pride.

It looked like a fun place to go out and eat. The restaurant was quiet and the staff were distracted with training staff and getting the tv’s to work. The food was limited but good. The sangria’s tasted sweet but the pour was a little too light. Still, a place I would try to visit again, maybe on a weekend.

Did a Google search and found this place and I loved it. I will return! The drinks were good and not watered down and the flatbreads OMG, so good. I had cheesesteak and my friend had buffalo chicken and both tasted fresh not frozen and really good. Didn't take forever either and our server was great too. Sitting outside was very pleasant that day there was a nice breeze blowing. This was at 7p however so not blazing hot or we would've been inside.

If you have any kind of issue here don't expect to have it corrected. We got a hookah that was $45, had it for about 5-10 mins when it started to taste burnt, we informed the bartender who came over and tried to fix it, the hookah however still tasted burnt. We asked for a replacement head and were told no "because we had been there for an hour" which wasn't true. The owner or manager came out and clearly had a problem, he didn't want to help and was very confrontational. In all, it was $90 we spent to have a burnt hookah for less than a hour. Save your money or check out a different hookah spot.

This spot is really a good vibe i liked the bartenders energy and attention to details. They serve hookah not the best I've had but definitely doable. I like how every 30 mins or so when I was there the have a customer spin and wheel and that what the special will be for a certain time frame. It was a cool concept I've never seen anywhere else.

Just moved into the neighborhood and decided to stop in for a Sangria. I lived in Madrid for 2 years and this is the closest to Spanish Sangria I’ve had since moving back. Shout out to Jerome and Scott for being so welcoming. Bonus, they are dog friendly! Check this place out

We had our work Christmas party at La la’s and it was wonderful. Our original plan fell through and we were in limbo with about 30-40 people expecting to be at our Christmas party. Was able to go by La la’s and they gave us the go ahead to have it there on short notice. Staff was very accommodating and we had a great time. Definitely a place I will frequent. Good small bite plates and great drinks as well !!!

the bar whole vibe. We went in raggae night. The duo at the circle bar were amazing. Mustache guy (so sorry never caught your name) was extremely charismatic and attentive. The drinks were just strong enough and The DJ mixed raggae and oldies through and through. I’ll be back 🥰

I was passing by, and my friend suggested grabbing a drink. All was fine. The bartenders were super nice. But the only problem is when it becomes a karaoke situation and someone with a really bad voice and drunk starts singing !!!!

Customer service is great! 👍🏿 I've been here a couple of times and I love the atmosphere. I also like the fact that they have hookah which is one of the reasons why I visit but the flavour doesn't last and once they change the coals it starts to burn.

The atmosphere is great. Music is a hit or miss. We had a misunderstanding with parking, but the manager was quick to assess service recovery. He comped us with a few rounds of drinks. Aside from it being a sangria bar, they also have a room that serves as a hookah lounge. I tried the Starwberry lemonade sangria, and it was delicious! They vary, though. Keeping a fresh menu upon every visit. They have indoor and outdoor sitting. Bar side, bar tops, and couches for a lounging area outside. It is located at a busy intersection, but at the times I have visited in the evenings, traffic is not bothersome. Bartenders are pleasant and provide good customer service.

They have def gone down hill since the last time we were there. They lost their liquid license. For what reason.. I could only guess. But on a Saturday night, there was only 4 people there. My woman and I still had a decent time regardless. Its such a beautiful spot tho. And a prime location near channel side.. Hope they can turn it around.

Came here following date night for a quick smoke. Staff very accommodating, we brought our own cigars and bought a bottle of wine. The lounge is cute, clean and comfy. Kitchen was open past 11pm and the staff -Eric - was very attentive. We were allowed to change channels and indulge in our smokes. Overall 10/10 experience

Paid $45 for a burnt hookah. Asked for a new head because we couldn't even smoke the bowl because of it being burnt. Bartender tried to fix the issue. Owner came out and was clearly looking for an issue. Was told we can't have a replacement head because we had been there for over an hour, which was false. "Well when there's 4 people here smoking a hookah, it's going to get burnt" The problem was, the four of us couldn't smoke the hookah, due to it being burnt. Also paid $26 for a pitcher of sangria that was disgusting. Why were there pieces of cantaloupe in a raspberry sangria? Also was charged a 20% service fee AND they expected a tip. 0/10 wouldn't recommend this place. Spend $90 somewhere else for a hookah and drinks that actually are worth it.
