Loving my experience living here downtown! The building is historic yet completely updated with every convenience imaginable. The staff are amazingly helpful too! Aaron with the maintenance staff has promptly fixed any issues I’ve had fast and with ease. Amanda the manager is always willing to help in any way possible, such as leaving delivers at your door. The doorman/security staff in the lobby 24/7 gives you that extra sense of security when you come and go. The location and close proximity to amazing restaurants, and nightlife is unbelievable! I highly recommend checking this place out before you decide where to live next!

I visit my family member there on occasion and it's absolutely lovely, but where is the young man that I've seen cleaning up, never complains and always there lending a helping hand. I believe his name is Drequan or Dre? He introduced himself a while back because he helped me carry my bags, It's great to have this kind of person as one of the people we interact with throughout the building! I hope all is well 🙏🏾

Great customer service experience especially Amanda who help me through all the process hassle free and quickly. Start from my application abroad, she respond all my inquiries and information as soon as possible. When I got here , I'm amazed that it’s worth the money plus amenities and security . I can easily access door entrance just using an app. Thank you for good renovation and good management here. I can’t wait to see more additional amenities theyll add. So far I’m enjoying my stay. Update: Been here living more than 15 months, There is some conflict and issues that needs to be address. First of all I m satisfied about how quickly the response of management regarding maintenance issue of the room. Downside is paying online, sometimes the site is crashing and can lock your account and wait for 24-48 hours to set up again payment that charge you automatically online. I reach out thru email about this but looks like they ignore and never respond. Which I have still need to pay for late fee even the site itself crashing to accept online payment. The shower also have problems that needs to wait for 10 mins before using it. Lastly the AC and heater keeps going breaking every month or twice/thrice a month. Smoke issue is highly concerning. It needs to watch out. Other resident living in the building smoke weed and we can smell it inside the apt and even the hallway/ elevator. I address it before but landlord staff/manager just say to avail scent filter to reduce the smell. I understand it is uncontrollable . Wish they at least find a solution. AND also I wish that they will bring back security person like my experience when i started living in here around December 2021, I felt safe when they have it in the lobby.

Beware of all the 5 star reviews from the past few months, there was some contest to win a scooter, where you had to leave a review to win. Been here ~6 months now, you get what you pay for I guess… The location they can’t do much about, Downtown Louisville is dead socially but if you work here I guess that’s a plus. It’s still not quiet though, plenty of sirens and other “loud noises” every night. The problems with the actual apartment is the fact that it’s just a very old building with some makeup on it. 1 of the 4 (usually 2) elevators are consistently out of service (and you can only tell from the first floor; if you’re on your own floor and both on one side are out, you pick that side and you’ll just be sitting there waiting until you hit the other side too). Hot water can take a WHILE to get hot. Sometimes it takes a few minutes, just now I had to run the shower on full blast for 80 minutes before it warmed up. Just depends. HVAC was operational when I moved in, then summer hit and the A/C went out 2 or 3 times (days at a time). They offered ice cream in the lobby one day to help us “cool down”. I’m fully expecting the heat to go out a couple times during the winter, will update then. Walls are thin so you can hear just about EVERYTHING that’s above a whisper if you’re in the next room over, but that’s neighbor dependent. There are some nice things. It’s relatively cheap for what you get, the actual bedroom is large sized and some of the rooms have a nice view. Oh, the cabinetry and included appliances are also pretty good. That’s about it.

I really enjoy living here, the staff has been genuinely kind and helpful. I feel welcomed every time I walk in and I feel comfortable walking around the building and utilizing our amenities. I tend to be a really shy person, but being here has allowed me to feel confident to walk into the gym, pool, and everywhere in between. I’m new to Kentucky and moving to such a different place was scary, being here has truly helped that transition.

Flats on fifth has been a welcoming place to live, location can't get better in Louisville and accompanied with the price you can't ask for much more. Amenities are above average as well. I have lived in many places and to this day have not seen a place as well staffed as Flats. Especially Drequan, a very personable person, who will make sure any concerns or problems you have are handled promptly, constantly working hard. Also, he will make sure each resident feels as if they are part of a community, taking time to know you as a person. Have appreciated every minute of this experience

Dre'quan and Ty are amazing guys and got me into my unit with the quickness. SO HAPPY to be living in this awesome building right in the heart of downtown Louisville. The building has soo many amenities, my favorite part so far has been the giant lounge space with a pool table. But my favorite part about living here, just at one week now, is making easy friends with the other tenants; Dre and Ty have really curated a solid community of chill and friendly people. Very happy to have signed up for a 15 month lease, and planning on signing up for another after! Flats on Fifth is the truth.

Flats on Fifth is a convenient, comforting residence. The staff is genuinely caring especially DreQuan who assisted me throughout the entirety of my move-in. The location is in the heart of Downtown Louisville which is idea for work and fun. Compared to other apartments downtown, it has great quality while also being affordable. I recommend Flats on Fifth.

I have been here a year now and still love it. I just went through the process of transferring into a bigger apartment. Tyrone was on top of it every step of the way and kept me updated on each step. The office staff is so wonderful and helpful with everything that I had questions on.

we’ve only been living here for about 2 weeks now and so far, we love it! tyrone and dre’quan are amazing and super friendly! all the other tenants we’ve run into are also super friendly and welcoming! i was a bit skeptical about moving here after reading previous reviews, but so far so good! tyrone is an excellent property manager and i’m sure any past complaints will be long forgotten and fixed. my most favorite part about our apartment is the kitchen! it’s so inspiring and makes me excited to cook!
