A hidden gem! I get to eat in the most amazing places all over the US...BY FAR, tonight I found my favorite! The staff was amazing, the decor and environment was classy casual (suit or sweats!) And THE FOOD!!!! OMG by far the cleanest tasting...every herb, every natural flavor, every single bite was something to write home about!! If you're in Manchester, NH...THIS IS WHERE YOU SHOULD EAT! The prices were great and I met the chef and the wife and son and they are kind, down to earth, approachable people who obv just love what they do! THANK YOU for a 1st class meal! Can't wait to come back!!

Overall, I rate Cotton very highly. There was a glitch in the kitchen that meant my meal was not ready when everyone else's was. I had to wait at least 10+ minutes while everyone else began eating. I'm also the slowest eater in our group, which made it even worse. But the wait staff were super apologetic, and when my food came it was excellent. All 8 people in our group really enjoyed their food, and our waitress was very personable and did her best to make us comfortable and kept checking to see if we needed anything. She even stood and chatted with us about different things; very friendly! I would look forward to going back to Cotton in the future.

We walked in not realizing we needed reservations on a Saturday night. They were very accommodating and sat us rite away. The food was excellent and the drinks were tasty. Recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for some traditional food choices in the Manchester area.

My wife and I tried out Cotton for the first time for our anniversary. We were greeted and congratulated by the hostess who seated us in a cozy corner of the banquette. The restaurant was full as expected for a Friday night but did not feel crowded and was not overly loud. Our server was polite and attentive without being hovering. We started with drinks and bread followed by the Asian Pot Stickers for an appetizer. We each had a salad, one Caesar and one Simple Green salad. For dinner we tried the Bistro Steak and the Meatloaf. Dessert was the Lemon Creme Cake. Everything was delicious and the pace of the meal was perfect. Nothing was rushed and neither did we wait too long. The prices are on par with what one would expect from this type of restaurant. There is a small free parking lot which fills quickly and ample space in a paid public parking lot that is adjacent. It is conveniently located off the highway and walking distance from everyplace downtown. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and we would highly recommend anyone try it.

Always an amazing experience at Cotton. It has been consistently delicious for years. The mashed potatoes are a staple with just about every meal with a wide range of sauces accompanying the dishes. Drinks were delicious as always and the apps were a highlight as well. Reservations full up fast, so make sure you plan ahead!

An absolutely incredible experience in every way! The scallops entree has been the absolute best meal I've had in all of 2022! An absolute must visit!

We went to celebrate our anniversary on a Friday night. Everything was perfect. We were seated right away. Our server, Brian was attentive and personable. Just dropped by to catch a quick bite to eat before a movie. I was really excited - and the first popcorn shrimp I had was delicious. The rest of the meal, however, was tainted by uncleaned shrimp. I understand a couple may slide, but two? We go out to eat at restaurants because they specialize in food. I really couldn't enjoy the rest of my meal if I'm being honest, but the staff and ambience was nice. Maybe the jokes on me for ordering shrimp.. But come on. There is poop. On my plate. And I paid for it :)

Had an excellent dinner with my wife and would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a nicer place to eat. Food was outstanding! We had the Sweet and Spicy Popcorn Shrimp, Cotton's Bistro Steak & New England Lobster Scallop Ravioli.

Enjoyed the atmosphere, a tasty calamari appetizer, and a crab patty burger. Price wasn't prohibitive but it is hidden away a little bit.

Idk if I'd say FINE dining. Up a notch .. but figure out what fine means.

I love Cotton. They have some of the best take out in the city and their in restaurant experience is great as well. The drinks are fantastic. The food quality is out of this world. Just make sure to get a reservation before heading in because this place books up quick.

Great food, great drinks, great service,great atmosphere

One of my favorite restaurants in Manchester. My favorite dish is the Turkey Schnitzel. Other guests from out of town had steak and Jambalaya. Both looked and smelled very good. I am very much looking forward to my next visit to NH and Cotton.

Great food good atmosphere but a bit too noisy for me. Outside dinning is nice as well. Love the crab cakes and fried chicken!!!

My fiance and I went on a Sunday night. We were seated promptly and had time to read the drink menu. They make great martinis. We then ordered our food. My fiance ordered the Steak Diane and I ordered Fried Chicken. Both were cooked to perfection. Our server was excellent. It was a great dinner. It was very relaxing and we enjoyed our time there.

The food was good. The only unfortunate part was that one of the dinners didn't come until most of us were done with dinner. It seems like our server forgot to order it.

I ordered the scallops with sweet potato hash and it was “I want to eat this every day” good. Boyfriend order steak, cooked to perfect. Service was great. Appetizers were delicious. Classy setting and perfect for a date night.

