Amazing pho and fried rice! Wowed and happily full. Had the pho with the ginger beef and Iโ€™ve never had something so delicious, rich, and delicate all at the same time. The fried rice was flavorful, generous, and perfectly cooked. Their menu is varied and we canโ€™t wait to go back and try more dishes! Update: went back and had the chicken pho with dark meat. This time the broth was light yet flavorful! Just what I needed. We also tried the Banh Mi and wow, total flavor bomb, absolutely delicious. If this was an episode of Shokugeki no Soma (Food Wars) weโ€™d be shirtless.

I recently visited Lantern House Restaurant in Falls Church and was blown away by the delicious flavors and authentic Vietnamese dishes. The restaurant has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, with traditional lanterns and decor that transport you to Vietnam. The menu at Lantern House Restaurant is extensive, with a wide variety of appetizers, entrees, and desserts. I started with the fresh spring rolls, which were packed with fresh vegetables and shrimp, and served with a flavorful peanut dipping sauce. For my entree, I opted for the pho, a traditional Vietnamese noodle soup, and it did not disappoint. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the noodles and meat were cooked to perfection. I also tried the shaking beef, a popular Vietnamese dish, and it was tender and full of flavor. The service at Lantern House Restaurant was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff who were happy to offer recommendations and answer any questions we had. The prices were also reasonable, especially given the generous portions and high quality of the food. Overall, I highly recommend Lantern House Restaurant for anyone looking for authentic and delicious Vietnamese food in Falls Church. The cozy atmosphere, extensive menu, and friendly service make it a great spot for a casual dinner or a special occasion. I will definitely be returning to try more of their amazing dishes!

This new restaurant is delicious! Such a great addition to the falls church area. The milk teas are phenomenal, just full of flavor and not sugar additives and powder like other places. The food is amaaaaazing. Fresh ingredients and superb taste. Get seafood platter, you wonโ€™t regret. The black milk tea and green thai tea is amazing as well. The inside is very well decorated and inviting. I feel at home here, and the cooks and owner make me feel welcomed. Please give this place a shot.

My wife and I have been trying to find a good and affordable pho place in our area (Arlington). Found Lantern House on the way back from a Tyson's trip and now we see why it has close to a 5 star rating. The summer and imperial rolls were fresh and full of flavor while the pho was the best I've had since a Saigon trip in 2013. Staff was extremely friendly and we liked the modern interior and decorations. Price point was good for us, but we're used to Arlington prices; not sure how it stacks up cost-wise to other nearby places. Definitely going to be repeat customers.

We ordered Viet crepe with shrimp and pork, caramel fish, and imperial crispy roll. All of them were delicious. The portions were quite generous. Caramel fish was pretty spicy though.

It may be in a strip mall, but it felt like a 5-star experience. Best Vietnamese food I have EVER had, and a broad drink menu. 10/10 would recommend!

Great food, flavorful. Drinks are delicious too! There is a limited bar menu after 9pm. They are open until 1am but it's an after hours menu no the full one.

Unfortunately, we have now ordered twice from them online. And both times, they don't have our order when we get there, and then they try to start the order and prepare it. The second time, we waited 20 minutes until after we got our confirmation text that the order was ready for pickup. And still, when we arrived, they hadn't started the order, but already charged us. The first time, when we arrive, they said it would take 20 minutes. Then they rushed the food and didn't get the order right. We had already driven away. Granted, the food tastes good if you actually get it, but if you order online, you're rolling the dice with getting food at all.
