I stay at Suncoast all the time but only just tried Briggs Oyster Company. I regret not doing it sooner! I had a great time as a solo diner– the staff was extremely friendly, the food was amazing (half dozen oysters and the pan roast… chef's kiss!), and everything was priced reasonably. I appreciate this hotel/casino so much for being such a great experience every visit.

This place was fantastic. My wife and I came here on a whim after hanging out at Boca Park because we were just going to try a random restaurant in the Sun Coast casino since they have a few new ones. It was a great find. We got clams, oysters, gumbo and some shrimp and crab pasta. Everything was very well made. I want to come back and try the Lobster Roll too. Even the fish and chips looked good. We sat right at the bar so we got ro see the chef cool right in front of us. Makes your mouth water.

Food was good, the service was absolutely terrible. We had Jonathan as our server. My step dad asked if they had smaller bowls of clam chowder, and Jonathan said they only have one size and it can be split. My step dad was asking if anyone wanted to share with him, and I was only getting the clam chowder so I told my step dad I was hoping to get my own bowl because it was the only thing I was ordering. At this point, Jonathan rudely interjected and said “Well it’s a big bowl.” I shouldn’t have to explain myself for wanting my own bowl of clam chowder, especially when I was speaking to my family and not him in that moment. As we continued to eat, my parents asked for some extra of the brown oat rolls (they have a variety of rolls and they liked those the best). To this Jonathan responded, “Finish what you have first.” When they said they were hoping to get the brown rolls specifically, he pointed to the different type of roll and said “You have two more right there.” He left without saying anything and then returned a few minutes later with a basket of the rolls they wanted and plopped them on the table without saying anything. It’s fine if that’s the rule, but don’t treat your customers like they’re children. Not to mention he walked by our table multiple times to check on other tables, only rarely stopping by ours. This place has always been one of my favorites, but the food is not worth having a the terrible service.

Great experience at the bar. It's family friendly and there are 2 tvs to watch sports. The oysters were good, not exceptional ( nothing to wrote home about.) The prices imo are reasonable and I will definitely be back. I have been here 2 times and good service each time. The cooks are very friendly and I thought the atmosphere was the best about the place. Lobster roll too much mayonnaise. Linguine Alfredo is huge and enough for 2. Togo orders are possible and the cooks did a great job keeping all the food easily packed. Sat at the bar the second time and really enjoyed it.

Very tasty fresh oysters. Good sushi rolls. Great service. Excellent seafood ceviche. Nice comfortable atmosphere. A nice little bread basket was served before our meal. Fun place!

Visited the Oyster Bar for the first time and was blown away by the freshness and quality of the seafood. The oysters were especially delicious and the service was great. Can't wait to come back!

So this place is inside Suncoast hotel & casino. They often have a $1 oyster promo on Thursday's. Husband and I also tried one of the sushi rolls and the lobster mac & cheese. We were offered bread & butter while our food was being prepared... Cute place with foodie decor.... The staff was nice & attentive. The food was ok but not my go to choice for oysters or sushi. Just well enough if you were staying as a hotel guest...

Great food, massive portions, almost no wait time (especially compared to the Strip location!). The Alaskan chowder is phenomenal, as is the pan roast, bouillabaisse, and Linguine shrimp scampini. Definitely enough food to eat the leftovers for lunch!

Lots of American sushi rolls, one or two kinds of oysters and quite a few good hot seafood dishes from the kitchen. Their main oysters are from Louisiana which I would not touch with a 10ft pole. Raw seafood from the filthy warm gulf? No thanks. You eat oysters from ice cold ocean water. They had some from Baja that I suspect were farm raised that were pretty good. Had a lobster Mac n cheese that was good but very short on lobster. Decent wine and beer list and friendly staff. Dollar oyster happy hour on Thursdays and Fridays but they're the gulf ones so caveat emptor.

Absolutely love this place! Everything is always fresh. The staff is so friendly. I usually don’t like sitting at the counters in restaurants but I always do here. They make you feel welcome everyone. The food has never disappointed. We highly recommend trying everything 😊 the sushi here is my favorite.

That was the worst lobster roll I’ve ever had in my life. Little tiny pieces of lobster. Very disappointed

Food is just average and worse compared to the one at palace station. Just average If you can't find anywhere to go this might be a consideration.

We stopped in yesterday and are still talking about our meal today! JonathanL never made us ask for refills, condiments or napkins. We eat at the stations bbuutt this service at Briggs was superior. Chef made us special order clams and the sushi rice was fresh. The pan toast that was suggested to us - 5 stars ! Glad we took the recommendation.

Service was great and some of the food and drinks were good. But most of the dishes were under seasoned and the fish special sauce was cold and broken.

Great food and fun atmosphere. Visit almost every time we're at the Suncoast.

Always friendly staff! The food is amazing. Tried the ceviche this time and it rocked. We've gotten the seafood chowder twice now and it's lick-the-bowl delicious. Save some bread mop up the bottom of the bowl. Dragon roll sushi is my favorite too.

After spending close to $100, i can honestly say the only good thing was the water and clam chowder. The waitress seemed distracted and impatient, which made ordering feel like a bother. We started with a full order of oysters and half of the them were definitely questionable. I ordered the linguini alfredo. ZERO FLAVOR. The sauce was extremely thin, I thought it was just me so I had my wife try it out and she felt the same way. When the waitress past I asked her to take the Alfredo and expressed my dislike for the dish. She took it and walked away. Over all the location/restaurant is alot nicer than the food turned out to be. What a shame.

Nothing like the best seafood chowder we've ever had

Staff was very friendly and blue points were tasty. You will pay $$$ for strip food. Also there isn’t anything non-seafood on the menu in case your going with a picky eater.
