I'm a frequent customer of Sansanni ever since its opening. The food was good at the start but the quality started to drop. The salmon sashimi contained a lot of bones and it wasn't fresh because the colour was very off and unappealing. The skewers were also extremely dry that no amount of drinking water could save me.

Newly opened resturant. The fried oysters and tempura was delicious, sashimi was fresh and the drinks were great. Ordering was quick and staff were very friendly. Do recommend trying this place!

I loved their sushi sashimi set as they offered a variety of sushi and side dishes. The quality of salmon could have been better and it wasn’t as satisfying as I expected. However, the fried chicken was a bit overcooked and salty and the rice was quite dry (they can add a splash of oil to the rice when cooking it). I wish they could provide cutlery and sauces on the table. I am hoping to see their improvement.

Very clean and modern restaurant, airconditioned on a hot day. You order food on this tablet, keep in mind once you press "send to kitchen", it goes through immediately. Food was delicious, I got the Katsu set and it did not disappoint (see picture, forgive my half eaten dish). I'm making this my go-to for Japanese food from now on.

The grilled sushi were really awesome! You could eat the fresh rice and yummy seafood on the top. The fried chicken don tasted too salty for us but thanks the staff for serving us extra plain rice. And the design of restaurant is lovely too. Customers need to use iPad to order. We tried again after three weeks. The nigiri is awesome definitely. We ordered the fried chicken curry don and salmon set. They all tasted good and were offered quickly. Definitely will visit next time.

If google could give zero stars, I would never give one star I have never seen a chicken katsu so bad The chicken could be thinner than a chopstick The batter was thicker than the meat (photo to prove it) The grilled fish steak was dry as a tree bark and had no aroma of grease at all At this level, the chicken katsu was $22 for a set meal and the grilled fish was $10. When I asked the counter who made the chicken katsu The answer was that they bought it outside If, according to the owner's reply Dear owners, do you know how thin your katsu is? Of course Panko can be bought from the supplier, but this meal just makes me think you are over costing down! I've had many grilled fish but this is the only restaurant that grills the fish until it turns into bark and then tells me to pair it with sake which is also a bad answer! Especially the skin of the mackerel, the aroma of the oil is the essence of the fish And your chef has completely killed the fish by grilling it like this! I used to think the lowest rating I could give a restaurant was that the water was good. But this restaurant has changed my perception He didn't even serve water At dinner time, I regretted reading the 5-star review above I wasted my money and time on a restaurant that I will never return to again. Finally a good Japanese restaurant to frequent in Clayton - no longer need to drive to Glen Waverley. Partner and I got the teishoku sets - generous portions, fresh ingredients and great taste. Restaurant itself had great vibes, was exceptionally clean and well decorated. Service was lovely as well. The kitchen was open quite late (last call at 9PM) - usually at this hour you're lacking for options.

I LOVE the food here !! My fav drink is definitely the matcha smoothie :) The food is always so yummy especially the sashimi. Which you order the food through a tablet. Atmosphere is very nice, service is also good when seating at table and serving food :)

So I suggested we go together and have a dinner in this restaurant. I was told this place just opened a while ago. Staff we're very friendly, approachable and professional. Food is superb. Well well well… Where do I start guys… Let’s just keep it simple, it’s not good at all and I’ve gotta be honest to save my people who are spending their hard earn’t money to dine somewhere nice with their families. I don’t recommend this place, it’s just awful, go to Okami and green village, and save some money. Only ate it cause we felt bad for the chef. Thanks guys for reading my review!

Quick walk from Clayton station, which is great for Monash students. The interior is cute. I got the beef teishoku set which was presented great and tasted nice. It came with sashimi, fried tofu, soy sauce and instant miso soup. You place your order via an iPad and pay by the counter. The Katsu Curry was alright too.

Tried some yummy Japanese dishes. Tried eel and my kid had a kids meal which came in a kid friendly plate. Had a nice overall experience.

I really liked this place. The service was very friendly, the place was nice and big and clean. The food was super fresh, very tasty, and so so quick to arrive! The katsu curry was delicious, the beef udon was fantastic! And it was all quite well priced. I will definitely have to come back again and try more dishes! Just one tiny feedback, the katsu curry would have been amazing if there was a little more curry sauce. Everything else is perfect! 🤩

Food is great, fresh, tasty. Ordering system leaves a lot to be desired. Food came out mains before entrees, mains ordered 3 minutes apart (this is the system) came 15 minutes apart…. Staff decided they were going to clean all around us while we were eating. Moving all the tables out of the booths, sweeping… very strange. It’s not like we were the last or first in there, this was at 7:30 on a Friday.
