We
were
really
looking
forward
to
Seoul
Bites
but
were
a
bit
disappointed
today.
Pros:
-
Very
nice
ambiance,
modern
decor,
clean
tables
and
bathrooms
(obviously
they
invested
a
lot
here
which
leads
me
to
my
point
on
cost
of
food)
-
Staff
was
friendly,
although
keep
in
mind
this
is
a
SELF-SERVICE
restaurant
-
Food
was
fresh
however
see
below
on
taste
and
cost
Suggested
Improvements:
-
Food
is
not
authentic
Korean,
and
extremely
spicy
(as
in
Indian
spicy).
This
is
more
Korean-Indian
fusion.
We
expected
the
ability
to
change
spice
levels-
not
possible.
We
hope
they
offer
this
because
our
mouths
and
throats
were
burning
after
eating
our
meal.
We
literally
had
to
go
to
the
ice
cream
shop
across
the
street
afterwards.
-
Food
is
too
expensive
for
portion
size.
We
paid
around
$30
per
person.
I
completely
understand
inflation,
but
we’ve
had
a
lot
better
and
much
larger
portions
elsewhere
(that
are
also
halal).
Either
increase
portions
or
bring
down
your
prices.
You
should
not
be
charging
$30
a
plate,
especially
when
you
don’t
have
actual
waiters
to
justify
the
overhead.
-
Ordering
food
at
tables
is
done
via
your
own
phone
and
zero
interaction
with
a
server.
Which
makes
it
very
difficult
to
customize
your
dinner,
as
the
app
is
restrictive.
You
also
tip
BEFORE
you
get
your
food???
Which
brings
me
to
my
next
point,
it
appears
they
expect
tip
when
it’s
99%
self
service
(you
have
to
get
plates,
utensils,
napkins
and
your
drinks
yourself).
We
did
tip,
as
most
customers,
feeling
guilty
about
the
restaurant
service
industry-
however
it
comes
down
to
this:
if
you
feel
your
workers
are
underpaid,
pay
them
more.
Don’t
expect
your
customers
to
make
that
up
especially
when
you’re
a
self
service
restaurant.
-
Finally
(another
reviewer
also
left
this),
PLEASE
ADD
ALLERGENS
to
your
menus.
Our
son
also
has
a
severe
sesame
allergy
and
there
was
literally
sesame
sprinkled
on
everything.
Overall,
decent
experience
but
it
can
be
so
much
better!
