I
really
debated
posting
this
review.
But
I
just
can't
help
wondering
how
many
people
who
don't
know
their
dental
benefits
or
just
trust
their
dental
office
to
not
screw
them
over,
have
been
taken
advantage
of.
My
first
visit
was
amazing.
I
really
like
the
dentist
and
the
office
staff
was
very
nice.
However,
when
I
came
back
to
go
over
the
estimates
for
very
expensive
dental
work
that
I
wanted
to
have
done
by
someone
who
specializes
in
it,
I
was
floored
at
what
happened
-
and
NOT
in
a
good
way!
As
I
was
looking
over
the
estimates
with
the
office
lady,
I
noticed
she
put
I
only
had
a
$1,000
per
calendar
year
benefit.
I
questioned
this
because
I
don't
have
a
max
calendar
year
benefit
for
anything
other
than
crowns,
dentures,
restorative
dental
work,
braces,
things
like
that,
and
it's
WAY
OVER
$1,000
per
year.
Any
other
dental
work
is
unlimited
benefits
because
my
insurance
pays
on
a
fee
schedule.
I
know
my
dental
benefits
like
the
back
of
my
hand
-
it's
been
the
same
for
the
seven
years
I've
had
it.
The
look
of...shock
we'll
call
it,
that
came
across
her
face
told
me
all
I
needed
to
know!
She
told
me
that
the
print
out
from
Allegiant
care
(my
dental
insurance)
said
I
had
a
$1,000
max
per
calendar
year
benefit.
I
asked
her
to
show
me
where
in
that
print
out
it
said
that.
Her
story
then
changed
to
her
computer
showed
that
was
my
max
benefit.
When
I
asked
her
to
show
me
where
in
her
computer
it
said
that,
her
story
changed,
again!
This
time,
she
said
she
called
my
insurance
company
and
they
told
her
that.
I
very
bluntly
told
her
I
don't
believe
her
that
anyone
at
my
insurance
told
her
that.
Her
next
story
was
that
my
insurance
told
her
anyone
with
an
R40
group
code
has
a
$1,000
per
calendar
year
max
and
a
$25
deductible...now,
the
$25
deductible
is
partially
true,
there
is
also
a
family
deductible
that
has
to
met
as
well,
the
rest,
a
complete
lie.
At
this
point,
I
took
my
phone
out
and
told
her
I
was
going
to
call
my
insurance
company
because
if
they've
magically
changed
my
benefits,
the
last
two
weeks
of
December,
I'd
like
to
know.
The
lady
(I
apologize,
I
was
so
annoyed
I
don't
remember
her
name)
told
me
I
wasn't
allowed
to
call
my
insurance
company
in
her
office,
I
would
have
to
wait
until
I
left
their
whole
office
before
I
would
be
able
to
call
them.
I
know
she's
full
of
it
at
this
point,
but
I
decided
to
continue
this
conversation
to
see
how
far
she
would
go
with
the
lie
and
no
shock
here,
her
story
changed,
again.
This
time,
she
said
their
office
isn't
in
network
with
Allegiant
Care
so
Allegiant
Care
told
her
my
out
of
network
benefits
maxed
at
$1,000
per
calendar
year.
Honestly,
I
laughed
at
her
when
she
said
that.
My
insurance
DOESN'T
have
a
network,
never
has.
I
can
literally
go
to
any
dentist,
in
any
state,
and
they
will
pay
the
bill
according
to
their
(Allegiant)
fee
schedule.
I
told
her
I
know
she's
lying
because
I
don't
have
an
in
network
or
out
of
network,
there
is
NO
network
with
Allegiant
Care.
I'll
give
her
credit,
she
was
holding
onto
this
lie
for
dear
life!
I
then
told
her
I
was
all
done
with
this
appointment
and
I
wouldn't
be
using
their
office
for
any
dental
work
and
left.
That
initial
look
of
shock
when
she
realized
I
know
my
dental
benefits
spoke
a
thousands
words
-
she
is
clearly
used
to
people
who
either
don't
know
their
benefits
or
just
don't
question
their
dental
office
and
pay
whatever
fees
their
told.
And
that,
is
scary!
The
dentist
himself
was
wonderful,
very
nice,
and
knows
what
he's
doing
and
talking
about.
It's
a
shame
though
because
that
office/insurance
lady...she's
a
whole
other
story!
If
you
use
this
dental
office,
know
your
benefits
and
know
them
like
the
back
of
your
hand!
Ask
for
an
estimate,
even
for
a
cleaning
and
go
over
it
with
a
fine
tooth
comb!
Call
your
insurance
and
confirm
the
out
of
pocket
expense
they
quote
you!
