Authentic
traditional
Mexican
food,
a
block
north
of
the
main
drag
Hwy
412,
through
Siloam
Springs.
A
very
friendly
mom
and
pop
operated
restaurant.
My
wife
had
the
Torta
with
barbacoa.
A
big
crusty
grilled
bolillo
filled
with
barbacoa.
The
delicious
massive
sandwich
was
packed
with
the
moist
tender
beef.
She
couldn’t
finish
it
all.
I
went
with
enchiladas,
beef
with
red
sauce,
served
with
beans
and
rice
on
the
side.
I
asked
about
the
red
sauce
to
make
sure
it
wasn’t
tomato
sauce.
The
owner
assured
me
that
it
was
traditional
red
sauce
made
in
the
restaurant
from
dried
chilis.
She
also
made
it
clear
that
her
food
was
not
TexMex.
Salsa
picante
is
available.
Two
delicious
authentic
meals.
I
added
a
mangonada
to
the
order.
I
have
seen
these
before,
but
never
tried
one.
If
you
are
an
authentic
Mexican
food
connoisseur,
you
know
what
they
are.
For
those
of
you
that
are
a
novice
like
me,
I
will
provide
my
assessment
of
the
colorful
fruity
cup
of
brain
freeze.
It
is
sweet,
sour,
salty,
tangy,
sugary,
fruity,
icy
crunchy,
colorful
cup
of
both
fresh
and
blended
fruit.
And
brain
freeze
it
is.
Hell,
I
didn’t
know
you
were
supposed
to
stir
it
up
first.
My
wife
took
the
first
bite
off
the
top.
Mostly
consisting
of
the
bright
red
tamarind
sauce
and
salt.
She
tapped
out
and
handed
the
cup
to
me.
After
my
similar
experience
sampling
the
treat,
I
began
stirring.
After
that
it
was
delicious.
My
wife
still
didn’t
care
for
it.
I
loved
it.
The
good
thing
is
that
if
I
ever
order
another
I
won’t
have
to
share.
Very
good
real
deal
authentic
Mexican
food.
If
you
are
looking
for
other
Mexican
restaurants
in
the
area,
check

my
collection
"Jalapeno
Highway"
on
Yelp.
I've
probably
been
there.