We were really looking forward to trying Cotton. It's been on my list for awhile, and have heard top notch recommendations about the spot. Unfortunately, our experience didn't live up to the hype. Despite having reservations on a Saturday, the only table available was a tiny two top in the bar which was practically in the laps of our neighbors; we could easily hear their conversation as they could ours. The drinks and desserts were on point, but the food menu was uninspired and both our dishes were cooked incorrectly (my medium steak was very rare, hub's midrare lamb was well done). A lot of things could have been forgiven, but for the price point, the issues in their entirety lead us away from returning.

Wonderful place to eat! Food was amazing. Our waitress was so friendly and helpful! We had steak, herb-crusted chicken, and a seafood casserole, plus the goat cheese & marinara appetizer and a few drinks. Atmosphere was excellent, we couldn't quite land on a description for the style - maybe an industrial/southern/roaring 20's vibe. Very unique. We'd go back for sure.

Super nice atmosphere. Very nostalgic. Seating fairly close but not terrible. Server was prompt and attentive. Food was great but would have been even better if served hotter. Surprising because the food came out very quickly. May be the plates need warming??? The 2 dishes ordered were steak, I think Delmonico or Ribeye and the Scallops with sweet potato hash. Very tasty!

Very, very good! Fried chicken and flat iron steak entrees were great. Steak was perfectly cooked, chicken was delicious. Sides were pretty good, so were the drinks. Mashed potatoes were good, steamed broccoli was pretty plain. Great bread! Pear martini was DELISH! Service was pretty good, could have been a little quicker and more friendly, but overall, it was a good experience.

Great little restaurant. Food was very good, drinks well done. Beer selection not very big but still several to choose from. Waitress very attentive and friendly. Best to make a reservation as it was packed on Tuesday.

We had loved this place when we formerly lived in the Manchester area, and returning there tonight didn't disappoint! The addition of a lamb frites dish was a welcome (and delicious) surprise, and a chocolate torte had a truly decadent quality. Great place as always, from the bread to begin your meal to its finish.

Fried chicken was great, lamb was good, meatloaf was just like home. Mixed drinks were delicious. Great attentive service. Recommend reservations, it was busy. Price was good considering the food and service.

I visited Cotton about two weeks ago and I STILL have not stopped thinking about the food. It’s very rare that I finish my plate when I eat out but I most definitely did here. The crab cakes are unbelievable! Our waitress was so sweet and knowledgeable she gave us some great suggestions which panned out to be one of the best meals I’ve had in Manchester in a long time. The outdoor area was perfect and so romantic. I look forward to coming back very soon.

Sat outside on an early Friday evening, it was my special birthday. Delicious appetizers & meals with close family members. There were 5 of us. Enjoyed the attention from our server. Everything was a 5 star. $$.

nice place for dinner. food, service, and atmosphere were great. sat on the patio, very relaxing, quaint atmosphere. started with crab cakes. large, a lot of crab, and very good. she had the lobster ravioli and I had the delmonico. ordered medium, but it was over cooked. closer to well done. however, I didn't send it back because it was still very juicy and great flavor. seasoned perfectly. the drinks were ok. food, service, and atmosphere were great. for the money, this is a good place. will definitely go back.

First time eating at Cotton, and we wish we started going there years ago. Too many delicious looking items on the menu, its hard to pick just one to order. The jambalaya was excellent. The farmhouse salad with pan-seared scallops was excellent. The toasted coconut cocktail was a bit sweet for me, but my wife loved the martini flight cocktail. The crab cakes appetizer is wonderful. And the price is reasonable, on top of it all, along with the wonderful service we had. We'll be back!

Great food and cozy atmosphere

We had a lovely dinner at Cotton! We made a reservation online and then called a couple of hours before arriving at the restaurant to confirm that our reservation was for their outside patio, which is beautiful! We ordered martinis to drink, popcorn shrimp appetizer, and steak/chicken/turkey schnitzel for dinner.

One of the best restaurants I've been to in the area

The most delicious steak I've ever had. It melts in your mouth. All the seasoning are complementing the whole dish. The mixture of potatoes: a little tangy, then with caramelized onions and the pesto. You don't have to put seasoning to eat.

I dine out a lot and Cotton has become a favorite go-to. The staff is super friendly and accomodating- and the Salmon plate is simply outstanding!

This restaurant is amazing. I've tried a variety of different foods, and they've all been delicious, but my absolute favorite is the almond-crusted Turkey schnitzel. If you love turkey, please try this dish! It has a cheddar cheese gratinee, bourbon applesauce, mashed potatoes and buttered green beans. It is absolute heaven. Perfection every time.

Everyone's dinner but one was above yummy. They received a 5 because they know how to treat and understand their customers... the one dinner was comped, sho all good!
