This place is very cute. Was clean and well laid out. The staff seemed friendly and attentive for the most part. The food however. ... My husband ordered the Stromboli. He said it was good other than the onions. There was way to many. Almost 2 large onions worth and huge chunks of them. Keep in mind the Stromboli is maybe 8 in long. So essentially in my mind an onion Stromboli with a drop of everything else. I ordered the Sweetie Pie as I am really into the sweet sauce right now. It came put together table soupy on top and what exactly was that barf looking cheese? It even tasted like barf. I took 2 bites and threw the rest away. Upon reading other reviews , it's American cheese? Who puts American cheese on their puzzas, other then the at home in a hurry, no other cheese available pizza snack on English muffins maybe! Absolutely disgusting. Those are the only two items we had so we have no idea how anything else on the menu tasted but we won't be going back to find out.

I’ve been ordering here since around the time they opened. The order was always pretty much thorough and complete. Super bowl Sunday I ordered the buffalo wing pizza which always comes with a side of blue cheese. I ordered it and trusted the sauce would be in there as always. Well, today I got home and no blue cheese. I called Nearras and all she said was sorry. It took three different supermarket visits to find blue cheese for this pizza for my guests. By the time I got home I was exhausted and no longer hungry. I usually give them good business but after today I will no longer order.

Being a total Office fan, I had to get pizza in Scranton! The pizza here is delicious. I'm talking cheese so stringy and tasty! The sauce is sweet in the best way. I ordered the white pizza and it was perfect! Hubby ordered banana peppers and bacon which he totally enjoyed. I really enjoyed the old school Italian vibes going on with the decor and wall hangings. They also have a game room which was a bonus. Bathrooms where clean and handicapped accessible. We ordered to go but plan on bringing the family back! Keep up the wonderful job. I'm getting hungry just writing this! 🍕

Last night we ordered a pizza at 6:30 we didn't get it until 10:00 and the pizza was ice cold had to put it in the oven wasn't the right size and wasn't the right topping hardly no cheese or sauce .. we are very loyal customers

The atmosphere may be plain but the food is great especially the Detroit pizza!

If you haven't been there you must go. Delicious...we had The Big Cooper and Detroit style, amazing!!!! Plus it byob ❤️

Dear GOD OUR #1 PIZZA as of now and we eat pizza every Friday for 30 years! Great pizza, service and super clean place just parking lot really really needs to be fixed. Big pipe or idk sticking up almost killed myself. Lol GO TRY EVERYYYY PIZZA!!!! 100%GREAT

Ordered two deep dish pizzas and an Italian hogie tonight was amazing... from the start the person who took my order was so pleasant it made me smile:) highly recommend this place. 👌

I will start off by saying this was my birthday dinner and I made the mistake of calling this horrible place for meat raviolis which I got 8 in the container and so much marinara sauce that they were swimming in way to much sauce! Also the undercooked garlic bread all so gross! I will never order from here again! 10 years ago there food was good but now I know I will never go back and I hope you listen!! Don’t waste your hard earned money at this establishment!!!Also the cheesecake was tiny and $6.50 for a sliver of cheesecake!! Not worth it!! It looks like it’s old and stale! 🤢

Nearras pizza is even better in-person. Hot, crispy crust plenty of cheese.. a little garlic salt..so good!!

Chicago style pizza was excellent. Dough and sauce is flavorful and the amount of cheese was more than enough. A little expensive but worth it once in awhile. Very filling.

I almost always have a good experience here. Even if the food isn’t super great on a particular day, I always have good service. Today our usual waitress wasn’t in which was fine because I was still so excited to eat. The waitress we did get (the receipt said Tony?) paid us almost no attention after dropping the food off which I figured she was just busy. But when my husband finally got up to ask for boxes and a receipt she suddenly took on an attitude as well. She dropped the receipt on the table and then kind of trailed off wherever saying “whenever you’re ready” so when she came back I thought she wanted our card and I went to hand it to her but she just silently brushed her hand passed me to the plates. I’ll tip the whole bill on good service, but this was ridiculous. I’ll be back, but only if I see my regular waitress. I’m not interested in someone being rude to me while I’m trying to enjoy a nice dinner.

How can you advertise “cheese burger” on the menu. You order a cheeseburger thinking it would be real meat! It’s a beef patty not even fresh ground beef. A frozen beef patty. It’s a tiny patty that can’t even fit on the bun . It literally all bun . Wow.

ordered 1 grandma's pizza and ordered 1 Sicilian pizza, was told 30-35 minutes, showed up 10 minutes early ,pizza was ready, sweet, but the pizza was cold? both trays cold, the shell they use which is a joke for Sicilian was also broken and soggy what a joke beyond disappointment better pizza in the frozen section at the dollar store, never again will I order from here poor quality big letdown a waste of $30.

We ordered a few times from here and the food was good but today we ordered a chicken cheesesteak and a regular cheesesteak and it was All bun. Barely no steak on it! We won't be ordering again.

Ordered Italian with sweet peppers there was more peppers than meat 2 slices of ham, sausage, peppers onions parm no cheese no side salad or dressing instead 2 marinara @$1.50 and a steak and cheese with hot peppers sorry will not order there again used to be great and the drivers are great sorry

Went to the shop that I drive by weekly and figured to give it a try the sauce and cheese I rate 7.5/10 but the crust I rate about a 2/10 it was hard like a stale breadstick and tasted bland overall rating for the pizza 4.5/10 any of y’all who say this is like New York pizza never had genuine New York pizza

Delicious salad and a slice of pizza made a fabulous meal. The wait staff was wonderful. The restaurant and restrooms were clean.

The pizza was great although next time we will order it cooked a lil longer, the chicken Parmigiana was great, the hoagies not so much. Better options around the city for those.

Just ordered 2 chicken strip dinners and should have only ordered 1. Lots of great French fries and 5 pieces of chicken. Huge and hot. Great job on the delivery. 🖕🖕🖕

I drive pass here all the time. I wanted a slice of pizza so I called and I am glad I did. The pizza was good . They must be from NYC. I've never had extra cheese like that since nyc. Definitely will go back .

Great classic NYC/Philly style pizza with non-sweet sauce. I ordered a circle pepperoni pizza, it was mad greasy but delicious non the less. Was good the next day cold too.

I haven't had a good New York style pizza since moving to Pa. Nearra's pizza is on the money. The pizza dough is to die for. Their sandwiches are really good too. My son likes the cheese steak with the works. Everything we have tasted from this gem of a restaurant has been delicious and the prices are more than reasonable

If you're looking for good food at a good price, Nearra's is worth the 10-minute excursion from the interstate. They have great pizza and calzone. Our three-generation traveling group had a good dinner here. My daughter noted that their pizza is rare in that one of its best features is the crust. *Highly recommended*

Best Detroit style pizza! They deliver fast, too. The hoagies are enormous! The tuna was really good.

There steak & cheese hoagies r so good My grandsons loves the hot buffalo chicken pizza but only by the slices not the tray.

I just got this pizza for what I think is my first time at Congressperson Cartwright and Democrats Scranton, PA headquarters on 4/21/22 and it is an excellent pizza!

I dont even think of anyone else when it comes to NY style Pizza cuz Nearas is the best around PA. Their cheese is the justice over all - nice pull kind 💯 Chicken Parm Hogie- you can't make anything better at home So why try and it's HUGE OMGOSH 3 PPL can have a nice cut. The BEST !!! We usually love their food but what an insult. Where’s the meat? All bread. The chicken cheesesteak was not great either. Inflation is apparently very real.
